The German crowd is treated with yet another BBU fight, this time held in the capital city of Berlin. Local favorite Jeanette Biedermann (Lioness Club) has arranged a fight with American Demi Lovato (Foxfire Atlantic Boxing) who has made some ill-tempered remarks over the former's win against Samia Ghadie Smith, whom Lovato knocked out earlier as well. There's seems to be a great deal of pride at stake in this contest as both girls look for their second win in BBU competition and also want to claim a personal advantage over each other in case of victory.
There's no love lost between these two and the fight promises to be a brutal one with loads of bad temper on display in the ring. Demi Lovato has that natural look of envy in her eyes whereas Jeanette Biedermann wants to prove she's worthy of respect despite a slow start to her BBU career.
Both girls enter the ring in a packed Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin and Demi Lovato looks voluptuous in a red one-piece swimsuit with a big American flag on the left side of her belly and a white 'USA' sign just under her breasts. Meanwhile Jeanette Biedermann is wearing a black one-piece swimsuit with red & golden stripes on the shoulders. Before the bell both fighters trade some words in middle of the ring and square up to each other with their breasts locked together but referee pushes them away and waits few seconds before giving the command to fight.
Round 1:
Jeanette looks to stamp the authority in front of the local crowd and throws a big hook to the head straight away. Demi easily jumps away and begins circling around her rival. Jeanette continues in her attempts to step forward and wants to nail the brunette with a big punch early on, but to no avail. Demi enjoys dancing around the German and only throws single jabs just to get her elbows stretched more than really looking to cause any damage. Jeanette ducks low and lands a jab to the stomach that finally pushes the American on the ropes. However before the blonde can follow it up, she weaves to the right and escapes right under Biedermann's flying left hook that nearly had the blonde falling forwards to the ropes herself with all that wasted momentum. Demi laughs loudly at that missed punch and throws a left hook herself that catches Jeanette right under the eye as she only just turned back at Lovato and never had a chance to block that punch off. Demi looks for more damage but the German jumps away to center of the ring and the bell sounds soon afterwards.
Round 2:
Biedermann charges out of her stool to start the second and immediately catches the American with a low hook to the guts. Lovato tries to jump back but her feet get tangled up and she nearly falls backwards alltogether. Jeanette seizes the opportunity and lands a good left-right combination to the head which leaves Demi stunned for a moment. She didn't have time to cover up for that as she was struggling to stay upright at first but the brief rout from the blonde finally stops as Lovato regains her footing and clinches in the center of the ring. Jeanette is visibly fired up by the start of this round and muscles her opponent against the ropes where she looks for more punches to the guts. Lovato leans on her though and prevents the German from causing more damage. Ref steps in and separates them but Jeanette lands a big hook to the head again soon afterwards and Demi is out of her comfort zone for good now. Jeanette moves on her and traps in the corner where she lands more jabs to the body. The American is covering in the corner and looking in trouble, unable to launch any punches on her own. Biedermann clinically pounds the brunette for the best part of a minute but can't break the her down as most punches land on Lovato's arms and gloves. Finally Jeanette gets tired of her fruitless efforts and steps back allowing the US girl to catch a break as well. Just as she moves out of the corner, the bell sounds and Round Two is over with the local girl taking it on points.
Round 3:
Frustrated by the poor showing in the previous round Lovato comes out with her most aggressive approach to date and jumps straight at Biedermann catching her by surprise with a nasty stiff jab right on the nose. The crowd winces in anger as Jeanette's head snapped back after that hit and it's far from being over as Demi unleashes a flurry of jabs to the stomach that the German was never prepared to cover. Lovato suddenly in a different state of mind, her head leaned forward, punching with a lot of intensity and literally making a mush out of Biedermann's stomach muscles. The blonde still stunned, raises her gloves to cover the face, but gets pummelled back against the ropes as Lovato executes other plans to perfection. Jeanette moans in pain after being hit with several good hooks to the stomach and bends forward trying to clinch. Demi takes one step back and lands a massive uppercut to the jaw. However that haymaker crashes against the guard and before she can make another attempt from the right, Jeanette manages to clinch and both girls struggle along the ropes with Demi trying everything to land more punches to the ribs. Biedermann in serious trouble, doesn't allow the break as the referee vigoroulsy tries to shove her away from holding onto Demi's neck. The American grims with little sympathy and throws another hook to the nose after they are restored to center of the ring but Jeanette weaves around and avoids taking more punishment in this round by circling around until the bell.
