(KEAR'S KATS VS FRONT STREET JAPAN)

At bantamweight the lovely Amy is to fight busty Reon, in what is likely to be a contrast of styles – both girls are feisty, and keen to get at each other.

Amy enters the ring first, and she is gorgeous! Tonight she wears a scarlet bra and briefs set that leaves little to the imagination, and the fans are still cheering her when Reon enters, also looking fine, but in a black bikini which shows off her lovely body equally well.

Round 1

Reon seems the keener of the pair at the outset, and she soon has her punches landing in Amy’s face, the English girl’s features already reddening as she drills her hard left hooks past her defensive gloves. Amy’s looking confused at this stage, but she weathers the early storm and gets into her stride, only to pick up a flurry of shots to her midsection in a late Reon attack, which has her rolling along the ropes, desperately trying to hold the older girl off, but taking a few hard blows before the bell.

Round 2

Reon looks for Amy to the body again early on, and she begins to thud her left hooks hard into the Essex girl’s ribs once again, in what’s becoming a painful bout for her. Amy digs deep to defend herself, but is finding it tough as Reon pushes her to the ropes and whips nasty punches at her firm belly. Not until the closing stages does Amy offer a great deal in terms of aggression, but then she gets her right jab working, landing neatly in Reon’s face, and she has the Japanese girl backing off by the end of the round.

Round 3

The action seems a little slower now, with Amy very much taking her chance to show her boxing skills against a slightly slower opponent, and she’s landing rapid punches to the Japanese girl’s face – not hard shots, but the all count – and she’s making her look almost silly. Reon counters by throwing shots towards Amy’s body, but the English girl is easily able to keep her at bay this time around, and she follows her jabs in, too, landing left hooks sharply to Reon’s ear and mouth before the bell.

Round 4

Now the pace picks up again, and Amy’s looking really sharp as she takes the fight to Reon, rapping jabs into the older girl’s face, and this keeps Reon busy, keeps her on the back foot, taking Amy’s punches and laying back on the ropes. Then she fights back, hitting Amy to the face and body in a super little flurry, which Amy defends well, and comes back by the end of the round to land punches with either hand to the older girl’s face, making her grunt a little, then she hits her nicely to the belly, leaving Reon defending on the ropes at the end of the round.

Round 5

This fight is pretty even, now, but Amy’s still in the ascendancy early in this round as she takes the fight to Reon again, landing her jabs to the Japanese girl’s face, getting in nice and close to land to her body – but Reon fights back hard, bangs two looping right hooks into Amy’s face, then a left to the belly, another crashing right hook to Amy’s jaw, and the Essex girl goes down, flat on her back and panting, not sure where she is for a moment, then she gets slowly to her feet at 8 as Reon thumps her again to the ribs and body, looking for the knockout then with two more good punches to Amy’s face, splitting the girl’s lips open, making her stumble, but not flooring her again.

Round 6

Patched up, but still looking groggy, Amy is met with a flurry of shots to the face when the girls resume, and she’s gets sent staggering backwards to the ropes after taking a hard left hook, right hook combination, the right hook opening up a cut along her left cheekbone, which will need attention. Reon really gets stuck into Amy now, slugging at her ribs, loosening her up, then focussing on that damaged eye, the blood dribbling down the Brit’s pretty face, and she’s looking worn down by the time the bell rings to save her from more punishment.

Round 7

Amy’s corner have done a good job in sealing that cut, and Amy protects herself well, dancing, moving and jabbing her way around the ring against a fairly static Reon, who is shocked to find the younger girl has so much fight in her. Reon goes for the body again, but Amy’s keeping out of range for the most part, then flipping back in, landing neat jabs, retreating just as quickly before Reon can hurt her. Only in the closing seconds does Reon catch up with Amy, when she lands twice to her damaged cheek and reopens the cut, but she is definitely second best in this round.

Round 8

Amy keeps busy, landing to Reon’s face with some crisp looking jabs, while the older girl is almost lunging in her attempts to batter Amy to the body. Midway through the round, Amy lands her best shot – a good left hook to Reon’s jaw, which, although it turns Reon;s head sideways, doesn’t seem to have hurt the girl, and she comes forward bullishly, takes punches to land punches, but although Amy still takes the round, she’s alarmed that Reon is beginning to hurt her again.

Round 9

The girls are tired, but Reon is weathering better than Amy, and she begins to assert herself early in the ninth once again getting through with her clubbing bodyshots, slowing Amy down, weakening her ready to go for her face again, and she lands on that cut cheek with two solid, straight right hand shots, the Essex girl in trouble now, and trying to clinch – but Reon isn’t having any, and she muscles the younger girl backwards, smacking her head from side to side as she lands three, four shots to her face, almost flooring her, but Amy bounces to the ropes, gets a hard left to the body, and holds Reon tight til the bell.

Round 10

Reon pumps two hard punches onto Amy’s cut cheek immediately, and the Brit is struggling to cover up as Reon pushes her to the ropes, hurts her with a three punch salvo to the body, then stuns her with a left hook to the mouth, and another, pops her backwards with a solid right, and Amy’s knees give way, the youngster sliding along the ropes and to the floor. Amy gets to her feet at 8 again, but the referee calls a halt – she’s taken more than enough punishment in there.

Reon Kadena stopped Amy Childs in round 10.

Amy gave a good account of herself, but she’s not quite at Reon’s level, and the Japanese girl was able to turn up the heat late in that fight to ensure a victory.
