BBU BOUT: GIRLS FRIDAY HQ. BATH, ENG, UK

The first fight on the bill sets the gorgeous 21 year old Emily against the toothy 27 year old Nikki at flyweight.

Emily has been keen to enter BBU for a while, but she has a prickly personality, and is too easy to fall out with, and mentor Claire King must work hard to keep her under control, whereas Nikki has also got a reputation for being ‘difficult’ – and a record which initially looks poor, until closer inspection shows that, with the possible exception of her defeat by Cheryl Cole, the girls who have beaten her have shown themselves to be pretty damned good.

The girls arrive in the corners, Nikki in a black bikini, Emily in pale blue. Gorgeous bodies on the pair of them – no question.

Round 1

Neither girl landing much at the start, just shaping up, sizing each other up, poking out jabs, but making little contact as yet.

Emily looks to be settling in mid way through the round – she’s finding her range and she looks quick – quicker than Nikki, anyway, and she’s definitely landing more punches at this stage.

Final minute belongs to Emily, the young girl scoring well with a more aggressive style than Nikki at this point, boxing her from a distance though – she’ll need to get in closer if she wants to hurth her opponent.

Round 2

Good early assault from Emily – and she’s beginning to trouble Nikki already, her left jab causing some early swelling to her cheek, and she lands a right hook, too, which sends Nikki tripping backwards.

Emily is after Nikki in the middle part of the round, and she finds her with that left jab again, and the right hook over the top follows up, Nikki’s unsteady after that punch, takes another, and she’s down, down in the second round, but ready at 6.

Emily’s hurt Nikki now, and she wants to get this over by the looks of her – she’s really working to Nikki’s body as she gets the older girl up against the ropes, and she is just in total control in this her debut fight.

Round 3

Nikki’s game, and she spoils and frustrates Emily in the early part of the round, even though she has a big bruise on her right cheek, but she’s protecting herself well, and Emily can’t get into her as yet.

The round progresses, and Emily’s getting closer, but that’s allowing Nikki to retaliate, and she hurts the pretty blonde with her own left hand punches, and sends her spinning backwards.

Emily’s in trouble now, as Nikki starts to unload with her a little trapped on the ropes, and a stunning right hook to the lips has her bleeding, her bottom lip’s split open, and she’s not happy with life just now.

Round 4

Nikki starts the round well, wanting to carry on with her pressurised boxing, and she lands the better early punches, making Emily cover up and guard herself tightly.

The middle of the round follows the same pattern, except Emily is retaliating a little better, still taking punches, but starting to push Nikki back a tad.

The final minute is Emily’s as she gets that accurate jab of hers working into Nikki’s face, landing on her damaged cheek, and it’s looking pretty sore and swollen by the time the bell rings for the end of the round.

Round 5

Despite taking some punishment late in the fourth, Nikki is still well up for this, and she lands some shots to Emily’s body early on, her gloves smacking into the younger babe’s fleshy bits.

Emily’s looking cocky though, and, after weathering a little storm form Nikki, she’s back on the offensive, her jabs whipping the other girl’s head backwards a little too regularly, and she starts to sort her out to the body again with her right hook.

That right hook is sapping Nikki, and she’s dropping her guard to protect herself, but low gloves are dangerous, and Emily belts her to the head – a swift and painful wipe of left and right hooks across her features have Nikki looking vulnerable by the end of the round.

Round 6

Emily has Nikki hurt immediately on the resumption, her right hook to the ribs has got her twisting about on the ropes, and she pops another one into her face, and down goes Nikki, sat on her backside against the ropes.

Nikki gets to her feet at 7, but Emily’s giving her another beating and she just can’t get off the ropes – she tries to clinch, but an uppercut sends her backwards, and she’s cut – her left cheek has a nasty little cut, which will need treatment, and with her right cheek all swollen, she looks bad.

Emily shows no mercy, and she barrels into Nikki, picking her punches well, landing on both damaged cheeks as and when she feels like it, and Nikki is lucky to make it through the round

Round 7

Nikki isn’t steady at all as the round starts, and Emily stuns her straight away with two hard right hooks, then she slams her left into the girl’s body, before putting her down for a third time with another right hook.

Nikki’s up at 8, but she isn’t in any state to carry on with this, and the referee quite rightly stops the fight.

Emily Atack wins her debut fight beating Nikki Sanderson by a stoppage in round 7.
