BEFORE: Cordial bikini photo-shoot promo turns tempestuous: girls brought face to face; something in Summer's 'tude bothers Laura; Laura uses heel of right hand to push Sum's head back; Summer's left hand swings a clapping slap across Laura's face; someone in the press shouts "CATFIGHT!" and that's it - girls entangle with intent to harm.

Limber Summer controls descent...when they hit the floor, she's at Laura's right flank, legs scissoring across Vandervoort's flat belly, arms encircling Laura's shoulders up-top, pulling Laura's far (left) arm in close. Laura grimacing, in some difficulty for a few seconds until officials pull scrapping-whippets apart...both camps look to make the most of the altercation.

"I'm quicker and better," Summer tells the press at podium. "I wrapped her up tight and was hurting her right away with my legs: in twenty seconds she would have been bawling her submission to me, and we both know that. That's huge going into a fight, knowing that I've already owned her...Laura's already beaten!"

Vandervoort frowning prettily at podium: she's drawing entirely different conclusions from her grappling experience. "I was surprised that Summer couldn't hurt me, after all I've heard about her legs." Laura shrugs. "She got me into position, squeezed....and I was fine. In twenty seconds, I'd have wrestled her onto her back and begun the pounding that would have had HER yelping in submission, so I don't think you can say she was winning or whatever - she was just delaying the inevitable. She's bendy, but I'm bendy too, AND beach-tuff...I'll beat Summer sleepy in this fight - count on it!"

During R1: Summer draws first blood - feinting to freeze Laura; striping her a rubber-hose right hand drawn diagonally across Laura's torso ribs-to-belly, with a slught palm-up orientation. Laura short with pumping left/right receipts...Sum showing leg early as she circles to fresh attack angles. Similar feint-and-punch tactics from Sum throughout the round: wide, swiping left hooks chastising Laura's breasts; buggywhip right hands lashing at Laura's torso-front and flanks; snappy up-jabs off the hip punching Laura's mouth. Vandervoort resolute - keeping small mitts at brows as she steps forward - her body sounding out PIK! PAK! at the touch of Summer's cruel, slinging wallops. Glau maddeningly out of reach; small Mona-Lisa smile curling her lips...she's taunting and bedeviling more than hurting, but she's also racking up points for a shutout. Brazen eye contact after the bell, Summer's brown seeking out Laura's blues and reveling in blonde frustration at the break.

R2: Laura pinging jabs from the shoulder - good basic technique to locate Summer's jugs/fix Summer's position. Glau stymied early - pre-empted by Laura...brunette grimacing grumpy as blonde girl twists her jab into breast meat for extra effect. Laura stepping in with limber right hands - buggywhipping punches landing with high, bright PIK! noises against Summer's svelte left flank. Glau retreating; Laura walking her down behind the jab...blonde girl hop/walking, showing eager legs and footwork smart enough to cut the ring off on Sum. Halfway point, Laura's pinging jab locates Summer's jugs with a healthy PIK! PAK! Sudden right hand streaks off blonde shoulder to brunette chin - Summer's hands at her chest, elbows out wide to either side as her head gets clouted hard to starboard. GLAU'S LEGS SPASM! Sum staring in disbelief - well and truly smote to chin...she's stumbling around, looking panicked: Laura quickly moving in, reaching under Sum's slender arms and bodying brunette ragdoll to ropes! Laura: teeth bared, eyes blazing...she jostles Summer into position, then laps her mitts right/left/right against tummy, bunching Summer up "UHHH!" Glau pitching forward, arms looping loose around Laura's hips: Vandervoort pulls Summer even a bit closer with a tug behind either brunette elbow, then she's LASHING THE BACK! Big, strapping, palm-down lefts and rights beating across Summer's lower back and hips, sending fresh tremors down her legs. Laura ruff with Summer here, disengaging from the loose clinch by using small gloves to actually pull Summer's hair, yanking brunette head back and drawing Glau onto ropes! Laura's left hand pushes under Sum's chin, bending her over top rope: right hand tomohawk's Sum's offending jugs - Laura landing with plenty of forearm. Ref shouting warnings, but Vandervoort's lost in brawling lust...she reaches in under Summer's arms, ragdolling brunette on ropes again...Glau's head lolling, hair across her eyes, mouth open. Laura: left arm in under Summer's right; right hand PITCHING in punches to tummy. Glau: "UHH-H!" as she takes it to the body. Laura crowding close, keeping Summer's buns on the ropes and plowing her righty-in-the-gut and THE REF STEPS IN! Laura still feeding Summer body blows until official pulls her off...wild TKO2 Laura Vandervoort!

AFter: Laura still spittin' mad, wanting more Summer: Glau holding a plundered midsection, slumping on ropes and blubbering...we've rarely seen Laura so riled up. "I was tired of hearing how Sum beat Serinda, so she was going to beat me," Laura scowls in post fight. "Tired of hearing about her stupid legs; tired of hearing about how bendy she is. I'm not Britney - I don't just stand there like a lump and let you work: MY legs stopped HER legs tonight, and Summer's going to have to live with that!"
