Pixie has yet to win a fight in BBU, and she takes on debutant Karine tonight, a 29 year old who is expecting to do good things, and who is a moderate favourite, mainly because it’s hard to back loser Pixie.

First into the ring is Pixie, the girl looking great in white bikini top and black briefs, and she has successfully outglammed actress Karine in her blue one piece outfit.

Round 1

Out come the girls, and the opening exchanges are passionate and frenzied, with Vanasse getting stuck into Lott, pushing the blonde around the ring like a child, and smacking her face around pretty convincingly, generally dictating the pace of the fight to the singer, who is already bleeding from the mouth. Karine gets in nice and close, looks for a big punch, then gets hurt because Pixie fights back, showing real spirit as she exchanges big right hands with her and it's Pixie that punches better! Karine’s sent backwards by that and takes a good shot to the mouth herself, almost going down, recovering quickly, but that was a shock for her as Pixie evened the round up.

Round 2

After taking a lecture from her corner, Karine regains control of this fight. She is coming out strong, thudding shots into Pixie’s face for starters, still seeming to think she can take Pixie out quickly, but Lott’s blocking her, and now Vanasse is pouring punches into Pixie’s body, hurting her with a good left dig to her liver, then taking it to her ribs, but to her surprise, Lott absorbs her attack quite well. In the later exchanges, Pixie’s fighting back strongly, and she worries Karine again with her right hand, but she’s back on the ropes again in the closing seconds, ad Karine takes the round neatly.

Round 3

Both girls come out punching again, and this is good stuff – very competitive, with Karine beginning now to land the better punches, and Pixie having to give ground, finding herself trapped on the ropes, constantly taking punches to her ribcage, and she’s hurting now, that’s for sure, gasping in pain every time the Canadian lands. Once more, Karine thinks she’s weakened the singer enough to hit her more to the face, but Pixie is still toughing it out, and catches an over-committed Vanasse with a stiff left, and a right to halt her progress in the closing seconds. Even so, the Canadian bossed that round, and Pixie’s looking shabby when she sits on her stool.

Round 4

As the round starts it’s clear that Pixie has started to get tired, having taken a lot of punishment so far, and at the same time Karin grows stronger, and she pounds the singer’s body now, hurting her and really giving her a beating to the ribs and flanks, the blonde’s knees just about keeping her up. Then, having been trapped and punched on the ropes, Lott attacks, but to little effect, Vanasse just pushing the Brit aside, sweeping punches into her face, drilling jabs into her mouth, then she hooks her to the cheeks and the jaw and sends poor Pixie down late in the round, the blonde getting up slowly at 8, and lucky to see the end of a one-sided round.

Round 5

The bell rings, but Pixie’s too slow out of her corner, still confused and dazed from that knockdown in the fourth. Karine’s just pouring in on her now as she likes, and she just hammers Pixie immediately, smashes two big rights into her face to send he stuttering backwards, then wades in, flips a left hook straight over her gloves and into her jaw, sending her down, and Pixie’s eye are shut as she lies on the canvas.

Karine Vanasse knocked Pixie Lott out in round 5.

The medics are in the ring after this fight, and there’s some concern, as Pixie doesn't get up for a long time.

As predicted, really, Karine is good – too good for young Pixie anyway!
