BEFORE: Something akin to a hockey fight breaks out in pre-fight: girls holding each other's tops while pitching in right hands...hard feelings all around between two tall, headstrong young women. "She's been riding me ever since Wonder Woman," Palicki complains at podium. "Honestly - I've never seen anyone so bitter. For whatever reason, she just can't handle all the success I'm having in and out of the ring - and she sure as hell can't handle that I'm a better actress than her. Best thing I can do for her is to check her out early: maybe if I put her to sleep, she can finally accept reality!" Cole scowling beautifully at mic, eyes flashing in rebuttal. "Don't forget, I took the 'chin-checker' out into deep water and drowned her the last time we fought," Taylor snarls. "I know her now; I put my hand on her heart in that fight, and it's gonna be a whole lot easier to get her to quit this time. Every girl who's ever tried to keep me down - from Jenny O'Dell on - I've buried 'em. Adrienne's gonna find out I'm not just the hottest thing she's ever seen; I'm the best, and I'm taking her belts!" Taylor in purple bikini; black gloves; shiny black hair long/straight. Palicki in green bikini with yellow lozenge print top/solid bottoms; dirty blonde hair in loose ringlets; yellow gloves. When asked to touch 'em up, Cole replies "I'll touch 'em up on her face, ref!"

CHARLIZE THERON the special guest commentator at ringside...CT weighs in on the combatants: "I don't blame Cole for pulling out of our fight," Theron says all reasonable and smiling. "She went from certain defeat to a very winnable fight, with a title belt iin the bargain: do the math! Pallicki is very vulnerable to Taylor - Cole proved that last time out, and Adrianne's going to have to be razor sharp tonight to retain her belts. It is close, and I do think Palicki can win this, but Cole reminds me of Cat Bell in her first year on Jag: trouble waiting to happen!

As for what happens next? Well, I assume that if Palicki retains she'll go with Peregrym, and that seems right to me. But if Cole wins, you've got a real dilemma. Technically, I should be her next fight: I stepped aside so this event could happen - Taylor Cole owes Charlize Theron. I understand Missy has a claim, but I just think that I'm ahead of her on the depth-chart! Certainly, a Cole-Theron title fight puts a lot more money on the table for Taylor, so it's just a matter of where her confidence would be at, if she manages to dethrone Adrianne."

During R1: RIGHT HAND ADRIENNE PALICKI! Clipping cross has Cole pony-trotting on the spot, eyes crimped shut in shock...Adrienne wide-eyed, sensing an early break. Blonde hooks her brunette's breadbasket - checking on Taylor's legs - then feeds her another clouting right up top, pounding at Taylor's guard, moving her sideways. Cole blinking, trying to sort herself: hands in high, tight earmuff; elbows in. Stalking pursuit from Adrienne patient, methodical - she steps-to off the jab; whacks the waist strapping right/lefts - pushing off on Taylor to spoil receipts. Cole defensive, just trying to move frozen legs and avoid Big Hurt, but down the stretch - cranking Palicki hooks to tummy loosen Taylor up just enough for another crashing right to find chin. Cole wrenched a quarter turn to her right - staggering face-first into ropes...bell sounds before Adrianne can close, finish. Palicki with a cheeky wink before turning away...Cole's legs still trembling en route to corner.

R2: Palicki's sledgehammer jab pounding at Taylor's defences, keeping her covered up: blonde girl kisses right crosses off brunette guard to set up come-back, whiplash hook to belly. Good, beefy rips being taken by Palicki hear...Taylor's lips parting as she absorbs body blows, eyes squinting in grimace. Not much back from Cole as she steps around - champ has challenger covered up, hurting and on the take through 2.

R3: Furious whacking body-lather both ways at the open - long-armed fighters just stooping forward to lash up and in at each other - crowd roaring at the sudden burst of meat-clapping violence. Both girls whirl up top with hooks and PALICKI GETS ROCKED! Staggering away from impact on her heels, eyes all moist with how-could-you tears. Cole momentarily on HER heels, then marching forward - jabbing for Adrianne's tummy, then hacking her righty to jaw. Palicki smote, backing into ropes, but firing back: right uppercut kisses Taylor's chin, buzzing her legs. Cole falls in, pushes Adrianne upright, then slops right/left to her waist...brunette pushing in with head and raised elbows to smother receipts. Palicki in swoon, but fighting on instinct: she's pushing-with, looking to lap-back body shots...it's bruising, tall-girl toe-to-toe in a phone booth. Cole finishes up the round with a serious of hatchet chop right hands to Adrianne's left ear, then behind the head. Blonde dazed, butt in ropes as ref jumps in to enforce bell. Palicki badly stunned by rabbit punches...legs shabby as she fails the sobriety test back to her corner, and won't fully recover during the break.

R4: Taylor aggressively at Adrianne - risking the right uppercut to get her chopping short right onto Palicki's jaw. Blonde railroaded to ropes - head lolling dangerously on weak lip: Palicki's eyes glassy, kps parted as she looks to punch for respect. Champ's fists collected at her breasts, eyes blinking: Cole edges in close with left shoulder, lashing wide left hooks in behind Adrianne's right elbow CHUP! CHUP! Blonde girl pushes out woozy left - missing over a side-slipping Cole's left shoulder; Taylor receipts with a chopping short right that puts snaps Adrianne's head right/left. Hook to the gut cramps Adrianne up; hook to the point of the chin locks up her legs, tilts her back into ropes; hacking right hand chops across chin as staring Adrianne goes out on her feet! Blonde's hands dropping, lashes fluttering: Cole hooks the gut; hooks the left breast, bringing Adrianne's left hand down on curling follow through and RIGHT HAND TAYLOR COLE! All-you-could-want right hand crashes across Adrianne's chin...head-snap Palicki then she's drooping forward. Insurance right hand skids across blonde scalp as Pallicki's headed down...Adrianne splashes chest down into canvas as a jubilant Taylor Cole raises hands, leaps away in exultation. That's it - Adrianne Palicki fast asleep on her belly - camera closing in on her face as she lays with left cheek on canvas, lips pursing in swoon...KO4 in avenging fashion, for the winner and NEW lightweight champ, Taylor Cole.

After: Long hard road for Cole ends with the destruction of her most hated rival...Taylor crying tears of joy as she's presented with championship belts. So-called "Best Fighter Nobody's Ever Heard Of" turns the FCBA on its ear...Taylor defiant as she forms up for in-ring interview. "I can't say what makes me happier," Taylor gushes in postfight, "Winning the championship, or putting Adrianne fast asleep on her ho-hum face! I checked the chin-checker! I took her best shots and fed 'em right back to her. She's a quitter: she TOTALLY quit when I refused to go out to her power - all I had to do was prove I could still punch after, and she did the rest for me!" When asked about who's next, Cole's obviously excited. "You know, I'm going to leave that up to my management - I'm stoked either way. Shutting down Missy's hype would be so sweet, and I think other fighters would really respect me after. But denying Theron the belts? I was one of those girls who grew up wanting to do that, so I'd be happy with that too. It might even make sense to make them fight each other, and if that happens, I'd be right there ringside! Any way you slice it though, it's a win for Taylor Cole!"
