The increasing popularity of BBU endeavours across Great Britain has entered a new stage as the heated duell between former Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell (Lioness Club) and one of the core members of the TV soap-opera Coronation Street, actress Samia Ghadie (Beever's Babes) will be settled in the Reebok Stadium in Bolton, only few miles away from Ghadie's home town of Manchester.

After a decorated FCBA career, Halliwell is still undefeated in BBU organized bouts, knocking out all four of her opponents including fellow high-profile singers Hannah Spearritt and Cheryl Cole last year. Meanwhile Ghadie carries the reputation of being the most notoriously active fighter around, brave or crazy enough to challenge every single flyweight within BBU ranks. In fact, regardless of tonight's result, she has already challenged Nadine Coyle into yet another contest later in the month. She has ammassed a total of 25 bouts in her career already and won five out of her last six to date. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Ghadie leaps up to her older rival and immediately throws a jabbing sequence at her face, couple of them are blocked but then Halliwell gets nailed in the nose and Samia keeps the intensity going, pummels the shocked redhead to the ropes and lands a few jabs to the midsection. Crowd is equally stunned by Ghadie's aggressive approach while Geri can't land a single punch inside the opening minute! But Samia eventually drops the high-tempo, lands single shots to the arms and body and Geri weaves around the ropes, trying to escape. Samia keeps landing those shots though and closes right in on her. Too close! Geri swing a right hook and catches her in the breasts and clinches soon afterwards. Ghadie winces in anger, leans on the redhead and literally tries to push her through the ropes! Ref steps in and separates the girls and Geri's face is reddish looking already! She really took a hard series in the opening round! Samia looks to pounce, leaps up to her rival, but Geri's quick on her feet moving away. Samia chases her and closes the distance again, but misses couple of hooks and Halliwell responds with a solid sequence to the ribcage which finally tames Ghadie's aggression. Both girls circle away from each other and nothing happens before the bell anymore. Excellent round for the Corrie stalwart though!

Round 2:
Samia's keen on keeping up the pressure, leaps up to Geri straight away again, but there's no way through for her jabs and Geri counters with low hooks to the ribcage. Couple of solid hits force a painful squeal from Ghadie and Geri flies with a stiff jab to the nose! Samia's guard is trashed and the Corrie star takes a hard one! Halliwell unloads with more vicious jabs to the stomach, pushes Samia to the ropes and peppers her from mid-range, finally stamping some authority. Ghadie ducks and weaves along the ropes, sidesteps away to avoid more shots from her opponent but Halliwell jumps after her and traps in a corner where she lands more low hooks the ribs and looks for a uppercut but crashes off the leather. Ghadie leans on her, counters with wild hooks to the chest and grazes Geri's chin in the proccess as both girls lock in a clinch. Halliwell lands a heavy jab right on the ribs and Samia's moaning loudly, but catches the redhead in the jugs and Geri's feeling that one as well. Ref steps in and separates the girls, looking to maintain the high-tempo contest but Samia circles away from the corner as Halliwell was taking a breather and allowed her to escape from precarious position. Geri fakes some jabs and forces Ghadie to hold her gloves high for remainder of the round, but there's little action to speak of until the bell. Halliwell definitely found some respect in the ring in this round, but given Ghadie's menacing nature, it could be short-lived,

Round 3:
Indeed Samia's back on the gas, jumping straight at Halliwell and landing some crisp jabs to the stomach before stepping away. Geri winces and misses a wild hook, Ghadie made her look sluggish with that response! More jabs from Samia who now targets Geri's head and the redhead bravely takes them on the guard, refusing to back away and just soaking up all the venom Samia throws at her! Big shots from Ghadie, she's puts everything behind a delightful cross hook and then goes all the way around Halliwell's gloves and nails her in the ear with a right hook! Geri wobbles and finally jumps to the ropes, Samia's right there lacing her in the ribcage! Crowd's on their feet as Samia sensationally sinks the redhead with a piledriver to the guts! GERI's DOWN ON HER KNEES!! Unbelievable punch from Ghadie, but Geri shakes her head and gets up at four waving her gloves frantically to the man in charge! She walks to her corner, ignoring referee's calls to stop and wastes a couple of precious seconds. That gutwrencher caught her attention! Samia hassles her after the command, tries to land some hooks to the face, but Halliwell ducks underneath her elbow and forces a clinch. She pushes Ghadie to the ropes, looking stronger of the two in the power struggle and nails Ghadie's ribs in the clinch. Samia tries to shove her away, but can't and leans on her instead. Halliwell bends lower and almost wrestles the younger girl to the ground, pushing her against the corner post in the proccess. Samia's surprised and barely misses a flying hook that looked destined to clean her nose out! Geri fires with more low jabs to the ribcage and forces Ghadie to the opposite side of the ring. Crowd roars in delight, but the bell interrupts this cat and mouse game shortly afterwards and Samia looks angry during the interval, being unable to inflict more trouble after that fine knockdown half-way through the round.

