BEFORE: Fight a bit of a publicity stunt for two starlets looking to get noticed: ring set up in downtown LA as part of the red-carpet walk for some cable awards-show: fighters wriggling out of their hottie-dresses into fighting bikinis, taking the ring in broad daylight.

Lovato the more vocal in weeks leading up, telling FIGHTING INGENUE: "This isn't about Jojo at all. It's about the debut of the biggest thing to hit celebrity boxing since Hayden Panettiere. I'm positioning myself right in there with Hilary Duff, Selena G, Hayden, the CW-stupids like Meester, the Pretty Little Losers, Jamie Spears if she's not all used up at this point...I'm gonna be standing tall over all of 'em when I'm through!" Jojo countering by pronouncing Demi's last name "LovAYto", so that once Demi corrects her, Jojo can say: "Lovayto; Lovato - whatever" - usually initiating a tempestuous catfight between the two until security can intervene.

Lovato in neon teal bra-strapped bandeau bikini; orange gloves; hair up, ringlets framing face. Jojo in hot pink bra-style bikini; black gloves; dark hair loose, tangly.

During R1: Slugging jiggle-show early as girls step-to all blazing eyes/scowling pouts, loading up fat right hands and looking to belt one another stupid. Fight drifts inside...both girls tightening up stroke, rolling shoulders to pump chugging lefts and rights to offending tummies and tits in rousing hup-hup bursts. Jojo getting outworked, backed up: she's clinching for ref's breaks, looking a little ass-kicked as Demi proves a bully in the first. "I'M ALL OVER YOU!" Demi shouts at the bell.

R2: Same again - some wild-swinging, jugs a-jumpin' haymakers outside, giving way to more disciplined, shoulder-to-shoulder hup-hup inside. Lovato out-slugging Jojo, backing her up, walking her down. Demi's expression: I'm-gonna-get-you aggression. Jojo's expression: stop-pounding-me-in-the-body, I'm-hurting! Lovato showing nice form in close...her left shoulder pushing on Jojo's left shoulder...Demi able to snap off a tidy hook tight to Jojo-jug, then hook her again in the tummy as Jojo's trying to answer. Round to Demi as she works Jojo over along all 4 ring aprons. Demi animated on the jog back to her corner - pumping her fist, looking upbeat as trainer tries to settle her down.

R3: Demi's eyes blazing - she wants more Jojo! Belting right hand early turns Jojo's chin, buckles her knees...she's swooning, forlorn, trying to tie up as Demi bodies her into ropes. Cue thumping beat-down: Lovato pushing Jojo into compliance at ropes, then pouring it on: Demi's sturdy legs/curvy backside keeping her strong position as sturdy upperbody churns in the work. Jojo cranky from punishment - leaning forward with right at left cheek/left across her tummy; taking it tuff in both flanks behind her elbows, or clouted stout about head and shoulders. Bell: Demi pushes off all "I'm big!" - prancing back to her corner with a bratty grin as Jojo limps back to port. Cameras catch Demi telling her trainer: "She's weak! I can feel it!"

R4: More Demi! Lovato just loving it on Jojo - quickly chasing her down with wide, aggressive eyes, then slugging her rival into a peek-a-boo shell. Poor Jojo stumbling around with fists at her temples, gasping as Lovato whacks the waist/flanks, then seeks rugged uppercuts through the middle. Demi's shoulders bumping Jojo off balance; Demi's legs walking Jojo down; Demi's fists pounding Jojo...it's good methodical stuff from a young vixen. Down the stretch, Jojo's stricken, butt-in-ropes, slumping over on her left side as Demi pushes in, packs right hands into the Jojo midriff! Poor Jojo just taking it in the body; Demi with left hand cupping Jojo's right shoulder, holding her steady for digging torment. Bell: Demi forces bully's eye contact with wincing Jojo: Jojo hugging her body after the bell, trying her hardest not to cry after 4 one-sided rounds of Demi. Lovato blows a cheeky kiss to a scowling Jamie Lynn Spears on the prance-back to corner.

R5: Jojo firms as she realizes it's now or never to stand up for herself. Girls tie up chest-to-chest - each squirming to get her arms in under the other's arms and get her moving backward. Fight stumbles to ropes, tumbles along aprons as battlers yank each other around, reversing position at the cables. Girls panting and gasping in close-quarters: constant body-on-body tummy pressure as fighters stuff in tuff right hands from inside the clinch. Jojo proving stocky-sturdy, finally getting her way some of the time and outworking Demi inside. Bell: grunting starlets still holding and hurting...ref has to pry 'em apart as Demi lands a cheap, slapping right to Jojo-jug after the break.

