OK, bantamweights next, and it’s the Welsh glamour girl and wannabe WAG against Bournemeouth’s own seaside belle, Leilani, who’s career seems to be having a renaissance since Foxfire Atlantic signed her up – Marvin Fox is a big fan of hers, I know, so maybe with the right guidance she can be more of a contender. We shall see…

Imogen has been a little bit mouthy, typically before this fight, and upset Leilani at the weigh in by calling her a jobber, so they don’t look at all please to see each other – I think the male fight fans are happy, though, with Imogen in a scarlet bra and panties, befitting a girl from Llanelli, and Leilani in a pink silky, black lace edged bra and panties – she’s still got it, that’s for sure, but can she beat Ms Thomas – we’ll soon find out!

Round 1

Nice start from Dowding, landing some neat shots in Thomas’s gut there, and the Welsh girl looks distressed – Dowding can punch, that’s certain – but back comes Thomas, firing jabs into Dowding’s face, and skimming a hook right across the chops there – Dowding’s hurt by that, and on the ropes, with Thomas coming after her looking for more – good one, two from the Welsh girl, batting Dowding’s head back, and she’s trying to set the older model up for a big shot – too soon! Dowding sees what’s happening and she counters beautifully, slamming punches into Thomas’s body, and now she’s bothered her, and, oh yes, Leilani! Lovely right hook to the jaw sends the younger girl down, and she looks stunned as she sits there, taking a 7 count. Not long to go, luckily for Imogen, as she’s not sure what to do here, and Dowding’s hurting her to the body as the close the round down – one to her.

Round 2

Dowding’s quick out of the trap here, and she comes looking for Thomas, and finds her – well, finds her gloves anyway, because Thomas is thumping her really well in the early stage here, sending Dowding backwards at a fair old rate, I’m afraid, and the girl’s on the ropes her in every sense, with busty Imogen thudding major punches into her poor face, and she’s bruising up like a peach at the moment from what I can see – trying to clinch, but the Welsh girl’s damned powerful, and she’s just bullying Dowding there, the girl’s head ragdolling around - don’t know if she’s glad to hear the bell or not!

Round 3

Thomas is right in there again, belting Dowding’s face like she wants to take her head off – brave girl fro staying in there, Leilani, but you’ve got to hold on and clinch, girl. No – Thomas nailed her – right in the mouth with her right hand, and Leilani’s on the canvas, fair play, up at 6, but her lips are smeared with blood, and she’s taking more, with Thomas banging three left hooks into the side of her head, one after another – Dowding’s trying to counter punch, but Thomas is on a mission here, trying to finish her off quickly, and, here we go, final seconds, Dowding’s trapped on the ropes, yep, Thomas fells her again – left hook, smacked it on her cheek, and Leilani slides down the ropes – there’s the bell, the count goes on, and she’s up, but should this go on? Not sure!

Round 4

I have to say, I don’t think Leilani’s fit to continue here, but out she comes, walking into the fist storm that is Imogen Thomas – the Welsh girl jus opening her stance up, not bothering with a guard, and ripping into Dowding – that’s it, I think! Big right flattens Dowding, and she’s not moving – don’t count - get a doctor!

Imogen Thomas knocked Leilani Dowding out in round 4.

Poor Leilani – she was out cold for a while, but she’s alright – she’s not going to be looking in the mirror for a while, though – Imogen’s bust her face up pretty bad!
