The Latin Union was created by a Mr. Luca who wanted an organization composed of French and Italian female celebrity fighters to compete (and win) in the BBU (Brit Boxing unlimited), the U.S.A.-based FCBA (Female Celerity Boxing Association and similiar federartions. Heading the training staff will be veteran French actress/boxer Sophie Marceau and veteran Italian actress/boxer Sabrina Salerno. There are reports that the new organization hopes to add French actress/singer Elodie Frege once negotiations with her present management can be concluded).  In January of 2015 the organization decided to release Manuela Arcuri, Miriam Leone, Clara Morgane and Elena Santarella. In December 2015, the Latin Union released Marion Cotillard while signing Ariane Bodier, Alice Taglioni. Lorie Pester and Emma Marrone. The organization also stated it wished to emphasize on the FCBA/SSB in its future effort.

On 05/07/16 The organization reduced itself by releasing Ariane Brodier, Laura Chiati, Emma Marrone, Lorie Pester, Cristina Scabbia and Alice  Taglioni.  This left Elodie Frege, Lea Seydoux, Laura Pausini, and Elisabetta Canalis as the new core group of fighters).

On 12/31/16 the Latin Union announced the departure of Elisabetta Canalis as well as trainers Sophie Marceau and Sabrina Salerno. Ariane Brodier and Asia Argento were then announced as the new Trainers.

On 3/27/17, Latin Union announced the resigning of Emma Marrone, Miriam Leone, Lorie Pester and Marion Cotillard
