Sarah: I’m here with Naomi, you haven’t been very active for the last few years and your efforts against Emma Bunton, although underdone, were pathetic to say the least. How do you feel coming in tonight?

Naomi: I’ve put 3 wins together since then, one of them over Rhiannon Fish and she is a rising star. I’m surprised Gleave has been able to make the weight; this should be an easy one tonight.

Sarah: So the veteran Watts clearly backing her herself in. And I’ll just get a quick word with Lisa on debut with BronzedOz Boxing. Any comments Lisa?

Lisa: I feel really sorry for Naomi. She is so old she could be my mother. She should have given it away years ago and I think I might end her career tonight.

Round 1

The first minute is all Gleave, firing quick jabs at the old guard. Watts taking shots early, she is trying, coming back with stiff jabs of her own but Gleave is too quick and evasive. Great footwork from Gleave, getting away from Watts then advancing and blasting the STRAIGHT JAB right in the nose. Watts stomping around as Gleave continues to dominate driving that jab right between her gloves. Watts head continuously thumped back as her nose starts to bleed and the eyes start to water already. Watts trying to duck under and fall against Gleave now and gets a halt in proceedings. Ref pulls them apart as Watts rips in a few tidy hooks to the Gleave ribcage, Gleave hurt, as Watts continues to pound away at her exposed ribs and Gleave now resorts to backing away. Watts tracking her with some hard shots to the shoulder, one bounces off and takes Gleave's chin and the young blonde dances away, shaking it off. There’s the bell.

Kylie: Early signs weren’t great there Naomi but she certainly finished well.

Kristy: Oh yeah but look at the state of that nose and the swelling of the eyes already. She is in a state.

Round 2

Gleave beating Watts to the middle again, leading with that precise jab, knocking the guard aside and swiping with a BLISTERING HOOK which just grazes the tip of the nose and Watts is blinking stunned. Gleave comes on as Watts places the jab out there and Gleave just ducks and rips two solid hooks towards the veterans’ mid-section. Watts offering nothing as Gleave thumps her head back the solid jab then springs forward into a full body assault. Watts now swinging up top, landing several hooks to Gleave’s expose face as Gleave relentlessly hammers away at the veterans’ torso. Watts coming apart as her punches get sloppy and weak; Gleave connects with a right uppercut, bouncing Watts head up and then fires a STRAIGHT JAB which has Watts backpedalling to the corner. Gleave attacks with an ALL OUT assault. Left and right jabs smacking the head back and forth, a BIG RIGHT HOOK crashes against the veterans temple as she leans against the ropes and young blonde clubs right hooks into her left side and one final right hook to the temple signals to the REF that this one is all over! TKO2 Lisa Gleave!

Kristy: Naomi Watts hits the deck hard after that last hook to the temple and I think if the Ref hadn’t stepped in she would have been counted out anyway.

Kylie: Yeah she hasn’t moved from the canvas yet as Lisa Gleave stands over her and slices her throat with her thumb.

Lisa: YOU’RE DONE WATTS! YOUR CAREER IS OVER!

Kristy: Well I don’t know that this is anyway to treat an Aussie legend but it certainly was a clinical displays from the girl 19 years her junior.

Kylie: Probably an unfair match up really. YassieD rates her the best upcoming Flyweight in Australia and perhaps Naomi was out of her depth tonight.

Sarah: If I can just drag Lisa away from YassieD and get a word here, Lisa good win.

Lisa: Good win? That was a great win. I blasted the old has been out of the ring. Look she is still unconscious.

Sarah: Some might say it was an uneven match up, that maybe you should be fighting the likes of Higgs or Browning, much younger opponents.

Lisa: They drew the fights so I have to fight who they say. But yeah, for sure, bring on the title, Higgs or Minogue, I don’t care.
