Denise van Outen reviews the Beevers Babes fights with Front Street Japan.
Alex Burke v Sayuri Anzu
I’m sorry, but Alex hasn’t performed in the BBU as yet, and this was another bad result for the kid. I liked the look of Sayuri – she’s compact, can box, and has a hard punch! I’d like to see her fight someone a bit better next time around – Mollie King would be a good test!
Gemma Merna v Aya Ueto
I have to say, I’m disappointed with Gemma! She started in a blaze of glory, took the BBU flyweight title – but her confidence is shot! She had this fight won, then ran out of gas! Gemma honey, if you’re going to be a contender, you need to lay off the men a bit! Sex on the morning of a fight? No! As for Aya? Not sure – I’d like to see her fight again though.
Danni Brent v Rei Mizutani
Rei’s a dirty fighter! She won this because she hit Dannielle low, then butted her! Having said that, she can punch, but a stronger referee would have controlled her. Then again – why didn’t he? Yeah, I’ve heard rumours! She’s a porn start, after all!
Samia Ghadie v Rika Ishikawa
Oh Samia! New name – same result! If Samia could fight as well as she talks, she’d be OK! As it is – No! I don’t know why Dave Knowles keeps her in his squad – there are plenty of girls still craving a spot. Again, maybe down to what she’s got between her legs!
Michelle Keegan v Yuu Tejima
I loved this fight, and hope they have a rematch! To me, Michelle is the best flyweight in the BBU, even if she isn’t the champ any more, and I’d say Yuu is the best of the Japanese girls. Time will tell, but I expect to see these girls fighting for the belt sometime soon.
