It was supposed to be a quiet, out of the way confidence builder for the former FCBA lightweight champ - a chance for Jessica to combine a holiday with a light work out and drive the memory of Jennifer Garner's fists well into the background. Mission accomplished.

From the onset, Biel - tanned and carrying a little extra weight - fought with absolute disdain for Portia's strength or hitting power. Carrying her hands low, even at her sides at times, Jessica went about the business of placing right hands into Portia's tummy, chest and chin, scoring single potshots at will, then sliding off to the right while weaving her torso to evade every single panicky blonde counter-thrust. It really was a thing of dreadful beauty - Jessica scoring with eye-popping spank, then dropping her hands, dipping and slipping, finally guiding Portia past with a hand at the blonde's back - poor DeRossi looked a stumbling moron as Biel guided her through the dance. The end came with Portia punching hard off the ropes, Biel calmly slipping and rolling under punches, then coming out of the crouch with a swift left uppercut/hook to clap the mouthpiece off Portia's teeth. With the blonde suspended forward like a marionette - Jessica eased Portia back a shoulder in the chest, picked up her chin a tangy right uppercut, touched her the left shoulder again while sliding the back foot back a little for leverage and pulled a savage finishing right hand over top to Portia's temple. DeRossi went out on her feet, slumping forward into Biel until Jessica hopped to the side, allowing blonde deadweight to hit the canvas on her face. A tidy, supple, athletic KO1 performance - Biel keeping it loose on Australian sand.
