Before: Becky loose, limber in prefight--often jumping out of her seat and throwing air-punches with a big smile during Nadine’s commentary--typical blonde shenanigans. “I’m gonna sample me some fitness skank, just stay busy with Cori, then I’m looking to make ‘04 the year of Rebecca--big names, big money, big fights.” Nadine pretty tough against a tall boxer/puncher who can bring the sock with her right hand--walk-in Cori might have to pay a high price to take this thing late enough to wear Rebecca down. Nadine in silver bikini, Rebecca in black bikini top, gold bikini bottoms, hair up.

During R1: Romijn wasti9ng no time--prepping Nadine a few long, stinging jabs, dropping in a quick right hand to chin that has Cori stepping in fence post holes in the first minute. From there, it’s tall blonde romp--Beck just loving it with long, strapping hooks against Cori’s muscular midriff, those jamming, piercing jabs off the face, lancing right hands down across the left cheek. Nice loping footwork as Becky wheels lanky around her foe, keeping Cori midring, Job of work done as Romijn goes bell to bell, looks Cori over with a bright smile: Nadine already bleeding from the nostril, unable to get out of the way of the rangy work.

R2: Romijn fighting with a wide, dazzling grin--setting her long legs and twisting into multiple hooks rangy and flat against Nadine’s taut tummy: poor Cori hunched up, gloves at her temples as she takes a rooting barrage to her breadbasket. Cori comes forward: Romijn casually lopes out of range, banging that jab in between Cori’s mitts. Cori stops, rotates her torso, trying to get underneath: Romijn lathers her with swinging rights, cranking hooks up underneath--nice sweeping combinations with a fluid rhythm, then lanky-leg to open up the canvas. Another 3 minutes of Romijn getting off, showcasing herself--Nadine’s lower lip busted up and left eye already looking angry.

R3: Romijn bearing down, going flat footed more often to generate more driving power--she wants Cori out of there. First minute--Beck gets that quick jab/right hand on the chin, putting Cori wobbly butt. Second minute--a brace of thumping, long hooks underneath has Cori in a bad way./Becky steps right, extends a measuring left and piles home a crashing right on the chin: Nadine spun a quarter turn to her right, drops to all fours, shaking her head in hurt. Down the stretch, Romijn jabbing Nadine’ s forehead, then sliding in close to lick that shortened up right hard amidships, back with the left biting into waist--Beck leans back out, then suddenly rocks back in, slinging an overhand right upside Nadine’s head and VCOR’S DOWN AGAIN! Cori blasted to her backside at the ropes--busted up, stunned--she somehow beats the count, curvy fitness thighs trembling with the effort.

R4: Romijn a little arm weary from putting it on Cori for 9 straight minutes--credit Nadine’s conditioning for keeping her in the game. Cori starting to get it going: gloves at her cheeks, bobbing and weaving her torso, trying to rotate in hooks to Becky’s long coastline. Romijn easing outside this round, working behind her jab, content to steer Cori, keeping her at arm’s length.

R5: Nadine shivering straight right hand blast to the sternum stacks Romijn up--brunette comes forward with a walking barrage, swinging lefts and rights to drive Becky ropeside. Romijn trying to tie up Nadine’s arms--Cori on her girl’s chest, wrenches free of the clinch, swivels into a tidy left uppercut and ROMJIN’S HURT! Becky’s legs on autopilot--she’s just grabbing head and arm on Nadine, trying to tie her up. Ref issuing breaks, pushing Nadine back--brunette all business, wading in, twisting to start Becky out with a bashing right in her side, then working up-torso with clubbing lefts and rights. All Nadine, all the time--Cori just assaulting a tired and shook Becky along the ropes--Romijn open-mouthed, stunned--looking only for the clinch in a shutout Nadine 5^th.

R6: Romijn circling rangy to the right, jab, jab, jabbing, Nadine from range long range. Poor Cori--rangefinder pounding off her face every couple of seconds, Nadine trying to negotiate it, but getting tracked--Romijn’s back in control. Becky loading up on her back foot, touching Nadine up with jabs, sliding back a little to lure Cori forward, then HAMMERING her gorgeous spearing rights, Nadine determined to wade through it, hoping to get back to the comfy confines of Rebecca’s chest where she can outwork the blonde on the inside--but it’s not happening. Romijn able to place her shots, steadily breaking Nadine down with ruinous blasts on the chin--Cori’s form getting ragged, buttocks wobbling, feet staggering--ref steps in and waves this thing off with Cori coming forward, but basically groggy with punishment. TKO6 Rebecca Romijn.

After: Nadine sobbing a protest in the referee’s arms--she was getting shelled, but that WAS her strategy, Effect on Romijn pronounced, blonde clearly exhausted, arms limp at her sides--one wonders if she could have pulled the second half of this fight out under dogged fitness-competitor pursuit.