Round 4:
Ghadie fires from both wings, catches Halliwell in the breats early on, but can't land any shots to the face as Geri drives forward in response, nails the younger girl in the ribcage and whacks an half-uppercut that grazes Samia's chin. Ghadie tries to counter, but skims off the redhead's arms with a wild jabbing sequence and Geri catches her in the chest with a heavy stiff jab! That takes the wind out of Samia's lungs for a moment and she bends forward, looking to clinch. Halliwell pummels her with a cross hook and another jab to the nose instead! Poor Samia wobbles heavily and Geri pours in with a series of cross hooks to the head, ripping her guard to shreds. Head-snapping combo from the older woman, just laying some serious leather on Samia's face and DOWN GOES GHADIE, her legs shoot up in the air as she lands flat on her back, unable to withstand the barrage anymore! Ref starts the count and Samia takes her time before getting up. She's clearly shaken by this attack and sports a heavy bruising on her face. She gets up at seven and nods her head vigorously before getting the approval to continue. Geri's right after her though, mounts another lethal attack and whacks her in the midsection before easily pummelling to the ropes with a series of low jabs. Samia's ribcage takes a brutal pasting, she covers her face, but Halliwell works on her guts, landing crisp shots below the elbow. Ghadie moans in pain, just sinks on her knees and leans on the ropes, unable to find any response. Geri's going for the kill but can't break the younger foe before the bell despite all the mean efforts! Another series of low punches rock the aching Ghadie, but Halliwell runs out of time to finish her off and scoffs in anger while walking back to her stool. Samia looks shattered, a massive pounding at her expense, literally taking in more punches from Halliwell then in all three previous rounds combined. Her face's swollen already and the stomach's also reddened extensively. She slowly makes her way back and slumps on the stool looking very dejected.

Round 5:
Halliwell closes the distance quickly, lands a crisp jabbing sequence to the midsection, testing her rival's resistance level, but Samia's still feeling the effects of that terrible fourth round. She can't match Geri's speed and agility and takes more punishment, moaning in pain after every landed punch. Geri dacnes around her, fakes some jabs and drops her arms alltogether, teasing the younger girl into a suicide attack. Chaotic swings from Ghadie, she looks to ignite some spark into her performance again, but only grazes the flamboyant redhead with weak efforts. Geri lands more jabs to the stomach, sways the aching rival on her knees and thumps a vicious hook to the cheek out of nowhere. Samia's head snaps back and she bends forward looking for a clinch. Not gonna happen! Halliwell with a jabbing sequence to the breasts, pushes her against the ropes and unloads more punishment, sinks the aching Ghadie on her knees and pours in with more brutal shots all over her stomach. Samia slumps further down, unable to move away from striking distance anymore and Geri tears her gloves with a cross-hooking combo and whacks clean in the brow-ridge with a vicious right hook! DOWN GOES GHADIE, sliding down on her backside and she's in real trouble now, her face a swollen mess. Ref starts the count and Samia pushes herself with both arms to return upright at seven, but looks to be holding back the tears. Hesitant nodding follow and the ref takes a really long look at her before allowing her to continue. Bold decision! Inside the final minute and Samia's rooted to the spot along the ropes, she survived the second knockdown but Geri piles on with more pressure, lands another furious sequence to the stomach followed by a thunderous uppercut to the chin! Samia's guard is non-existent, she has her gloves squashed into her nose as the arms go numb and cannot hold position anymore. She falls to the ropes in agony and Geri catches her in the jaw with another stiff jab! Loud moans of pain from Samia now, she takes another two clean shots to the nose as her arms drop alltogether and she's on the verge of losing consciousness. Hold on! Ref charges in and stops the battering! He grabs Samia around her waist and escorts back to her stool! TKO R5 Geri Halliwell!!!
