Next up – a couple of flyweights who promise a lot, but deliver very little. This might be interesting, but let’s see if either of them has got what it takes – a defeat for Nadine could put the Kats on their way to a big defeat tonight!

Here they come – Coyle’s taller than White, and she takes her robe off. Yep, she’s got a similar outfit to Harding, and I gotta admit, the girl’s hot, even if she doesn’t exactly fill her bikini out like Harding did. White looks nice, too and to be honest, she’s got the better body, and she’s alright looking.

Round 1

Neat work early on here from White – she’s a bit shorter than Coyle, but she’s damned quick, and she’s rapping those punches into the Irish girl’s body and she sagging already, gets a good one there in the belly, and she’s gone down already, on her knees, coughing like a coal miner, and White looks happy! Coyle’s got up at 6, but she’s getting worked to the body, White’s tactics spot on against a girl a few inches taller than her, and she’s got her hurt, that’s for sure – nice round for the kid!

Round 2

White’s looking pretty hyped up out there, but she needs to get a bit wise, because Coyle’s landing her jabs in the face as she comes in this time – much better from the Irish girl, and she’s got White backing off this time as she stabs her left jab into the kid’s face. In fact, White’s not looking too good now, with Coyle just rapping punches into her face, and she’s beginning to show the marks of battle now, with a bump on her right cheek, and her mouth seems to be leaking blood from somewhere – the kid needs to smarten up quickly!

Round 3

Coyle’s beginning to take control of this, and White can’t seem to find an answer as the taller girl just plants her gloves in her face, with the kid really taking some stick now, and Coyle hurt her then, got a good right hook landing in her mouth, and another – White’s swaying around, and, oh good left from Coyle – yeah, got her – White’s on the mat, flat out – will she get up? Just about, at 8, but she isn’t looking great, and Coyle could finish this off, but she doesn’t press on, and White’s hanging on – literally – she’s getting through the round by hugging Coyle’s body, and the Irish girl can’t land anything on her – poor stuff from Nadine there.

Round 4

Now neither girl seems to be opening up and they’re circling, which should suit Coyle, but she’s letting White inside her reach, and the youngster’s tucking into her body again, reprising the battering she gave Nads earlier, and it’s beginning to weaken the taller girl – she’s a little unsteady on those pins of hers. But Coyle’s fighting back – nice jab to White’s mouth, and another, rocking the kid, who clings on again like she did before, but this time she’s thumping Coyle in the gut, good shots, and she’s hurt her with a right hook to the ribs – she might go down – ah, saved by the bell!

Round 5

Coyle is looking less and less keen now, and here comes little White again, whipping a couple more hooks into the girl’s body, and you can hear her yelp when they land – Coyle is hurt, and she’s down, gritting her teeth and taking a rest on her knees – up at 8, but not happy. Nessa’s knocking her around some more, and Coyle’s just getting ripped up in there, her body really taking it, but now the youngster’s giving her a few in the face, too, and Coyle’s struggling, her lip’s bleeding and she’s getting the treatment from White, who’s bossing this fight, and the Irish girl’s glad when the round’s over.

Round 6

White’s gunning for Coyle from the start this time, and she’s concentrating on the body again – Nadine’s looking weak there, and Vanessa has got her rolling around the ring, desperately trying to keep the little girl at bay, but she’s pouring forwards, and that’s a nice shot, really welting a hook into the Irish liver area, and Coyle’s looking shaky, leaning onto White, but still getting hit. I can’t see her taking much more of this, and the ref’s looking at her to check as he parts them, and she rallies a bit, sticks a nice jab on Nessa’s face there, and another, but she can’t keep running away, and the Saturdays girl’s hurt her again to the body, right on the bell.

Round 7

Fair play to Coyle – she’s trying to box White from distance again, and the kid’s not pleased, but she fires back at Nads, those hooks just slapping into her flesh, and she’s backing away again,
But still getting hit, and that’s another good punch from White, and, yeah, Coyle’s gone down again. The ref’s counting over her – and she’s up, but he’s stopping it – all over for Nadine Coyle!

Vanessa White stopped Nadine Coyle in round 7

I have to say I was impressed with little Vanessa – but Coyle should have done better, should have been able to use her height and reach, and she’s not done her team any good tonight – that was a poor effort from her.
