Before: Gellar and Packard matched yet again--both yearning for decisive victory so as to separate from this particular dance partner. “I’m sick of Sarah’s face,” Kelly tells reporters, “I’m sick of her voice. I’m sick of her attitude. I’m ending this now--Sarah Michelle Gellar’s been an obstacle to me for far too long. I’m moving past her, and she’s going down--that’s all there is to it.” Gellar singing a similar tine--desperate to batter Packard and step ahead of her, “Kelly and I both want the same thing, so I think this will be an exciting fight. And the thing is: Kelly can’t win an exciting fight with me, She can box with me--she can play chess with me all night long, but to knock me out like she wants, she’s going to have to open it up, and I’m better at full throttle. I’m going chin on Kelly until she’s out: no other solution is acceptable to me!” Gellar in slick blonde ponytail, sturdy black bandeau with white border, small black workout gloves. Kelly bin lavender sport bikini, small white workout gloves, hair in scruffy ponytail with bangs. Neither girl offers to touch gloves despite ref’s command to do so.
During R1: Kelly dukes up, balanced to box: Gellar looking to slug all the way. Sarah in wide stance, left hand low, right hand cocked--she’s hopping in and plowing straight, very hard lead rights at Kelly’s face--each with 100% Sarah behind it. Kelly blocking and stepping away--whenever Gellar misses a right hand, she hops on the left foot, while dragging her right (back) foot, keeping her balance despite the hard slugging. Batting, abrupt exchanges evolve as Kelly tries brisk one-twos while Sarah’s thrusting the right and swinging a wide, straight-arm come-back hook. Tart contact scored by both beauties--Sarah landing loud left hands in Kelly’s flanks and checking her chin with straight right hand poke: Packard landing a right hand of her own, taking Sarah on her eye/left cheek, Girls disengage immediately--usually Packard backing off--Sarah slowly but surely evolving as the aggressor. Midway through--following several tense exchanges--Kelly’s legs look shaky, face concerned: Sarah’s hurting for her. Gellar continuing to pounce-in gambling lead rights, slapping Kelly the hook as Packard’s retreating, shaking Packard up and KELLY GOES DOWN! Packard’s knees just diving way as she’s walking to her right--she wilts to all fours, suddenly shabby: all that chin music simply proving too much. Kelly bravely up at 8, tears standing I dazed eyes--she staggers to her right, running from Sarah as bell tolls to halt the Gellar attack.
R2: Sarah eyes bright--she’s hungry for Kelly.. Packard not recovering fully during the break--looking rickety--she pumps out a stiff jab, tries a right cross, eats a crashing right from sarah directly on the teeth. Packard’s punches skidding off Sarah’s scalp or cheeks: Sarah’s right hand punching directly into Kelly chin/mouth--every single shot seems to wobble and shake Packard, forcing her to regroup. Gellar’s left hook follow-punch more of a wide, straight-arm slap--she’s taking Kelly in her ribs or clapping her upside the head as Packard’s moving away, landing just hard enough to keep Kelly from countering. Crowd tense--Sarah in that wide stance, hunting for Kelly, drilling her repeatedly with those straight, lunging right hands--Packard soaking up bombs, continuing to leg away, offering back less and less as damage accumulates. Final minute, Sarah pounding righty up the middle, batting away left hands as Kelly wilts and PACKARD GOES DOWN! Kelly ashen-faced--turning to her right, stumbling a few steps, then collapsing to all fours: head bowed, tears squirting as she desperately tries to rally. Shabby 8, Kelly: she earmuffs up as HERE COMES SARAH! Gellar pinning her ears back squares away--OH she lathers away at poor hurting Kelly. Crumpling right hand takes Kelly behind her left elbow; spanking left digs in behind Kelly’s right elbow; another right hand belts aty that tender left flank. Sarah pushes in left shoulder/elbow, propping Kelly up; Sarah hooks off the bump, clouts the right hand on chin--neatly switching Kelly’s face back/forth. Left uppercut--dug deep to sternum--beats the breath from Kelly: Sarah bending her left knee, popping her hips to get that punch home evil. Left uppercut shaves past Kelly’s left cheek as she bending forward--not a clean connect, but Packard drowsily straighten from it--eats a blunt right hand on the mouth as a consequence. KELLY’S OUT ON HER FEET! Packard swooning into ropes, all loose and helpless--SARAH RELEASES THE HOUNDS! Torrid, frenzied Gellar lefts and rights pour onto Kelly, beating at her sleepy face and pinked-up chest and THE REF STEPS IN! TKO2 in savage fashion--Sarah Michelle Gellar!
After: Gellar yelping for joy bas ref cradles battered Kelly to safety--it’s EXACTLY the decisive victory Sarah hoped for over Packard. Very risky approach--Sarah staking all on drilling right hands up the middle--Kelly hurt early and often, simply/unable to manage the damage before her ultimate collapse. “I’ve taken care of Packard,” Sarah says with dismissive glee, “now I want more. Everyone;s talking about Kristen Bell being the next Sarah Michelle Gellar--but I’m not seeing it. Sarah carter? A drip. Kris Kreuk? Whining punk, Natalie Portman? Please. Alyson Hannigan? She know I’m better You go through the top 10 and all you see are girls who are getting by on payoffs and name recognition. I’m back and I’m cleaning up!”
