There is a fair bit of simmering rivalry between these two TV actresses, both of whom rather fancy themselves, and this showdown at bantamweight has been simmering for a while.

First into the ring tonight is Emma, wearing a baby blue bra and panties set, in which she looks rather gorgeous, and she us quickly joined by the preening Helen in her scarlet bikini. The girls are very soon shooting dagger like glares at each other as they await the first bell.

Round 1

Emma starts brightly, but she’s looking very stiff and orthodox out there in the ring, and soon starts shipping a few of Helen’s less orthodox hooks to her body. She doesn’t have the best defence, so when Helen comes in looking to land, she’s skipping off out of the way, flicking out jabs as best she can, then hoping the brunette will let her alone. But as the round draws to a close, Helen has Emma closed down, lands well to her body, then hits her firmly in the mouth with three left hooks, leaving Emma looking sad at the bell.

Round 2

Helen stalks Emma for the first part of the round, knowing she can hurt the blonde, and she catches up with her before the midpoint, the older girl in a neutral corner, and she just unloads a flurry of punches into her face, which is already grazing, then bumps her a good left to the belly, a right hook to the side of the head, and Emma’s sniffing the canvas, shaking her head and getting up at 8, but she looks shaky still, and Helen hurts her again to the body, the blonde almost sitting on the ropes as she tries to back away, and the round ends with Helen working her to the face again.

Round 3

Emma is still sticking to her task, but it’s hard when you have an opponent who is as keen and hungry as Helen is tonight, and now the blonde is cut as well, pulling away after taking two solid right hooks to the eye, she has a cut in her left eyebrow, which Helen cruelly focuses on, possibly too much because she loses her rhythm and that enables Emma to avoid her by skipping around a little more, protecting her damaged eye with her gloves, and she suffers no more damage as a result.

Round 4

Emma’s still skipping around, but Helen looks stern and determined, and she’s soon got the blonde trapped and wounded on the ropes again, after landing heavily to her soft and vulnerable midriff. Helen is cool and calculating as she then picks Emma off, landing to her mouth with two left hooks, then to her cheek with a right, another left to the mouth, and the girl is down again, hauling herself up at 7, but that’s it – the referee has seen enough.

Helen Flanagan stopped Emma Rigby in round 4

Helen seemed really focussed in this fight, albeit against a frightened rabbit of an opponent, and maybe she can start to fulfil some of her obvious potential now.
