Before: Langton looking to keep up the momentum, stays busy with Judd, but it’s Ashley talking like the favourite in pre-fight. Aggressive new management for Judd pushing her in with a more experienced bantam--Langton the classier, more experienced girl in this contest. Black cotton jockey two piece for blonde Judd, red cotton jockey two piece for brunette Langton.

During R1: Brooke appraising, calculating--Judd wilder, busier, and ultimately more effective. Langton moving her head, turning her shoulder to slip--most of Judd’s connects are glancing--but blonde’s two-fisted volume carries the round.

R2: Langton pulling the trigger on a sweet right uppercut counter, bending right to land underneath Judd’s left and Ashley is wobbly butt. Langton going right after the body, punishing Ashley with curling lefts and rights to the sturdy belly--Judd breaking down is punched to the ropes--Brooke bending left and right to pull biting blows into the blonde’s waist. Nice grinding beat down for the brunette as she works Ashley along the ropes, staying close, making Judd miss at close range and banging with authority as she works Ashley along the ropes, staying close, making Judd miss at close range and banging with authority with tightly clipped punching inside.

R3: Ashley showing heart--still stumbling a little from the body work in the last round, but gamely coming forward, churning lefts and rights and forcing Langton to back up much of the round. Eagerness betrays Judd late as Brooke steps back in good order, slips the wild right hand and comes back with a clocking left hook on the chin that has Ashley stumbling in shock. Langton capitalizing, getting off with chopping combination, pivoting left to keep the angle as Judd busts up. Langton stealing the round with veteran timing--Ashley shiny-faced and getting outclasses, returns o her corner in anger--it’s a good sign.

R4: Shutout Ashley Judd--Langton nifty on defense while she waits for an opening, but it never comes. Judd ripping lefts and rights to hips, keeping on top on Langton, swarming her to the ropes as Brooke slips and bobs, but can’t put the trigger. Final minute sees Judd punish brunette midsection with determined 2-fisted slugging--Langton covered up, seated on the ropes, looks a little disconcerted at the bell.

R5; Ashley storming the gates, swinging for the fences with wild, wrap around rights and lefts--Langton backing away straight up gets caught early with a wide right hand--BROOKE IS HURT! Langton swooning wide-eyed to the ropes, trying to block and bob as Ashley slugs with abandon.; midway through the round, Langton starting to make Ashley miss, and the brunette starts to get the rhythm, hacking short counter punches to Judd’s face in between the blonde’s free swings. Jarring short left hook stuns Judd, sharp right uppercut smacks her mouthpiece out, and another biting left on the jaw puts her on one knee in trouble. Judd now dazed, takes 8, and is jabbed to the ropes. Ashley showing her inexperience, slugs rather than tieing up, pushing shaky lefts and rights as Brooke steps in and out to splatter vicious hooks and crosses to the blonde’s beautiful face. Judd soaking up tremendous punishment, ref taking a close look as Langton pours it on in the final minute. Ashley battered unrecognizable, refuses to go down--staggering to the wrong corner at the break as Langton looks to be gassed on her stool.

R6: Langton a little arm weary, and it’s Judd coming out the aggressor despite having just been wrecked a minute ago. Ashley roughly tackling Langton to the ropes, goes low with a series oif pumping lefts and rights, comes up hard with the top of her head to Brooke’s mouth and LANGTON IS HURT! Brooke stunned, hands at he5r stomach, and Judd cranks a series of hooks to the jaw that has Langton on the verge. Cagey clinching gets Brooke out of the jam--she spends the rest of the round running, tieing up whenever Judd cuts off the ring rather than risk being hurt again.

R7,8: Brooke puts on a boxing clinic, showing Judd constant lateral movement, popping lead rights, doubling up on the jab, and turning the blonde with a neat pivot, placing a hand on Ashley’s arm as she passes. Judd getting nibbled to death, can’t square up, and can’t land effectively--Langton winning the rounds with her legs.

R9: Brooke still pivoting, turning her girl midring, getting off with combinations and owning the space between the fighters with her stabbing jab. Judd breaking down as Langton’s constant pressure pays off--down the stretch, brunette walks blonde into a sharp right hand on the mouth that has Ashley momentarily helpless. Langton dipping in close, pops a short right uppercut to the chin to clap that mouthpiece out again--Judd wobbly butt, falters to the ropes at the bell.

R10: Brooke changing looks, jabs her way inside and crowds Ashley for a bell to bell beating in close. Judd now looking shabby, eyes closed as she lays in with the brunette--Brooke rolling her shoulders inside, swabbing gut, stepping over to the right and clipping her short uppercut to the chin from the side--Judd stumbling forward, takes a discouraging shutout as Brooke finishes up strong. Bell sounds as Langton gets off with pounding lead rights, beefy lefts to the belly mound with Judd covering up ropeside. Unanimous duke Brooke Langton.

After: Ashley putting the fear of god into Brooke through six very hard fought rounds, but brunette’s skills experience let her pull away over the second half to administer a bruising beating by the end. Judd with the tools, decent power at bantamweight clearly a prospect, but Langton ready to challenge for titles clearly on a different level at this point.