Round 4:
Lovato looks to built on the momentum she gained in the third and charges out again from her stool, but Jeanette keeps the distance and allows her opponent to waste some energy in fruitless jabbing that barely reach the German's flesh. Demi is very upset and wants to close the distance as soon as possible before dishing out more damage to the local girl. She fakes a low hook and makes Jeanette jump to her left where she nails her with a jab to the stomach before stepping in and unleashing another flurry of punches which push the blonde back against the ropes again. Demi lands a few juicy blows to the blonde's breasts before an uppercut attempt goes wide of the mark as Biedermann swerved away and avoided that one with pure luck more than anything else. Lovato firmly traps her in the coner though and begins another ruthless onslaught catching the German with several unanswered blows. Jeanette's guard finally breaks to pieces and after the brunette nails her with a left-right combination to the cheek, she goes down on her knees and the crowd gets silent in no time. Demi glances without sympathy as Jeanette gets up at seven but the German's face is flashing all kinds of red, matching Lovato's swimsuit color. Indeed, the American's rout continues all the way until the bell as she repeatedly pummels the local girl in the corner but is unable to knock her down again despite all the efforts. Nonetherless Lovato takes second round on the spin and seems to settle in well on the enemy's ground tonight.
Round 5:
Lioness Club's trainer Gina Wild is shouting during the interval and urging her girl to focus and stop waiting for Lovato's attacks to end. Jeanette shakes her head and allthough still looks shaken by the previous two rounds, she moves forward on the US girl and throws a flurry of punches that force Demi to cricle away and drop her aggressive approach for a few seconds. However just as Biedermann stops moving forward, in she comes and looks to land a big right hook to the side of the head, Jeanette just manages to swerve around it and responds with a low jab to the ribs. Demi felt that one and looks to sidestep into center of the ring, but Jeanette goes for the follow up and catches her in the jaw with a nasty uppercut. Lovato's head snapped backwards and before she covers up, Jeanette lands a left hook to the nose as well. The crowd is on their feet again as suddenly the local girl throws more jabs to the stomach forcing the American to cover up and retrieve back along the ropes. Jeanette contines her attack working around Demi's guard. Lovato very relaxed on her legs though; tries to circle away from trouble, but gets rocked with another uppercut to the face albeit that caught more of the gloves rather than the face itself. Jeanette leans on her rival and pins her to the ropes, but Demi ducks low and wraps her hands around the blonde's waist before Jeanette laces her in the back with an angry jab. Referee separates them and gives the local girl an official warning. Biedermann looks to cause further damage to the visitor, but before she can launch any serious attack again, the bell calls the round a day.
Biedermann/Lovato Part 2

Round 6:
Both girls breath heavily in their corners as the fight enters it's second half. Biedermann's face is still quite swollen but Demi's nose also starts flashing the red colors as she took a couple of big hits in the fifth. Nonetherless the American wants to deck her rival for the second time and make sure that she doesn't get up anymore. An aggressive flurry of jabs from Lovato keeps the German at distance but after a brief circling around, Biedermann sidesteps and throws a good hook underneath the elbow that catches the visitor in the ribs. Demi unfazed by this one steps forward and forces the blonde against the ropes but Jeanette stands up to her and they begin a vicious punching trade-off. Brunette nails her rival in the stomach but gets threated with a flying hook to the side of the head that make her knees soft. Jeanette sidesteps again and begins pounding the American with more efficiency unloading several jabs to the chest and head. Demi can't keep up with this onslaught, ducks low and cover up as Biedermann pushes her back to center of the ring and continues pummelling her without any response. A number of punches crash off Demi's guard but quite a few land right on the brunette's face which sees her head jumping back & forth. Despite a huge advantage in this exchange, Jeanette is unable to find that one haymaker and send the US girl crashing down on the canvas. Inside the final seconds, Lovato gets pinned against the corner but the German still can't finish her off and shakes her head in frustration after the bell. Demi has survived a tough round, but looks much worse to wear than her opponent and literally slides on the stool catching her breath with difficulty.
