The first of two support fights for the Czech Connection event features Christine Bleakley and Kear's Kats' Sarah Manners who is making her BBU debut tonight. Bleakley has knocked out Jenny Frost in her maiden fight almost a month ago and looks confident of scoring her second win. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

As the girls are in their corners waiting for the fight to start, Lioness Club's chief journalist Kate Garraway talks to both of them:
Kate: Christine, how do you feel before your second BBU fight?
Christine: Well, I think I'm prepared very well for this fight. I suspect this Manners girl is a copy of Jenny Frost whom I knocked out easily last month, so I don't expect any real trouble.
Kate: Thanks Christine and have a good fight. Now let's get over to Sarah Manners. Hey girl, do you think you can win on your debut tonight?
Sarah: I see what I can do with her. I've heard she considers me a jobber, but I think I'll surprise her with my technique and make sure she feels my punches alright!
Kate: OK, good luck to you and may the better woman win!

Round 1:
Both girls circle around each other, but Christine steps up first and throws some promising hooks at Sarah who bravely takes them on her guard. Christine looks happy with that start and gets closer to her rival trying to push her back into the corner. Sarah reads that well and responds with a low jab under the brunette's elbow that misses the target. Christine is unfazed by the blonde's action so far and continues to throw punches, but she can't break through Manners' guard. Finally both women clinch along the ropes and Christine is pushing her rival further back. Sarah leans on her in response and manages to push the brunette away before referee can separate them on his own. Bleakley throws some more punches that miss the target before Sarah quickly steps up and catches the surprised brunette in the stomach. She goes for the follow up, but Christine quickly jumps back and prevents the blonde from any more action.

Round 2:
It's much more aggressive start from Manners in round two. She jumps at Christine and throws a quick combination that forces her back along the ropes. Bleakley tries to respond, but sees her punches crash against the blonde's guard, while Sarah easily catches her under the elbow with a crushing left hook to the ribs. Christine felt that and leans forward as Sarah unleashes a big uppercyt that skims of the brunette's gloves and barely misses her chin. Sarah tries some jabs from the top at the leaning opponent but referee separates the fighter and warns Manners about her foul attempts at the back of Bleakley's head. Sarah looks upset and jumps straight at Christine soon afterwards and quickly pushes her into the corner. Left-right combination to the brunette's stomach forces her to lower the guard and Sarah is right there to catch the aching rival in the face. Christine's head jumps back a couple of times as she got hit really hard, but manages to stay on her feet. She covers her guard, but the damage has been done and Sarah is pummelling her in the corner without much response. The bell ends the round that was dominted the blonde Manners.

Round 3:
Christine's face was being worked on during the interval as Sarah gave her a solid bruising in the second round. The blonde Kear's Kats' rookie jumps back from the corner at the start of round three and Bleakley looks in real trouble already. More strong punches force the brunette's back against the ropes and Sarah is making a mess of her early in the third round. The blonde is methodically pounding Christine's stomach and the low-guard isn't working anymore for Bleakley. Half way through the round, Christine can't take this relentless onslaught anymore and slumps on her knees. Sarah tries to hit her as she's crumbling down but misses a straight jab to the head by inches and referee counts the bruised Bleakley to eight before allowing her to continue. Sarah is looking to put her rival away before the round is over and Christine is forced behind her guard all the way until the bell. Manners is looking slightly upset as she has the brunette at her mercy but is unable to knock her out just yet. Christine survives the round in the corner but walks very stiff to her stool and clearly in bad physical shape.

Round 4:
Sarah goes out right from the bell and Christine is brave to even try to continue. She throws a couple of weak punches, but Sarah easily avoids them before stepping to the left and unleashing more low jabs to the ribs. Christine is really feeling the damage Sarah caused to her and she's slow in raising her gloves. A couple of quick steps from Manners and she delivers a lethal combination to Bleakley's head. The brunette's head jumps back and she's lost her balance alltogether. Sarah watches in delight as Christine falls down to the canvas hard with her eyes closed. She's not bothering to get up as the referee counts her out. It is over! KO victory for Sarah Manners!

The blonde walks around the ring with her glove raised high in the air while the medical stuff is still attending the brunette who suffered a very crushing KO. Bleakley finally gets up on her feet after a good minute but she avoids looking at the winner. Meanwhile Sarah looks upon her beaten rival with a spark in the eye.

After the fight Kate Garraway talks to both women ringside:
Kate: Christine, that was very painful. You looked good early on, but then completely fell apart. What happened?
Christine: Perhaps I've underestimated her. She can throw some big punches and unfortunately she managed to do so at my expense. I was looking for much better result than this, but I'll be back. It's only a slight setback for me.
Kate: Now to Sarah Manners. Girl, that was one impressive knockout. Tell us about it:
Sarah: Yeah, so much about me being a jobber. I've been training really hard for my debut and guess I convinced a lot of people I can throw a mean punch. I almost feel sorry for Christine. She looked so confident before and now she's a sore loser instead. But I hope she comes back and wins some fights. However I'm the winner tonight and making the Kear's Kats stable very proud here!
Kate: Well, indeed you have. The Lioness club wishes you all the best in your career and see you next time around!

Final result: Sarah Manners def. Christine Bleakley KO4.
