Round 1

NAT LANDS THE RIGHT UPPERCUT, Dixon rocked in the first 10 seconds. Trying to back away, NAT LANDS THE LEFT UPPERCUT and DOWN GOES ALESHA DIXON! Blistering powerful punches from the Aussie pocket rocket send the Brit to the canvas. Alesha up at 7 with a cut lip and bloody nose. AND ON COMES NAT. Dixon backpedalling to the corner, copping a pasting from Nat, hooks to the body chest and chin from Nat, Dixons legs are wobbly as Nat props her up with an uppercut to the chin and the FIRES IN THE RIGHT JAB and DOWN GOES DIXON AGAIN! The ref ready to call this as Dixon rises again at 7, looks ok. She quickly spins out of the corner as Nat advances again. Dixon getting it together, guard up, backing away from the charge Aussie, ducking and weaving the ferocious hooks and jabs and landing some solid body blows at the bell.

Round 2

RIGHT HOOK NAT, DIXON DOW AGAIN! She walked right into that one and the Aussie is bouncing with joy but Dixon is also bouncing to her feet, more shocked than anything. ON COMES NAT, firing stiff jabs at the surprised face of Dixon, punches bouncing off Dixons chin and jaw, hooking the torso and blasting the uppercut to the solar plexus. DIXON HURT, stumbling back to the ropes as Nat advances and fires in the stiff jab to the nose, right hook to the chin, left hook to the cheek, RIGHT HOOK TO THE TEMPLE AND DOWN GOES DIXON for the fourth time. This is insane! The Aussies could make the series unwinnable right here. DIXON TO HER FEET!! Swaying like a tree in the breeze but allowed to fight on. Nat charges in and DIXON LANDS THE RIGHT HOOK and DOWN GOES BASSINGTHWAIGHTE!! Nat stunned by the Brit actually throwing a punch at her. Dixon can’t believe it. Nat up at 8 but the bell sounds.

Amazing round by Nat Bassingthwaighte, dismantling Dixon until being stunned at the end and going down herself. She was surprised by that punch expecting that she would end it there. Dixon showing some fight but she needs to defend herself in the early exchanges.

Round 3

Nat stilled stunned sees her boxing, working the jab, trying to steer Dixon around the ring. Dixon working the body with hooks and jabs, the first minute is what we expected of the first round. Mid way through Nat surprises and unleashes again. Stiff jabs, followed by crisp uppercuts, backing Dixon into the ropes and CATCHING THE RIGHT UPPERCUT to Dixons chin. Dixon in a daze. Nat throwing combinations at her face, head on a bobble, punching her had back and fourth side to side but she won’t go down. Ref in close getting ready to call it as Dixon falls into the clinch. Ref forces them apart and ON COMES NAT but Dixon gets under a few hooks and troubles Nat to the mid section. Dixon ducking and weaving landing more punches on Nats torso to the bell.

Alesha Dixon might have just done enough that round but she has a lot of work to do in this fight. Nat is far too powerful.

Round 4

Dixon surprised that Nat doesn’t advance, both girls sussing each other out again, Nat jabbing to the body trying to work Dixon over, Dixon to the head with sneaky jabs. Mid way through the crowd is getting bored, very little action as both goths circle and jab, not landing much. Dixon looking to settle in, but cautious of the surprise attacks from Nat. Dixon now jabbing strongly through Nats guard, lands a solid jab to the chin, Nat backing away for the first time in the fight. Dixon sensing, pounces forward jabbing again, rocking Nats head back again and again. Nat shaken, guard high, Dixon blasts hooks at the ribcage, Nat wincing, guard lowering as Dixon jabs the head back and Nat is on the ropes. Dixon working the body again with ferocious hooks to the ribs, Nats guard drops again for the RIGHT UPPERCUT, LEFT UPPERCUT, RIGHT HOOK ALESHA DIXON! DOWN GOES NATALIE BASSINGTHWAIGHTE! Brilliant combination sends the aussie slugger sideways through the air, crashing to the canvas. The ref counts 1, 2, 3 but Nat hasn’t moved and it’s over! KO Alesha Dixon!

Natalie Bassingthwaighte stopped in the 4th by Alesha Dixon who could have been down and out 4 times in the first two rounds but handled the powerful surprise attacks from Nat and gave it back to her and then some.
