Before: Most highly anticipated rookie match up in years—Righetti and Durance swaggering in with an impressive cocktail of youth and precocious fighting ability. Both girls with some results, but Durance with a solid 10 rounds against Casta arguably in with the better comp. Jenny O’Dell bout rumored to be on hold—Erica can’t resist a dig: “I wouldn’t want to fight the winner of me and Amanda either!” Durance in punching ponytail. Pink bandeau bikini, Righetti in rusty red bikini, twist tie top, hair up/

During R1: Durance leaning into some ballistic LEFT hands early of a southpaw stance—Righetti shying away—Erica’s in charge. Heavy handed stalking from Durance as she bosses Righetti around the ring. Walking blonde down, leaning into a go-home  left hands with reckless abandon. Good stiff stick from Durance—she’s not just blundering in—very hard for Righetti to get comfortable and fire back. Final minute—Durance able to crowd Righetti at the ropes, reefing right hooks at taut blonde waist. but bumping up, using the right shoulder and elbow, keeping her guard up to hamper Righetti’s sharp counter punches. Bell to bell Durance a bit of a surprise—brunette imposing her will, strength, unorthodox angles and punching power on blonde in the first.

R2: Amanda getting her composure—embarassed in the first—she meets Erica midring for a classic swap-meet. Girls dig in with the big toe of the back foot (right), plant strong on the left leg, dukes up and working 1950s style in the trenches. Erica now conventional, pouring leather to Amanda’s waist, doubling and tripling up the hook, then chopping short right hands to the chin. Amanda pumping right/lefts to Erica’s midsection. Splattering her way up-torso and cashing in chin with stern left hands. Elbows in, tight deliveries, good defensive crouches, chins tucked—it’s not just random brawling—both beauties putting mitts on meat, but it’s classy trade. Righetti a touch better defensively. Recovering her hand position and blocking well, then scoring as Durance covers up a tad late. Erica takes her first backward steps of the fight as Righetti starts to land in brisk threes, clanging away on the chin and brow of her brunette/ Bell: it’s Amanda digging at Durance—Erica’s butt in the ropes, torso tilted forward, hands up—she’s trusting a sturdy set of abs to absorb TART Righetti punching downstairs. Hard glares as the ref separates ‘em: Erica’s eyes silently accusing Amanda of taking extra tummy just a tad late.

R3: Back in tight, FURIOUS punching shoulder to shoulder, Girls hooking at one another’s breadbaskets tight n’ tasty, right hands taped to cheeks as it’s all body and legs behind the punching. Awesome display—girls’ faces strained, breath hissing through tightly clenched teeth as punches dig at offending guts. Crisp right hands, especially from Durance, dropping down short to jaw. Every offence immediately answered—crowd roaring gleefully as the bold display of sheer hubris. Amanda blinks first—cumulative effect of Erica’s body punching visibly drains Righetti-0-she finally steps out of the kitchen ashen-faced, eyes plaintive: durance walks her down. More hooks to the body—ripping, digging in there. That chopping, tight right hand, lumping up Amanda’s eye—Righetti clobbered to the ropes. Amanda mitts at temples, teeth gritted, dipping side to side, rotating her torso. Erica going to the waist with either hand, wedging heart-stoppers behind either Righetti elbow, stiffening blonde legs. Durance big n’ burly with that left shoulder—propping up on Amanda, bumping her, bullying her. Robust, non-stop punching in the midsection, battering up into jug—Righetti’s defence starting to droop, wilt. Slug or be battered for Amanda—she fires back hooks, first to the body then to the head and it’s SDAVAGE trade at the halfway point. Trade-in torrid chin hooks goes Durance’s way—Amanda’s head swivels, legs go limp—blonde sags against the ropes and she’s HELPLESS! SICKENING right hand Durance, drifting to the chin and rocking rag-doll blonde over the top rope, follow-on hook upside the head spilling Amanda into the corner, Righetti battered, in a stupor, still trying to rally, but Erica’s bashing away past the guard now, pounding away crashing criss cross lefts and rights and THE REF STEPS IN! Amanda pounded out on her feet collapses in the man’s arms—Erica Durance storms away the TKO3 Winner!

After: Brutal punching from Erica Durance decisively separates herself from Righetti in this take-no-prisoners slugfest. Righetti choosing to stand and trade, landing plenty, but catching plenty in return—brunette’s heavier hands prove the difference. “I knew I’d beat her,” beams a confident, lumped up Durance. “Amanda’s very dangerous off the ropes, but I was ready for her counterhooks—she never really got them off. I felt like Charisma had exposed her a little bit to the body, so I really wanted to get up in there. She was SO discouraged! She was making these tight ‘UHHHH! UHHHH!’ noises, you know? She was tagging me, but Casta hit me harder and I knew as long as we were both pitching, I’d win it sooner or later. The best woman definitely won tonight—I thought I’d be stronger and sharper and tougher, but now I KNOW I am.”
