Hannigan did the expected in this one: making Mack work, going rounds, posing problems and in the end, giving way to the harder punching, stronger girl.

Great fight for Mack in the sense that Hannigan’s a pesky boxer, a harder worker and better conditioned than many people realize—redhead able to confound blonde time and again with flurries off the ropes, shuffling lateral movement and surprising pop at points. Mack found herself dazed in the second, lit up in the seventh and going into the 8^th, the fight was actually very close on all cards.

The heavier weight of shot however went to Mack and a bashing right to the jaw put Hannigan down in the sixth, It was a shot from which Aly H would not fully recover—she was brave oin out-throwing Mack in the 7^th, but the redhead had nothing left. Unable to move or generate her chugging flurries in the 8^th, Hannigan couldn’t keep Mack and her bludgeoning right hands off. A few pounding blows to the head and heart and it was over: Hannigan lay out cold on her back along the ropes as Ali Mack stormed away with good work under her belt.
