BEFORE: "To me," Lis tells assembled press corps, "This is a front line fighter - me - banging out a second tier journeywoman." Gasps and crowd buzz as Rohm turns up podium heat. "Mary's a shot, face-first, no-class bar brawler, and I'm a top-echelon blonde. Mary's a handmaiden to Laura Vandervoort, and Laura Vandervoort wouldn't last 10 minutes in my training camp. This is a fight that should be stopped at the weigh in, but this is the FCBA afterall, so they're going to make me hammer this girl senseless before admitting the obvious: Mary Elizabeth Winstead simply isn't in the same rank as Elisabeth Rohm." Winstead understandably stunned: Rohm not known for podium hardball - Winstead fuming, rattled in rebuttal. "Lis is letting her frustration show," Mary says, eyes blazing. "You know - I get that. Down the stretch, Mary just SAVAGING Rohm hooks - spanking the paunch, hooking the tits, clubbing the ear - brunette baring her teeth, ripping away with buns a-ringing. ROHM LOOSENS UP! Lis suddenly deflated - staring as she relaxes into ropes, legs giving way: follow up hooks punch across Rohm's mouth, then work her jugs as ref jumps in at bell!

R2: Hooks from Mary - her right hand tight to her chest as she's getting off cranking lefts. Rohm punched out of her crouch, backpedaling to ropes...Winstead wading in, mitts-at-chest, bobbing into position, straightening up into hook-on-liver behind Lis' right elbow. Blonde girl shows earmuff, butt-in-ropes: Mary: right/left/right slamming action to waist; hook to ear; right hand to ear, then; back downstairs with both hands WHIRLING in leather. Rohm ashen-faced, reaches to pull Mary in behind her head...brunette stymied for a moment, then she pounds away right/left/right to paunch; hooks up top to break the clasp; hooks again to ear, spilling Rohm to her left along ropes. Mary stepping-with - jumping in a pursuit hook up top, driving Rohm into the Bazz corner. Mary: right/left/right to paunch; clubbing hook up top to jaw; right to jaw...Rohm pulling Mary in by her head again, tying up, gasping distraught. Ref about to break, but Mary's rolling her shoulders, slugging at Elisabeth's thighs and belly - brunette soon able to churn herself free and continue her hooking assault on blonde defences! Rohm alternating between desperate peek-a-boo blocking looks or gasping clinches - just trying to slow the Winstead assault. Mary bell to bell on her blonde, fighting her way out of the clinch, keeping herself compact...she beats Lis wobbly-butt with determined onslaught.

R3: Lis with a good stiff jab midring; a snappy hook...Mary backs off a step - curls mitts into her mouth, bobs and weaves her way forward once again. Winstead hooking from the crouch, clouting Lis about the mouth or breasts as blonde-girl's firing back...spirited two-way wallop generally putting Lis on her heels. Fight drifts to ropes - Mary on top: she curls mitts into her breasts, bobs on the spot, works hooks and thudding right hands into Rohm's torso. Blonde grimacing, baring teeth: she's absorbing to the body, then trying to trade righty with Mary up top...Winstead repeatedly caught flush on the chin, but the extra work she's doing carries the round. Bell: Rohm lands a late left hook to Mary's chin; Winstead hooks Rohm's breasts - ref jumps in as tempers flare.

R4: Brace of hooks from Mary, scoring against Rohm's chest/face...blonde punched out of her stance, trying to check-jab while backpedaling. Fight drifts to ropes, Mary on top: Rohm grimacing, trying to clinch and push Mary's head down while putting weight on brunette's back. Winstead wriggling, squirming - when tied up, she moves her hands to Rohm's tummy, working, working, working, then hooking up top to sustain the offensive. Rohm groaning from the constant pounding of her midsection/flanks...blonde output dropping as Lis slumps butt-on-ropes more often. Mary head down, throwing rights and lefts at offending gut, then working her way up-torso to clout Rohm about the ears...blonde girl sputtering to her left under pelting barrage of brunette hooks! Bazz corner - Rohm butt-on-turnbuckle...Mary crosses arms to push Lis upright by her chest, then it's back downstairs right/left/right, thumping and chugging. Rohm badly depleted, pulling Mary's head down: Winstead chugging flurry beats at belly and thighs - drawing warnings, even as Mary's slugging her way into the clear. Hooks crash across Rohm's mouth; slam onto her ear/jaw...she's woozy, loose in her stance, pushing back punches. MORE HOOKS FROM MARY! Double hooks toggle-toggle Rohm's chin; right to the gut cuts power to Rohm's legs...Lis clinches, sobbing, tying Winnie up around head and shoulders. Mary palms blonde hips, shoves Lis into turnbuckles, then works in the grasp to work the belly right/right/left...Lis gasping, clinch loosening and MARY'S HOOKING CHIN AGAIN! Lis falling apart, taking punch after rowdy punch...Mary just standing up in the stirrups, buttocks ringing, torso writhing to whirl in the leather and THE REF STEPS IN! Rohm out on her feet, staring into punishment...TKO4 Mary Elizabeth Winstead in hard-working fashion!

AFter: Winstead roaring, then crowding in close as ref's cradling Rohm to safety...uncharacteristic peck of disrespect as Mary leans in to kiss Lis upside the head - brunette THRILLED to have stopped her blonde this evening. "Lis fired me up," Mary shrugs in postfight, scuffed from well-placed Rohm punches, but jubilant in victory. "She came on strong and I just said - 'ok, let's do this'. I fed her hooks all night, and she just wilted: when I'm coming forward and getting off, I KNOW these girls can't really stand against me!"
