The third fight of the Lioness Club vs Kear's Kats Vol. 2 event features the Spanish vixen Pilar Rubio and the equally eye-catching Welsh starlet, Imogen Thomas. Stable owner Alli Kear has praised Thomas as one of her future stars and there's a lot of hope pinned on Imogen who is supposed to dominate the bantamweight division in the upcoming months. Pilar Rubio is a determined fighter herself and should provide an excellent test for Thomas' highly-touted prospects. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Both girls square up to each other before the bell and throw some jabs to their breasts and the ref separates them already. The tempers are flaring early on and this could turn very ugly for the loser.

Round 1:
Both girls step forward immediately and throw solid hooks almost simultaneously. Pilar nails Imogen to the side of the head, but the Welsh girl catches her rival in the nose as well. Pilar slightly less shaken, follows up with a couple of jabs to the midsection and pushes Thomas to the ropes where she unloads more punches to her foe's tummy. Imogen covers up and the crowd cheer on as Rubio lands some vicious jabs to the body. Imogen finally ducks low and clinches on Pilar's breasts as the Spanish girl tries to lace her opponent to the back as Imogen bends forward. Ref steps in and separates them and Imogen has shrigged off the early gremlins as she lands another hook to Pilar's nose before the Spaniard had a chance to create something on her own. Pilar jumps back and circles around as Imogen tries to land another solid punch but she can't get it done before the bell. Advantage Rubio so far!

Round 2:
Pilar storms out of her stool for the second and jabs her rival a couple of times to the stomach but there's not enough strenght behind those punches. Imogen jumps back but throws a counter hook that skims off Rubio's cheek. Both girld circle around for few seconds before Pilar jumps up to her rival, unleashing a low hook to the guts. Imogen blocks that with a low guard and responds with a massive hook to the side of the head. Pilar wobbles and stumbles to the side as Imogen misses a sitter to the jaw as Rubio leaned on her to clinch. Imogen laces her rival in the back of the head and sends Pilar on her knees. Referee is right there and helps the local girl to get up and gives an angry warning to the Welsh fighter for throwing an illegal punch. The crowd begins to whistle as they don't like Thomas' antics in the ring. However Imogen looks unmoved by all this and begins some high-octane jabbing which pushes Rubio against the ropes. The bell saves Pilar from serious trouble though as Imogen started to get the upperhand despite a rabbit punch coming to her aid.

Round 3:
Rubio looks somewhat concerned during the interval and remains upset over that punch to the back of her head. She has no time to think about it for much longer though as Thomas jumps up to her immediately after the bell and throws more jabs to the stomach. Pilar's low guard begins to crack as Imogen lands a couple of juicy ones and makes her opponent cringe in pain. Thomas changes her target and nails Pialr in the jaw with a fine uppecut. The Spanish girl is pushed to the ropes again, but escapes in the last second as Imogen was going for another haymaker to finish her off, but misses it by inches. Pilar begins to circle around the ring, as the Welsh girl weaves from side to side and teases her with dropping her gloves alltogether. It looks like Imogen has gotten into Pilar's head with a couple of big hits and the Spanish girl seems more than just worried. Imogen fakes a forward move and nearly has Pilar tripping over her own legs as she tries to jump away into safety. The round is over soon and Thomas starts to dominate this bout.

Round 4:
Lioness Club head trainer Gina Wild notices the fight turning into a wrong direction and urges Pilar to step it up and not wait for Thomas' attacks. However as she comes forward and tries to land a hook to the head, she gets surprised with a low jab to the stomach before another one lands on her breasts. Pilar covers up and steps back as Imogen throws another combination that crashes off Rubio's gloves. Thomas is hardly concerned and quickly continues with her aggressive display. She pushes her opponent against the ropes with another set of jabs to the body before breaking through Pilar's guard and landing a nasty stiff jab on the chin. Rubio bends down and looks to clinch just as Imogen nails her with a couple of hook to the cheeks. Pilar in all sorts of bother now, looking for survival but Imogen senses some blood and further backs her against the ropes. More aggressive and painful jabs to the ribs make Pilar bend down in agony as Thomas nails her in the jugs with a fine uppecut. Legs give way for the Spanish girl and she's down on her knees!!! Ref starts the count as Pilar struggles to get up but eventually beats the count at seven looking sore and busted up. Imogen jumps on her immediately after the command is given to fight again and she catches the aching Rubio in the chest but an uppercut haymaker crashes off the gloves and Pilar clinches, doing just enough to survive until the bell. However her face is badly swollen at the end of the round as Imogen really worked her over in the fourth.

Round 5:
Crowd is buzzing in anger as their girl is receiving some hard treatment tonight. Things aren't getting any different at the start of the fifth as Imogen pours more unanswered jabs on Pilar's aching body. The Spanish girl gets easily pummelled into the corner where her Welsh foe catches her in the ribs a number of times. Rubio tries to clinch but gets rocked with a huge uppercut to the nose and covers up in agony as Imogen continues to pummel her without any mercy whatsoever. It's almost all over bar the shouting but here comes the ref and checks on Pilar's condition. There's blood pouring from her nose and it's really getting ugly. Imogen is frustrated and demands the fight to be stopped already. However cutmen are patching up Rubio's nose and the doctor is called to give his word as well. It looks fine for now and after a brief delay the fight continues. Thomas immediately throws a couple of big hooks to the head, but Pilar has regained some strenght during that medical time-out and weaves away from trouble. Imogen almost in a red-mist mode desperately trying to finish her wounder rival off. She unleashes several jabs to the face again, but Pilar either blocks them off or circles away into the distance. The cat and mouse game lasts until the bell and allthough Thomas is furious afterwards, Rubio can't survive in this kind of shape for much longer.

Round 6:
Pilar's nose is being more patched up by her cutmen and she barely makes a step forward to start the sixth. Thomas keeps up the aggression though and squares up to her in no time. More ducking and weaving from Rubio but she gets nailed in the jugs before receiving a couple of more jabs to the stomach which push her to the corner. Thomas sets her up well and although Pilar raises her gloves, the Welsh girl finally breaks through them and lands a massive stiff jab to the nose! Pilar winces in pain and before Imogen delivers a follow up, ref is right there to stop her! Pilar's nose is in a terrible shape now and the doctor shakes his head ringside. Pilar walks slowly to her corner and the doctor glances at her before giving his final opinion. Ref has no other option but to call this one off. TKO R6 Imogen Thomas!!!

Post-fight:
Impressive win for Imogen Thomas who mercilessly busted up Pilar Rubio's nose and had numerous chances to finish her off earlier in the fight as well. The general reception in the KO Club is that Thomas is indeed one to look for in the future and Alli Kear has a true star in the making in her stable. Imogen celebrates her victory by walking around the ring with her fist raised high in the air as Pilar is escorted back to the locker room to have further checks on her nose. She produced a good opening round tonight but was pushed into serious trouble ever since then and never recovered. Kear's Kats pull one back and trail 1-2 at half-way stage of the event.
