The third fight of the November Nemesis event features Keisha Buchanan and the recurring Kym Marsh from the Kear's Kats stable. Keisha has lost on points her only BBU fight to date against Liz McClarnon back in August while the raven-haired Kym fights for the second time this year after being out on maternity leave earlier in 2011. Since her return she was knocked out by Sacha Parkinson in the fifth round and looks to make amends for that disappointement and regain the old spark that saw her win three of four fights last year. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Keisha has been very vocal about her chances of winning this bout, calling Kym 'an overrated old bimbo', but if Kym has regained any of her old fitness back, she may cause Keisha a lot of trouble tonight.

Round 1:
After some firecrackers in the previous two fights, this one begins rather quietly with both girls keeping the distace and circling around the ring. Keisha throws some single jabs but they all crash against Kym's gloves. She tries to step in on the older brunette, but Kym shows a lot of composure early on and doesn't allow Buchanan's teasing to get into her. Keisha tries a big hook to the face but it hits Marsh's guard with a loud slap. Suddenly Kym catches her rival under the elbow and straight into the ribs. Keisha doesn't look like she saw that one coming and jumps back immediately as Kym begins to hassle her along the ropes. Single jabs are now landing on Buchanan's guard as Marsh gets more lively in the ring. A good combination to the guts make the younger woman moan in pain as she was too slow to react. Kym closes the distance and pushes her rival along the ropes, looking for more easy punches, but Keisha clinches and survives until the bell.

Round 2:
Keisha comes out aggressive from her stool and catches Kym in the face with a left hook. However Marsh was able to swerve away and only got a small piece of that. Keisha steps in and unleashes a flurry of punches to the stomach which force Kym against the ropes. The older brunette clinches and makes Keisha's efforts fruitless. Nonetherless, Buchanan tries to punch her rival in the back and drags her down to the point Kym's head is buried inside her cleavage. Referee separates the girls and after the action resumes, it's Keisha on the attack throwing a good comination to the head which Kym was unable to cover this time. The crowd is impressed as Kym's head jumps back and forth and Keisha goes hard on her foe's stomach pushing her to the corner. Marsh clinches and leans on the younger girl but still catches a nasty uppercut to the face. Keisha tries to make the most of her advantage but her efforts are stopped by the bell.

Round 3:
Spurred on by the previous round Keisha storms out of her stool again and peppers Kym's guard with solid jabs. Marsh keeps the distance and circles around her opponent as Keisha is getting more courageous as time goes by. She constantly keeps the pressure on Marsh delivering a lot of blows to the body, but hasn't caused a significant damage yet and finally steps back catching her breath. Immediately Kym responds with a nice low combination to the stomach forcing Keisha back and jumps on her inside the final minute. Keisha covers up but Kym's left hook lands straight in the midsection again and Keisha moans in pain along the ropes. Marsh goes for the follow up and unleashes several big blows to the arms and body, but Buchanan's guard stays in tact. Some more happy pounding occurs in the corner with Marsh looking determined to swing the round into her favor but the bell interrupts her progress.

Round 4:
This time it's Kym who starts out more aggressively as catches her rival in the nose early in the fourth. Keisha is stunned and tries to cover up, but Marsh lands another big stiff jabs straight in the jaw. Buchanan rocked out of her comfort zone, hassles in despair to the corner, but realizes her mistake and jumps to the side just in time to avoid Kym's monster hook coming from the right. The Kear's Kats girl looks to have caught a good momentum wave now and begins to chase the local fighter around the ring. A flurry of punches from Kym crash against Keisha's guard, but the Lioness girl makes another mistake and stays rooted to the spot in middle of the ring, allowing Marsh to square up to her and deliver several easy punches. Suddenly Keisha looks lost out there and is taking a lot of punishment. Another left-right combination breaks her guard wide open and Kym catches her with a big left uppercut to the nose. Down goes Buchanan!!! Referee begins the count, but Keisha is very quickly up at five and ready to continue. Kym smiles back and teases her by stepping backwards. Keisha throws a weak jab but steps back too, much to Marsh's dismay. She was hoping to lure her into more trouble. The round ends with Kym starting to get the upperhand.