Round 7:
Gina Wild encourages her fighter to continue the attacks as Demi has shown a lot of vulnerability in the previous round. Jeanette nods her head and comes out again looking to dominate the seventh as well. A nice stiff jab to the nose expose Demi's slow moving guard and Jeanette follows it up with another jab to the head. Demi takes this one as well and jumps back, trying to survive along the ropes. Biedermann begins to hassle her around the ring and looks for an opportunity to close in and cause more damage. Demi's envious glance seems to be not there anymore as she's staring at her opponent with much serious look on her face. Jeanette wastes some time in fruitless jabbing before finally stepping in with a sudden rush of fury. Lovato tries to jump back but gets trapped along the ropes; Jeanette nails her with a big hook that lands on the forearm, but an uppercut follow-up nails the American right on the jaw as her right glove was slow to move up. Down goes Lovato along the ropes! Jeanette jumps back and watches her rival struggle to get up, but Demi eventually beats the count at six and waives her gloves in anger. Referee allows her to continue, but it's Biedermann who follows up with her attacks, pummelling the American back against the ropes again. Demi leans forward and tries to clinch. She takes another couple of jabs to the chest before finally wrapping her arms around the German's neck. After a brief struggle she tries to lean her head on the blonde's eye and it's suddenly getting very vicious along the ropes as Jeanette laces her in the guts which appeared to be somewhere below the waist line. Both girls are furious and start to insult each other as the referee seems to be confused of what has just happened. Lovato with a sudden rush of blood to the had, pushes the blonde away and nails her in the eye with a big left punch. That almost tore Jeanette's eyebrow wide open! The German rushes back to the ropes as Demi throws a couple of chaotic jabs to the head again. The bell sounds signals the end of the round, but the fracas in the ring continues as both girls wrap their arms around each other and wrestle themsleves to the ground. The crowd is on their feet as Lovato pins Biedermann on the ground and hits her in the face with a brutal punch. Ref grabs her arm as she swings for the second time and it's almost a MMA fight going on as Lovato has no intentions of letting her rival free! Finally she gets muscled away and escorted back to her stool while Jeanette gets up and sports a huge gash on the eyebrow. That punch did tore up her eyebrow and now it's getting very vocal in the Lioness Club's corner as Gina Wild demands Demi Lovato to be disqualified! Some heated war of words is going around the ring judges' table while the cutmen attend Bidermann's wound who gets patched up after a couple of minutes. There's a long delay before the eight as the judges still ponder Lovato's DQ. Finally they decide the deduct her a point for illegal punch outside time limits, but Gina Wild is furious with that decision. Meanwhile the American's coach, Sophia Myles keeps her girl calm in the corner and makes sure she keeps her focus and temper in tact before the deciding rounds. It's not over yet!
Round 8:
The crowd demands Jeanette to punish her foe and starts yelling "We want blood, we want blood". The atmosphere inside Max-Schmeling-Halle is boiling beyond the limits and back in the ring, Biedermann begins another attack with a swift hook to the ribs which forces Lovato back. The German has been treated with no less than five stitches on the eyebrow and if looks could kill, she'd have Demi Lovato left frying on the pan already. The intensity contiues as the US girl responds with a good combination to the stomach and it's almost another punching trade-off in the making until Jeanette loses her footing and stumbles on the ropes. Demi hasn't jumped quickly enough to take advantage as the ref steps in and pushes her back, allowing the blonde to regain her position. Lovato shoves the ref away and lands a good hook to the head, Jeanette tries to circle away from danger, but gets rocked with a couple of jabs to the stomach. Demi in aggressive mood again, landing clinical punches to the head and body as Jeanette covers up and tries to clinch. The brunette has none of it, steps back and almost has the German falling forward. She nails her with another hook to the head and pushes against the ropes where she delivers more strong blows to the midsection. The crowd gets sonewhat silent as they witness their girl take a lot of punishment. Lovato almost makes this one too easy for herself as she pounds all over the blonde's guard looking to force a technical stoppage. However she can't make it stick. Jeanette jumps to the side and allthough she remains covered up, Lovato just can't land a good combination anymore that could send her spirralling down on the canvas. Demi reverts to constant jabbing at the aching blonde and secures a vital round on points as coach Wild is furious with her girl who made a crucial mistake, losing her footing early on, which allowed the American to counter and dominate the round.
