Before: Pushing and shoving in surprisingly heated pre-fight...Mary taking objection to the press' label of "Sledgehammer" bestowed upon Jen following the Prejean thunderwhack. "She knocked out Carrie PREJEAN!" Mary stresses at podium. "Please: you don't get a nickname after doing what you're supposed to do. This kid has potential obviously, but so do a lot of other girls at central casting. I'm gonna get to the bottom of Jen Lawrence, believe me. I'm gonna find out what's there." Jen shrugging off Mary's spite - blonde girl still basking in all the "KO of the year" accolades she's been receiving. "I got a nickname for Mary," lynx-eyed Jen jokes at the mic. " 'test-bed Winstead' You know? 'Cause she's where girls go to work on their skills. Like me: I see Mary as another chance to display my thunderous power, but I also want to firm up my all-around game - get her breathing hard; touch her up a bit; confuse her. I want to see that look of exhausted distress in her eyes before I hammer her to sleep!" Mary in metallic cobalt bra and panties set; white gloves; loose brown hair with bangs. Jen grey stretch cotton sport top over navy bikini top and bottoms; white gloves; hair in gymrat ponytail with messy bangs.

Forehead to forehead, punches bouncing off pretty faces or firm bodies...ref has to enforce the bell as overheated vixens keep slugging.

R2: Rising left hook lifts Mary onto her toes: Jen really keying in on chin early! Right hand/left hook Jen: Mary belted back into ropes, eyes glassy. Steady thump of reefing left hooks to Mary's taut midsection: Jen's eyes narrowing in concentration, hips popping-right as she hammers home the hurt. Lovely leverage on these left hands - Jen twisting to her right to lick the left in; snatching the hand back to her own chest on biting follow through, really digging at Mary. Winstead gasping hurt, showing ragged earmuff as she's sponging: she rallies late to compete ferociously at bell, once again bringing in ref hot.

R3: Lead right from Jen punches Mary's drowsy face back...stiff left jab lands...hook toggles chin...Mary's staring here, obviously hurt from accumulation of heavy leather tonight. Winstead over the top with her left: Jen ducks and rolls with it, comes back with her left to Mary's breadbasket: whoofing gust of hurt from Mary as she's slugged up onto her toes again. Trading midring, midround - Jen willfully taking clubbing shots about her head and shoulders in exchange for walking forward and belting away on Mary. Nothing fancy - just good honest blonde belligerence, beating Winstead into ropes, forcing her to cover up and take what's coming. Round ends to the sight of Jen popping her hips into thumping, metronome hooks to Mary's waist...Poor Winstead paralyzed, face-in-gloves as curvy legs hold her up.

During the break, teary-eyed Mary admits to trainer: "I'm hurting" as her ribs are gently prodded - inducing cringe on the stool.

R4: Mary over the top right: Jen covering up, ducking and rolling-with, answering back a stuffing right to breadbasket...the puts 'em shoulder to shoulder and working. Mary belted thick about her midsection; hooked tits and jaw; munching right uppercuts short n' tight inside. Jen bullying her way forward, but at cost: Mary lathering blonde tummy with brisk hup-hup right/lefts; answering hook-for-hook to Jen's tits. Steady give and take drives Mary to ropes: she digs in on apron, looking to survive another round of Jen's mining operations downstairs. Lawrence sets her legs/hips, starts reefing workmanlike hooks to waist/ribcage: bruising thump sounding out loud, drawing moans of sympathy from ringsiders. Poor Mary! Winstead's legs in stiff A frame, butt in ropes...she's taking too much to the body; she can't answer! Mary paralyzed, hands at temples, teeth bared in grimace...Jen's body-hooking her, then pushing her into ropes, setting feet to rip hooks upstairs, then lick the waist right/left THICK! Mary breaking down, getting limp and shabby, guard starting to loosen as Jen slugs Mary's arms out of the way. Mary's face slack, eyes staring...OH THOSE THUMPING HOOKS IN THE BODY! Winstead finally sobbing out loud, draping arms around Jen's shoulders to clinch: Lawrence stacks Mary up with healthy shove under the armpits, ragdolls her and HOOKS HER GOODNIGHT! Mary's head swiveling as her hands drop/eyes click shut...she pools in boneless heap to canvas as Jen looms over top, drawing thumb-across-throat and crowing at slumbering brunette back until ref rushes in. KO4 in brutal fashion Jen Lawrence.

After: Jennifer following up that gaudy Prejean whack with a much more meaningful stoppage of an effective brunette: Lawrence riding high on KO momentum these days. "I've just always had power - especially in my left hand," Jen breezes in postfight, smiling bright. "Mary...she came right into the teeth of my power - challenged me to hurt her, and I did. There wasn't one minute of that fight where I wasn't hitting her good, clean shots, and I knew she couldn't sustain that level of hurt for the distance. She may not have liked the attention I got for destroying Carrie, but come on: ask her now, and I bet she'll admit I've got heavy hands." Indeed, in days to come, Mary will admit to Celebrity Ring: "It felt like Jen had cinderblocks in her gloves," leading to snarky gossip that Lawrence's hand-wraps may not have been to code! Also in days to come, comebacking ASHLEY JUDD very public about wanting to take Jen Lawrence apart, to wit: "There's only ever been one sledgehammer in the FCBA, and you're looking at her!"
