TESS VALMORE
MITRA/ ACCOLA This was the most difficult fight I have ever had to watch. I mean, how can you give it your complete attention, when you got to deal with Jenny McCarthy and Mickey O’Rourke. Then my buddy, Cassis Scerbo, had to waltz by with various members of Bazz. To top it off, I had to watch Demi Moore try and put the make on my boyfriend. I wanted to clean her clock, but like she is almost 50. I can’t hit an old lady. I am not a violent person but I’m not going to let some aging brunette move in on my turf. Oh yeah, there was a fight. Accola got off to a good start taking the first two rounds. After that is was all Mitra, who as the rounds went by, was hitting harder and harder. By the end of the seventh, Accola was pretty much done. Mitra finished off the blonde in the eighth as the referee stopped the fight.
STONE/ KE$HA The fact that Ke$ha won this fight is not the story. It’s the way she did it. Known previously as a brawler who couldn’t spell defense, Ke$ha showed the ability to move and demonstrated for the first time, defensive skills. The fight was close all the way to the sudden end which occurred in the sixth round. In that round, KeSha caught Stone with a right hook and an over hand left the put Stone down for the count
CYRUS/ JAMIE LYNN SPEARS. This was the only fight I missed prediction wise. While I thought Jamie would win, I figured this would be a good fight. Really, it was pretty one sided. Cyrus dropped Spears for a seven count in the first and knocked her out in the tenth. In between Cyrus dominated the fight. Jamie managed to take only two rounds.
STEWART/ ADAMS. In the pre-fight, Stewart proclaimed that Adams was there only to give her some work and when she had enough, she would finish it. It didn’t take Stewart long to get enough. About four and a half minutes. Stewart seemed to be in a hurry. I looked around to see if Robert Pattinson was there, but if he was, he wasn’t ringside. A right, left, right ended Adams’ night in the second,.
DECKER/ KLUM. This fight could be termed this year’s model vs last years. I got the word in the pre-fight that Decker was not well liked in model circles. Decker is known as ‘circus rack” by some of her stablemates. She didn’t help any when she and McCarthy got us kicked off the network for several minutes. There was a fight. I thought that Decker would win handily, In fact, I thought she would flatten Klum. It turned out to be a close fight. Decker took the final two rounds which enabled her to get the decision.
MACK/ ELECTRA. This fight surprised me. Not because Mack won. She was supposed to. I thought Electra would be gone by the end of the third. I was shocked when she decked Allison in the third. Fortunately Mack beat the count and finally took control of the fight in the fifth when she put Electra on the canvas. Carmen managed to make it to the ninth but by that time she was no longer competitive and the referee stopped the fight
FOX/ CAMPBELL I really didn’t think that Fox was going to win this bout but I was a little anxious over this fight. I badly wanted Neve to win this fight and I admit it. I thought that Fox,who has proved to be dangerous, might give Neve a problem I needed not to worry. Neve was never in danger and dominated the fight. In the seventh Neve landed a right to the body, a left uppercut and another right. Fox was out on her feet and the referee wisely stopped the fight |