Round 9:
During the interval Demi shows some signs of fatigue, we've heard she hasn't gotten rid of her smoking habit yet, but coach Sophia Myles gesticulates wildly at her and the US girl seems to regain that envious spark in her eye. Off we go into the ninth and Demi latches on immediately as Jeanette looks to be still stunned by the previous round. She catches the German with a low hook to the ribs and moves forward again as the blonde quickly forces the clinch despite taking another blows to the body. Jeanette begins to moan and her stamina is also under question at this stage of the fight as she responds with weak jabs to the chest as both girls continue to be locked together. Referee wants to separate them but the girls are shoving each other with so much intensity they literally bounce off the ropes and slip through the ref's hands. Finally the man in charge shakes his head in disgust and allows the two fighters to settle their battle for supremacy themselves. Jeanette leans forward with her head and punches Demi to the back of the head, ref has none of it though and as the American cringes in pain, she gets nailed in the chest from the other side. Biedermann manages to push her to the corner and pinch her back against the pole pressing with her breats against Lovato's chest. Demi's arms are getting weak as she tries to hit the blonde in the back, but there's no strenght behind those shots and she just wraps her arms around Jeanette's waist. It's almost a stalemate in the corner but the local girl looks to land some punches under the American's elbow. Finally the referee gets tired of the lack of action and drags both girls to center of the ring. Biedermann seems too tired to protest the fact she's been deprived of a better position for no apparent reason. Lovato looks much more exhausted though and the corner pole has really sunk into her kidneys during that struggle. Girls stare at each other with venom in their eyes, but the tanks are almost empty on both sides and this fight may indeed go the distance.
Round 10:
Both girls almost dead on their legs, Biedermann still with the stitched eyebrow while Lovato's face looking somewhat better despite a swollen cheek on the left. Neither of the corners is convinced on the judges verdict so both Gina Wild and Sophia Myles urge their girls to give it one more try. Jeanette steps in and throws a weak combiantion, but Demi's arms are not getting up in time and she gets caught in the chest before Biedermann makes another step forward and catches her in the side of the head with a half uppercut. Demi really struggling for breath now as the local girl pushes her against the ropes and tries to follow up with more vicious jabs. However Jeanette is also very tired and lacks the speed neccessary to put her rival away. Both girls revert to clinching with Biedermann trying to drag Lovato's arms as low as possible. Demi leans on her and places her head on her shoulder, trying to hit with the left hand in the ribs. Jeanette cringes in pain as even the weak punches are causing trouble now, but Demi is unable to throw any solid combination and force the blonde down on the canvas. There's nothing left in their lungs anymore but inside the final minute, Jeanette manages to lock Demi's right arm under her elbow and catches her with a counter-punch to the nose... one.. two.. three... punches land on the American's nose before she raises her free arm and covers up... Lovato in all kinds of bother now... Jeanette presses her against the ropes and lands another vicious jab... Lovato's nose is taking a pounding here and sure enough... Jeanette has busted Demi's nose up.... It's a mess, there's blood pouring from the American's nose and she's sobbing in pain... Twenty seconds to go and the ref folds his arms around his chest... both girls rooted to the spot along the ropes with Jeanette jabbing slowly at the brunette's ribs while Demi just leans on her with no signs of life in her teenage body... Everyone awaits the bell and there it goes.. The fight has ended and we'll have to wait just a little longer for the final verdict.
Jeanette walks away to her corner looking both tired and unsure of the final verdict, that eyebrow really looks bad and will require more stitches before her next fight. Demi has had the plug pulled on her in the final round... she barely makes it back to her stool, ignoring the bloody nose she's been handed in the final minute. After few seconds she finally realizes her injury and covers her face in hands before the cutmen stop the blood flow and make her look good enough to walk back to the ring again for the final verdict. Here it comes then...
After ten round of boxing we go the scorecards... the judges score the bout 96-94, 96-95 and 96-94 all in favour of the winner... JEANETTE BIEDERMANN!!!
Post-fight:
Jeanette Biedermann raises her fist in delight of the final verdict and looks on the fallen rival with a big smile on her face. Meawnhile Demi Lovato has dropped her head between her shoulders with her hair covering the face. Jeanette walks towards her and grabs her by the hair to unveil the loser's face and it's not a pretty one. Demi's nose is all busted up and the envious look has vanished from her eyes. Jeanette wants the US girl to admit she owns both her and Samia Ghadie Smith. Demi has truly had enough for tonight and battles the tears but finally admits, that the German blonde is a better fighter than both her and Samia. Jeanette's smile has gotten even bigger as Demi walks back to her corner before quickly vanishing in the locker room. Meanwhile Jeanette is on the phone already calling to Samia Smith who's licking her wounds after yet another KO loss in Cardiff few days ago to a newcomer from Japan. The nature of that conversation remains private, but there's little doubt that more insult has been rubbed into Samia's recent injuries.
Apart from settling the internal feud against Samia and Demi, Jeanette hopes that these back-to-back wins earn her a chance to compete in the undercard for the upcoming BBU title bouts event in January.
