Here’s the deciding bout, and the former bantamweight champion Una is favourite to win it. She beat Nic senseless when they met last time, although that was the girl’s debut. I just can’t believe Una lost her title to the Dixon b###h! I reckon she’ll sort Roberts out tonight, then whup Dixon good and proper to get it back!

Same outfits for these girls as the past 4 fights, and Nicola’s got a lovely bod to display in that scarlet bikini – better than Una’s in the blue outfit? Nah!

Round 1

Slow start – the girls are testing each other a bit, sticking out a few jabs each, but nothing serious so far. Now Una lands a good one, put Nic’s head back with that jab, and she’s looking downstairs for the girl’s body, and, oh boy, what a punch from Roberts! She’s just flattened Healy with a right hook to the jaw, and the ex-champ’s been decked – up at 6 though, and she’s coming back at Nic, landing to the body again, but keeping her chin tucked in now, as Roberts has to fend her off more as the clock ticks down to the bell.

Round 2

That knockdown seems to be forgotten as far as Healy’s concerned, and she’s giving Roberts’ body a bit of stick here, and the girl’s covering herself well, but Healy’s quick, and her punches have a sting to them – she’s got Nic swaying and writhing there, and she can’t get off the ropes. Una’s playing it cagey though – maybe she hasn’t forgotten that first round punch! The round’s almost over, and Healy has just spent the whole time doffing up Robbo’s body – the girl must be hurting, but she’s one tough cookie, that’s for sure.

Round 3

It’s more hurt for Nic, I’m afraid, as Una thuds her gloves into that bod of hers, just making the girl wheeze and pant as she lands the leather on her, and she’s worked her nicely to the ropes, ready to – aw, not again? Roberts has floored Healy just like she did in the first! Peach of a right hook again, straight in the mouth, and the Irish girl’s on her backside, using the ropes to get up, and yeah, both lips are split – that looks sore! Roberts is moving in on Healy, knows she can hurt her, and she gets her again, across the eye this time, and another, and this might not last long – bell! Lucky, lucky Una Healy!

Round 4

Nic’s looking good now, and she’s looking for Una as the round starts – but Healy is a good boxer – better than the English girl, and she’s recovered from that knockdown, too – she’s taking Roberts to the body again – ribs, gut and tits – all getting a smacking, and Nic doesn’t like it, she’s trying to cover up, but Una’s giving her rack a kind of spattering with short arm uppercuts, won’t put the girl down, but causes discomfort, and Roberts is snivelling at the bell.

Round 5

Una’s quickening the action now, and she’s taking the fight to Nicola – good punch to the mid-section again there, and another – Roberts needs to get out of that corner, and her hands are coming down – not good, Nic! There’s Healy’s right hook, and another, and again! Roberts is down, shaking her head to clear it, but she took some leather there – she’s up, but Una’s taking control, and gives the kid some more pain as she smacks her in the gut with two solid right handers, really making Roberts crumple, and she’ll be gald of the break to regain her composure, I reckon.

Round 6

Nicola’s left cheek is gradually changing colour – really bruising up, but Una’s still softening her up to the body in this round, and Roberts isn’t really defending, she just tries to hit Healy back – she’s sure she can outpunch the ex-champ, but Una’s got her rocking again – that right hook is just taking her apart to the body, and now Healy switches to the head, another right hook to the cheek, then the jaw, and, Roberts just sort of crumples to the floor, knees just wouldn’t stay straight any longer – she’s up, but Healy might finish her off in these last few seconds – no! Irish girl goes for body again – surely she’s weakened Nic enough to knock her out now?

Round 7

Roberts looks very tired and beat up as she comes out this time, and Healy’s not going easy on her – she’s got her backed up to the ropes, and she’s banging her to the gut and the ribs again – I don’t get this! Finish her off, I say! Pretend she’s Dixon and smash her! Una’s got other ideas though, and she’s mauling Nic’s knockers again – maybe she’s just wanting to hurt her? Dangerous game, cos Nic has a punch on her, but just now I don’t know that she can throw one – she can barely raise her arms, and she’s slumped against the ropes at the end of the round, openly weeping.

Round 8

I don’t think Nicola wanted to get off her stool this time, and who can blame her? Una’s peppering her fleshy bits again now, and she’s not really protecting herself – Healy’s setting her up, I think – yep! There it is! Big left uppercut, right on the chin – don’t bother counting ref, Roberts is in dreamland!

Una Healy knocked Nicola Roberts out in round 8.

That’s it! The Saturdays beat Girls Aloud 3 – 2, and boy will they celebrate tonight!
