Both girls are call to the center of the ring and they eye each other. Marion Cotillard is nervous, knowing that if she has any hope to win this fight she will have to put together a superb effort. This is Marion Cotillard's debut in BBU and she is certainly looking very anxious. In front of her stands Jennifer Metcalfe for whom this is the 9th fight (5 wins and 3 losses). Jenny is also confident knowing that she has much more technical edge and experience, even though Marion seems more powerful.

Both girls stare at each other tensely touch gloves and go back to their corners to await the bell.

Round1

The bell rings and Jennifer comes out with her guard up almost charging towards Marion, wanting take the control of the fight. Once Jennifer gets within range Marion unloads a straight right that catches nothing but glove. Jennifer fires a straight left to Marion's stomach. Marion grimaces as that shot hurt her somewhat. Marion does back up. Jennifer tries to get within range, drops her guard down and gets hit by a left jab. Again Jennifer rushes in, but Marion ends the round in total control.

Round2

Jennifer comes in strong again and gets hit by another right that stuns her just a bit. She moves in with her guard up and Marion fires a jab that hits Metcalfe's chin. Marion wants Jennifer to tire out and she’s following her around the ring, jabbing, jabbing. Marion moves out of the way of Metcalfe’s counter punches, making Jennifer waste her energy. Maron Cotillard moves so quickly and gets Jennifer with a good straight right to the stomach. Jennifer takes the shot but drops her guard down. Jennifer decides that she would have to move in fast to outscore Marion, but it's the end of the round, so her counter attack fades.

Round3

After about ten seconds Marion fires a one-two combo, hitting Jennifer hard to the face, and giving her a cut below the left eye. Marion puts her guard up and drops back to get near Jennifer's height and fires a one two to Jennifer's stomach. Jennifer covers. Marion fires a big right hand shot to Jenny’s face, worsening cut to her eye, making her look bloodier. Marion goes back to letting Jennifer chase her around the ring for the remaining ten seconds of the round., after which Jennifer's corner immediately goes to work on her eye, which is beginning to swell.

Round4

Marion takes three steps out of her corner and puts down her guard. Jennifer moves in. Marion takes advantage of her ringspeed and hits Jennifer with a left jab. Marion sees that Jennifer has her arms down and sends a hard right reopening the cut on Jennifer's eye. Jennifer is looking bloody and in trouble. Marion keeps circling, and she is now in obvious control of the fight. The French girl moves in, fires a quick left jab, and moves out. Marion Cotillard's boxing is amazing at this stage, but Jennifer attempts to react but she's under pressure. The round is over and Marion continues to dominate the fight.

Round 5

Jennifer tries to begin the round more aggressively but Marion has a good defense. Marion lands a quick one-two combo to the Brit’s body and face, and turns back with her guard down. Jennifer is clearly in considerable difficulty, as her eye is beginning to close. Marion's punches hurt but Metcalfe's pride is incredible even though she knows the fight isn't going her way. The ref steps in and asks her if she wants to continue. She says that she does. She is nowhere near being knocked out, but fortunately for her it's the end of the round, and she can get some treatment.

Round 6

Jennifer slowly comes out of her corner. Marion comes out in pursuit and fires another quick one-two combo to Jennifer's head and backs away. Jennifer is to slow to follow her. She is breathing through her mouth. Marion decides to stay out of range and bomb, which is what she does so well. She works very well hitting Jennifer's head with two devastating hooks. Jennifer's
guard is up, so within seconds, Marion begins to work on Jennifer's body . Marion gives Jennifer a hard uppercut to the jaw but Metcalfe doesn't go down. Cotillard is gaining confidence and Jennifer fires a hard shot right to Marion's stomach. Perhaps Jennifer realizes that she has to knock out Marion to win and tries to put pressure on Cotillard. But, Marion takes this opportunity to hit Jennifer so hard in the stomach that she sends Jennifer Metcalfe to the canvas,.........out for the count.

Marion Cotillard beat Jennifer Metcalfe by KO in round 6!!!!