R6: Surprising brutality as girls are hitting hard from well-grounded stances, curvy legs, stocky bodies proving stout slugging platforms. Fighters taking turns backing one another up via walking barrage of clubbing lefts and rights: when one girl hits ropes, she clinches, gets ref's break for restart. Both getting tagged upside the head, but it's Demi driving on Jojo - really pancaking her into ropes and putting a body on her at every opportunity. Jojo whining, looking distressed at times: Demi baring teeth and shouting "HAH!" whenever she loads up righty. Bell: Demi atop Jojo, ragdolling her against ropes to stack her up...ref pulls Lovato off as she's screaming, "I'M ALL UP IN YOU, JO! YOU'RE QUITTING AND I'M STILL FRESH!!"

R7: Jojo standing her ground, then walking Demi into a little knocking jab to pate...taking a half step back...walking Demi into a check hook stubby to chin...taking a half step back...trading a stubby right uppercut for Demi's looping overhand rights...then they're in each other's arms, savagely pulling each other around, holding and harming. Ref's break sorts 'em out midring...Jojo setting up in that smart little pocket, making Demi pay a little toll to come forward...once they fall in, the brawling's sloppy and more or less even. Nibbling points for Jojo as she stabilizes her front...she's starting to find answers as Demi's looking slightly gassed from her fast start. Jojo pursing her lips at Demi after the break: Lovato goes into a rage, looking to jump Jojo's back as ref steps in smart.

R8: Demi back atop Jojo, being the stronger girl, being the bully. Demi reaching under Jojo's arms, stacking her into ropes. Demi working out of the wrap - her left arm curled 'round Jojo's right shoulder, slumping her forward for slugging right hands to gut. Demi snarling, shrugging her shoulders in close to scrub at Jojo's jugs via close-in side-to-side lefts and rights. Demi bodying Jojo to ropes, then putting forehead to Jojo's chest while plugging fists pump the Jojo tummy. Jojo looking all vexed and disheveled, but struggling: she's banking good hooks in behind Demi's right elbow, and the right uppercut lands chin-and-tits on the few occasions Jojo bites it off. Bell: fighters still squirming and entangled at ropes - ref has to pull Demi off whining Jojo.

R9: Girls dipping and swinging haymaker lefts and rights - Demi backing Jojo up in the free-swinging melee, both girls clouted about the face and jaw. By the minute mark, Jojo's finding a nice rhythm...just stepping back to mess with Demi's tempo, catching Lovato a hook as Demi fills the gap, then trading furiously until both fighters fall into clinch. Demi mouthbreathing, having a weary moment: Jojo jabs her jugs, hooks her chin, starts her tottering backward! Ropes: Demi under real pressure...she's crossing wrists at her breasts, scowling, dipping side to side as Jojo squares away. Jojo baring her fangs, just whirling in the punches - helicoptering lefts and rights spanking off the hips and flanks of Demi, beating her biceps, clouting her cheeks. LOVATO LOOSENS UP! Accumulation of shot suddenly has Demi's hands drooping...she's staring glassy-eyed, sitting in ropes and JOJO POURS IT ON! Demi's head flopping around after hard chin-checks; Demi's breasts slumping helpless in their cups as they catch rude clout...Jojo leaning in on front (left) leg, STRAINING to slop on the hurt and THE REF STEPS IN! TKO9 Jojo in come-from-behind fashion!

After: Poor Demi blubbering in confusion - well ahead on all cards, generally seeming the stronger, more impressive girl, when suddenly the wheels come flying off! Jojo delighted - grinning dimply, hugging her attendants...she's very brazen marching into the Lovato corner to pull sniveling Demi to her feet. Welcome-To-The-FCBA walk of shame for Demi - Jojo's right arm snug about the stricken vixen's waist - left hand waving to the crowd, or grabbing at Demi's chin to make her face into this or that camera. Poor Demi stumbling woozy, blubbering all cranky and ass-kicked...pretty ingenue just too excited early, spending up all her money in a dominant first half, only to watch Jojo eat her up down the stretch. "I'm better," Jojo tells FIGHTING INGENUE in no uncertain terms. "I'm Brittany-Snow good, maybe even Minka Kelly good...tramps like Demi and Jamie Lynn and Selena aren't in my league!" Bold!