Round 5:
There's no holding back from Marsh anymore. She has spotted Buchanan's weaknesses and adopts much offensive strategy. A delightful combination sends Keisha to the ropes early on and Kym steps in on her landing several unanswered hooks and jabs. Keisha ducks low and tries to clinch as Marsh pounds her ribs from both sides. Finally Buchanan steps forward and gets her head trapped underneath Kym's elbow who tries to shrug her away. A minot scuffle in the ring with the referee trying to separate them as Keisha is unwilling to break the stalemate. Kym looks angry and hits her in the back several times trying to shove her away. Referee finally breaks them apart and gives the older brunette a warning for her action
- What did I do? - Kym looks surprised as much as anyone and loses her focus after the fight resumes as Keisha catches her in the face with a stiff jab. Kym tries to jump back but her feet get tangled up and she gets caught with another jab in the nose with Keisha scoring some good blows late in the fifth. There's more clinching before the bell as Buchanan manages to land more punches to Marsh's midsection in the proccess. As Kym makes her way to the stool, her nose starts bleeding and she looks really angry with what happened in this round.

Round 6:
Kym's nose is looking good again, but Keisha has spotted the bleeding earlier and tries to catch her rival in the face again. Kym closes teh distance as well and when Keisha misses a left hook, she catches her under the elbow in the guts. Keisha gets rocked by this one and catches a couple more jabs in the breasts before Kym finally traps her along the ropes. A good low combination from the older brunette really allows her to brush Keisha's defence aside and she unleashes another big uppercut to the jaw. Keisha's eyes are shut in no time as she crumbles down on her knees for the second time tonight! Kym watches on the damage she's caused and allthough Buchanan is much slower to get up then the previous time, she beats the count at eight and is ready to continue. Kym's not impressed by her foe's refusal to give up, but maintains the advantage by sending her back to the ropes again. She works on Buchanan's midsection but Keisha leans on her again and clinches in despair. Marsh is really upset now and shows her away against the corner post. However this enables Keisha to keep the distance as she sidesteps along the ropes and back to center of the ring. Kym shakes her head as she's aware of letting her wounded opponent off the hook in this round however she still keeps the scoring judges on her side.

Round 7:
The crowd inside the KO Club is worried about Keisha's chances in this fight. Kym Marsh has dominated the latter rounds and if it wasn't for her lenghty break earlier this year, she might have finished Keisha off already. She suffered a small setback when Keisha squashed up her nose, but that seems all but forgotten now. Indeed Marsh charges out from her stool to start the seventh and immediately overpowers Buchanan with yet another flurry of punches. Keisha tries to get some response, but gets hit in the side of the head after lowering her guard and gets firmly pushed along the ropes. Kym still looking in good shape works on her rival without mercy and Keisha can only cover herslef up and hope for the older brunette to run out of steam. Kym's punches lack some strenght but they are enough to control the fight at this stage. Keisha tries to duck low and clinch but gets caught straight in the face with an uppercut and is very soft on her legs. She leans on Kym, her eyes closed and a face full of pain. Marsh continues the pasting by pummelling her ribs from both sides and now tries to literally drag her back to middle of the ring. Keisha is virtually dead on her legs just struggling to survive. She's hardly scored a punch in this round with Kym pounding her right from the start. There's no knockdown but after the bell Keisha looks like she's definitely had enough and falls down on her stool in all sorts of bother. Trainer Gina Wild tries to give her one final word of courage but as she looks towards Marsh's corner, she sees the raven-haired Kear's Kat nodding her head with a big smile on her face.

Round 8:
There's some confusion in the Lioness corner, Gina Wild wants to throw in the towel, but stable owner Vassago declines. This would have happened for the first time in the KO Club history and the owner decides to spare the crowd this kind of indignity. Buchanan does indeed make it out for the eight but she's hardly moving now, breathing heavily and looking like a walking prey for Marsh. The older brunette steps in on her without much hesitation and delivers a low punch to the guts Keisha's unable to cover. She bends down and exposes herself for the final time as Kym catches her with a couple of hooks to the head. Ten seconds into the round Buchanan crashes down onto the canvas and the referee waves it off immediately!!! TKO R8 Kym Marsh!!!

Post-fight review:
Kym Marsh scored her first win of the year with a brutal destruction of Keisha Buchanan who managed to show some potential in the early rounds, but as the fight progressed, Marsh proved her skills were indeed superior. Few more fights and Kym should regain the old spark and place herself as one of the dangerous floaters among BBU bantamweights. Buchanan needs to work on her killer instinct though, with more experience under her belt, she could have taken advantage of Marsh being still rough on the edges, but failed to take her early chances and paid for it later on.
