BEFORE: "Would Ashley Tisdale have hit Claire clean on the chin and knocked her out five years ago?" A provocative Milian asks at podium. "I don't think so. Claire Danes is obviously slowing down, and we're getting to her now. Fighters're hitting Claire hard now - she's always been one to get outworked, but she's also getting blitzed these days, and that's bad news for her. You guys think I'm a big underdog, but check it: best combination puncher in the lighter ranks WITH big-jolt power...that's me. I'll get on Claire, work her sleepy, and check her the hell out - you watch!" Danes brushing off the speculation that Tisdale's thunderbolt was anything other than luck...she's her typical confident self in rebuttal. "Look - Milian's got under-rated skills, and I know the HISC board likes her looks, but I think we all know how this ends. Chrissy comes out smokin', spends up her money trying to find me, then I pick her apart and make her quit inside the distance. I write the scripts; she follows 'em. She'd like to think that I'm getting a little older, a little slower, a little more complacent, but that just isn't happening. Give HISC credit - the moment they even suspect one of its assets is slipping - BOOM: they sign Portman and Kunis. Maybe if it was still just Mish in the 2-spot, I'd be complacent, but it sucks for Milian that's she's making her move now and not then!" Milian in red/white horizontally barred bikini; small white gloves; hair in low ponytail with ringlets framing face. Claire in lavender yoga sport top with thin bra-style straps; black low-riding boy leg trunks; small black gloves; blonde hair in short gym-rat ponytail.

During R1: Claire supple-stepping to her left, pivoting and turning, presenting a coiled, counter-punching front behind a pawing, rangefinding jab. Milian boppin' about - hands low, hands high - big grin on her face...she's looking to skip in and get off via slashing combos. Cat and mouse first minute: when Claire misses, Chrissy chirps trash like: "Too slow!" Milian penetrating in second-minute pounces, lathering furiously at Claire's ribs until blonde can disengage. Down the stretch, Danes salts away a close heat with a series of set-piece counterpunches - neatly hooking or left-uppercutting Milian on the chin while pivoting-vlockwise, then jabbing Chrissy back out to long range. Bell: Milian cocky, tapping herself on the chin while mugging at Claire; Danes with a withering look in receipt, doesn't take the bait.

R2: Same dispositions...Claire more supple-stepping and coiled in aspect; Chrissy boppin', rolling her hands, jinking in and out. Minute mark, Milian on the pounce...she eats a RINGING left uppercut counter to chin as Claire times Chrissy to perfection! Milian: eyes wide; legs spasmy-weak; hands out front, pawing air like a blind-girl trying to find a wall. Danes slides back in - slots a pinpoint, poking straight right from her shoulder to right side of Chrissy's chin, pushing it aside: Milian's muscular backside shuddering with the effort of keeping Chrissy upright. Another poking right pushes at Chrissy's chin; lathering left cuts across Milian's liver - Claire chopping the punch with a palm-up hacking stroke. Chrissy whining, cringing forward all bent-over at the waist...calm-Claire looks things over while touching her mitts at Chrissy's overhanging scalp, then dips left shoulder; fits precision left uppercut in behind Chrissy's right elbow, cutting power to Milian's legs. Christina plunging to her knees-and-cheek, hugging her body and crying as she tries to shake it all off. Claire gazing down with contempt on the strut past to neutral corner...Milian blubbering, fights her way to all fours, but just can't get off her knees. Stunning KO2, Claire Danes.

After: Danes not known for power, but she's an accurate puncher with exquisite timing...she finishes Milian with jaw-dropping clinical precision. Danes heartless, cold-eyed as Pack-and-Swan dutifully hustle a blubbering Milian into the HISC corner, stacking her for inspection. Claire to Eliza's left - girls wrap an arm 'round each other's back to form a kind of Rugby-scrum, then DRIVE forward into Milian's gut via double-shoulder block! Chrissy sobbing in pain, doubling over as butt is driven in over middle turnbuckle - Eliza's head in snug beside Chrissy's left hip; Claire's head bracketing the right. Milian sorted, re-stacked as the pack-mates push off, then Claire mounts, gripping the hair at Chrissy's hairline to rub face back and forth against all-conquering tummy. HISC girls high-fiving and clapping - Mila and Nat bumping hips as they dance side by side on the spot - Kristin shouting "Get 'er, Claire!" - girls just enjoying the show. Danes unusually rough with Chrissy - at times holding hair in the left hand to push Milian's head back atop the corner post while slapping the up-turned face crisp right hands...Chrissy's hands pushing up into Claire's stomach as Milian's face goes stunned-blank. Christina obviously getting under Claire's skin in this one - Milian pays the price for a successful psy-op.
