Neither Pixie or Emma have really been able to get things going. With both suffering losses in their last matches, each seems determined more than ever to move on with a win.

Both girls come to the fight dressed in black, Pixie wearing a one-piece while Emma's in a bikini.


Round 1:
Emma starts the round off well, keeping Pixie at bay with her jab. Pixie raises her guard, moving in and beginning to answer back, managing to block Emma's jabs and answer back with her own counter-punches to the face, backing Emma up against the ropes. As Emma raises her guard in response, Pixie immediately shifts down to the body, pumping punch after punch in as Emma tries to clinch. She finally manages to, the rest of the round seeing mostly clinching as the girls trade the occasional body shot.

Pixie takes the round as Emma pays for playing it a little too safe.


Round 2:
Pixie comes in fast, catching Emma with a few jabs to the face, then going right back to playing the body game. She leaves both her guard and her attention down for too long, however, as Emma suddenly clips her across the chin with a wild right hook, and one that had no business landing, to boot. Pixie suddenly appears dazed, trying to raise her hands, but Emma manages to continue to pop in with her jab, bullying the girl into the ropes. Pixie soaks punishment for the remainder of the round, simply trying to cover for as much of it as she can.

Emma fires back strong, taking the round easily.


Round 3:
Pixie seems tentative, trying to keep her distance, and uses her jab to try and keep Emma away. Emma turns up the aggression, however, mounting just enough of a counter-offense to push Pixie back against the ropes. Pixie tucks in, turning to the side and trying to cover up. Emma manages to sink a punch just behind her elbow which opens her up ever so slightly to another, sending the girl wilting to the mat. Pixie manages to make it up as the ref's count hits 7, but she stands on wobbly legs, simply forced to absorb more punishment as Emma steps in and begins banging body shots to the bell.

A huge round for Emma.


Round 4:
Emma comes in fast, looking to finish Pixie off, but is surprised to once again find resistance from Pixie's jab. Emma lowers her guard just a little, turning the aggression up once again, as she decides to take punishment in order to dish it. Pixie punches back, however, turning it into a slugfest, which Emma does not at all seem ready for. Pixie catches her with a hard right hook, turning her head to the side, then catches her with a harsh uppercut as she turns back that sends Emma skidding to the mat. Emma manages to raise by the count of 8, but she looks shaky. Pixie moves in immediately, pressing her to the ropes and immediately moving to the body as Emma buries her head in her gloves. Pixie punches at her frantically, gritting her teeth and letting out grunts as she exerts herself with every punch. Emma miraculously manages to remain standing to the bell, however, causing Pixie to let out an exasperated "No!"

Pixie's round as her second wind caught Emma completely off guard.


Round 5:
Both girls are slow out of their corners, Emma definitely hurt while Pixie seems completely exhausted from her efforts in the previous round. The two spend the early parts of the round cautiously circling each other, guard tight and only flailing the occasional jab. Suddenly, one particular jab manages to split the gloves of Pixie, sending the girl's head jolting back. Emma takes the opening to return to the body, getting in a good shot or two before Pixie manages to clinch. Pixie tries her best to remain clinched, but she's completely spent. Emma manages to muscle her away, catching her with a hard jab that shakes the knees. Emma props her up with a hand, firing punch after punch to the gut, Pixie almost squealing with each shot before Emma finally lets her sink to the mat. The ref begins the count, but it's not even needed, as Pixie gives it up on the mat in tears.

Emma Rigby knocked Pixie Lott out in the fifth round.


Emma beams from her victory, though it's clear the fight could have gone the other way just as easily. Regardless, she escapes with the much needed win, leaving Pixie to weep as she wonders just where it went wrong.
