Neither woman impressing critics with their success in the ring. Prejean is six years younger with more FCBA fights, but Lima is the 'established veteran' and she's able to boast that she's, "...the 8th most dangerous celebrity on the web; something my opponent can only hope to emulate someday in a distant future; in a galaxy far, far, away; because it won't happen in any galaxy with ME in it!"

Prejean scoffs at the idea and pointedly says, "I only have to be the most dangerous celebrity in the ring and that web stuff is for losers."

While Prejean has a well-earned rep as a "loser" in the FCBA - having won just one of ten fights - Lima has circled the globe, bringing fans the 'thrill of victory and the agony of defeat' as one of the Victoria's Secret Angels. Adriana has boxed, wrestled and otherwise competed with some of the most beautiful models in the world and regarded as a "tough out" by her peers.

Cynics, however, love to point out, "Their combined record is 1-15 and Lima has lost all six of her fights while Prejean has lost her last eight. Want more? Lima has never lasted past fifth round and Prejean has only gone the route once in her last eight."

As if it couldn't get any worse, Jenny McCarthy claims she "taught Carrie everything I know." To which Lima snickers, "...and it probably took all of fourteen minutes." OUCH!

“My FCBA record (0-6) in no way reflects my actual ability,” Adriana insists. “I have many wins over other models but those were in private, away from the media spotlight. No wonder I am doubted by the 'experts.' But this is my big chance; one too good to pass up. This Carrie Prejean person is a hopeless fighter who will look even worse after I have beat her.”

Prejean is beyond incredulous! “She’s 0-6 and she calls ME ‘hopeless'? Lima's just another tall, skinny, underwear model who can't punch a lick. I am so going to enjoy having her for my second FCBA victory.”

Critics already referring to this as "The Futility Bowl” but with both fighters aching for an important win, nobody doubts they'll fight as hard as they can for the victory...maybe harder than a couple of top ten contenders who understand that even if they lose, another fight'll be another coming down the road. For these two, one more loss could put paid to a very short career - so here's hoping we see a rousing contest!

Prejean your generic beauty pageant fighter; possessing good basic skills, knows the fundamentals but has exhibited no imagination nor creativity thus far. Her style is stiff and formal and she gets hit way too much. Lima, on the other hand, is almost a mirror opposite. She's typically Latina in her approach, wild and tempestuous; she fights with her heart, not her head and she hits harder as a result...but her technique is sloppy and her punches lack the accuracy one would want from a woman with her years of experience. Both are flawed fighters, in other words, but that's what makes this such a fun tilt.

Prejean in white lace bra/panties, white stockings and white athletic shoes; Lima in red thong bikini, bare feet. White gloves for both.

During R1: Lima out and aggressive in the early moments; her frenetic punch rate simply overwhelming the more cautious Prejean. Lima amped up, full of adrenaline dominates the punch-stats for the first couple of minutes, but then she gets sloppy and starts missing, allowing Carrie Prejean to jab her way back into the round late, then landing a couple of rights to draw even and earn a tie in the early going.

R2: Carrie Prejean continues her disciplined approach to open the second, scoring with jabs and straight one-twos coming up the middle. Lima brawling with; swinging wide 'n' wild - and doing so with surprising effectiveness! Lima out-hitting Carrie in the final minute to bank the points for the second round and edge into the lead on the scorecards.

R3 Lima picking up right where she left off in the second, battering Prejean back on her heels, then backward across the ring until she jams her tight butt deep in the ropes where Adriana commences to beat her senseless. Prejean coming undone, panicking; blonde crouching face-in-gloves; not doing much offensively until Lima gets arm-weary after exhausting herself and again allowing Prejean to slug her way off the ropes and back into contention. Carrie buffeting Adriana back to mid-ring where the girls stand toe-to-toe and trade mindlessly to the bell! Prejean coming out of the round disheveled after having been seriously rocked, but she's also acting like a real fighter by stubbornly refusing to be dropped.

R4: Lima once more sweeps Prejean before her; once more driving her back to the ropes where she lays siege to the blonde's body. Prejean getting systematically beaten down until she's finally forced to take a woozy knee late! It's a big 10-8 round for Lima who's dominating to this point, looking very upbeat as she imagines seeing her first FCBA victory ahead.

R5: Lima out to finish, attacking Prejean recklessly; spooking her into covering up, then wailing away with both fists to the body. Prejean runs throughout the second minute, drawing Lima out of her stance and disorganizing her in pursuit. A Prejean opportunistic if unintentional low blow hurts Lima - allowing Carrie to transition over onto offense as the brunette model sputters like an out-of-tune Detroit throwback.

R6: Showing supermodel recuperative power, a vengeful Lima comes out firing on all cylinders and chases Prejean down right off the bell. Once she corners her, Lima batters the blonde mercilessly, dropping Prejean in the second minute with a big right hand. Carrie up and reeling to the ropes, steadies only to be subjected to more abuse. Lima uncharacteristically taking her time, using a firm jab to set Prejean up for yet another right. DOWN GOES CARRIE! Prejean dropped for the second time, sprawling flat on her back. Lima, grinning, leans on the ropes as the referee counts, but Prejean showing character fights her way to her feet and convinces the ref she's 'OK' to continue. Lima, too arm weary to finish off her prey, settles for cuffing and bashing at Prejean's body to the bell as Carrie, visibly discouraged; and all but out on her feet, somehow manages to finish the round upright.

R7: As she has in her previous fights, when hurt Prejean loses her composure and Lima scours her along ropes; battering that proud pageant-worthy body. Prejean rocked and socked from the opening bell; going to her knees in the opening minute. She groggily climbs up the referee's leg, leaning her bosom on his arm as she convinces him she's alright to continue. Lima more than happy to oblige, attacking with lusty Latina vigor, rocking Prejean twice with hard rights, the second putting the blonde on her butt. Miraculously, Prejean once again is able to regain her feet but she's a beaten wreck and the crowd is screaming at the referee for allowing it to continue. Fortunately, Lima is apparently eager to get to her victory party and two more rights put an end to Prejean's night as she is put to sleep on her back at 2:40 of the round. Adriana Lima proved to be too violent and too determined for the pageant princess on this night as she poses over Prejean's wrecked body for a few seconds, admiring her handiwork, then spins and gives her long hair a dismissive flip and hip-twitches back to her corner like she's prancing the runway - without so much as a backward glance. Draping her arms over the top rope, she has her corner start removing her gloves as the count is still going on. KO7 Adriana Lima.

After: "Too much Latina heat, baby," a surprisingly unblemished Lima brashly boasts in the aftermath. "Girl's gotta bring more than that to the dance if they wanna salsa with me, hon," she laughs, giving her freshly brushed hair another sexy flip. "I learned a lot from my loss to Kurylenko, a woman who was much better prepared than I. I realized I have to be more aggressive, to use my natural rhythm; to take the lead like man when dancing, not let my opponent lead me. Prejean became easy for me and believe there will other victims for me in the future now that I've learned that valuable lesson. Miller, Swanepoel, Bundchen and the others will fear me..."

Prejean understandably down and dejected after being more or less run over and left in the ditch by Lima's "big girl" attack. "I don't know what's wrong with me," she almost sobbed. "I understand what they're telling me in training, but it just doesn't seem to translate in the ring against an opponent. It's like I have this planned out, but it can't survive first contact with the enemy. I've gotta go back to the drawing board, tear everything down and start over. It's very disappointing to lose to someone like that who can't even beat other models for Gawd's sake...just very disappointing..."
