Camilla has aspirations to be BBU lightweight champion, and here she is taking on the fromer champion Rochelle, who has now taken two bad beatings in a row, and who is looking vulnerable.

Round 1

The girls are boxing each other with respect early on here, both of them tucking in behind their guard, reaching out their jab and swapping crisp punches. After a quiet start though, they begin to find their range a little more, and Camilla takes Rochelle to task with neat combo’s, the Brit having to give ground briefly, but she comes back well, lands her best shot in the final exchanges as she clubs Camilla with a left hook, and she opens her up for two more, gets tagged herself though, and she’s defending again at the close of an even round.

Round 2

Both girls come off their stools quickly and they swap shots in the centre of the ring, Rochelle reaches for her left, and now Camilla shocks Rochelle! Maybe Wiseman was not prepared for the American’s power as Camilla delivers her right and sends her down! Rochelle’s up quickly at just 4, and she scowls as she seeks revenge. Now Rochelle wades forwards after the actress, and she starts to land her punches almost relentlessly as she punishes Camilla for flooring her like that. Camilla started off smiling, but the smile disappears as Rochelle lands those hurtful hooks of hers to the face, and switches to the body, recovering and dominating Wiseman gets a 9-10 instead of 8-10 out of it.

Round 3

Rochelle’s starting to take more control, and she’s starting to hurt Camilla, her fists landing on Camilla’s face at will, as the actress simply fails to defend herself properly, seeming to think she can wait for Wiseman to make another mistake. It’s not happening at the moment, though, and a tight, efficient Rochelle just gives her a lesson, and leaves her in the corner at the bell looking bruised and battered as she got beat in all the three minutes.

Round 4

Again Camilla gets more of Rochelle than she wants early on in the round, and it doesn’t improve for the actress as the Brit lays into her to the body again, fixes her to the ropes and sends punches into those ribs. Camilla takes Rochelle’s punches, but she has to answer back, because she’s getting mauled by the singer right now, and when she does try to clinch Wiseman’s got that uppercut working, and the fans cheer to see Belle’s head being popped back by their favourite who hands out a second bell-to-bell lesson as she gets all the minutes again.

Round 5

Rochelle’s still on the hunt, and she gives Camilla more punishment in the early part of the round, whamming her backwards as the actress fails to keep mobile enough, comes in after her to surely put her girl away – but Camilla’s not having it! Belle at last shows she’s able to answer in this round, and now it’s Rochelle who looks a little distresses as the spirited Camilla gives the singer a hard lesson, turning her on the ropes, landing to her mouth, one, two, three, then gives her a few to the body, and she looks like she can maybe pull this around if she can keep up that type of pressure.

Round 6

Camilla starts well in this round and she lays into Rochelle around the body early on, only to get clinches and held by the singer, who shows she can get in tight and mix it up with the older girl. Rochelle’s dominating Camilla again now, pushing her to the ropes and landing, using hand speed and leg speed to keep her girl under the cosh, and she nails her late in the round with a right hook, expects belle to go, but it’s not happening, and Camilla even manages to give the Brit one back to the mouth before the bell ends another Wiseman round.

Round 7

This is good, constant stuff from Rochelle, just wearing Camilla out and slamming her gloves into her now swelling face, the actress still seeming to be unable to stop the blows from landing. Camilla again tries to counter punch off the ropes, manages to slow Wiseman down with a good left hand, but then the girls fall back into the pattern again, with Rochelle jabbing, moving, switching the attack downstairs again, Belle trying to land the big one, but not timing her shots properly, her vision maybe impaired by the amount of leather she’s eaten.

Round 8

Rochelle is way clear in this bout, but she can’t seem to find a punch to even look like putting her opponent away, and Camilla fights back gamely again as the round moves on, catches the singer with two neat right hooks, but she’s come in too close, and Rochelle stuns her this time, ripping a left uppercut between her gloves. Again she thinks she’s done enough, but again Camilla stays on her feet, but now she doesn’t offer any retaliation, and this allows Rochelle to clean her up once more, slamming punches in every time she finds a gap in that sparse defence.

Round 9

The round starts differently this time, and Belle shows some power, slips her right glove over Wiseman’s guard and stuns the singer, but she hasn’t got the energy there to follow in on her wounded prey and Rochelle once again seems to be in control. Those strong early rounds have boosted the singer’s confidence, but she’s starting at last to tire and become ragged as possibly some frustration begins to set into her work – she can’t get the knockdown she wants, and if anything, looks the more vulnerable at times as she leaves herself slightly open to the counter punch.

Round 10

The round starts well again for Wiseman, and she’s in control, pushing Camilla back, and boxing her quite neatly once more, starts to bring the guard down again, but Belle’s countering this time, and she rocks Rochelle with a left hook, and then she’s able to send her down again within the first minute! Wiseman’s been shocked again, by Camilla’s right hand, and is laboured as she gets to her feet at 6. Rochelle’s hurt, but she doesn’t get discouraged and gets at Camilla again with authority almost immediately, then hurts the American more than at any time so far when she lands a three shot combo to her face, and she outboxes the older girl for the whole of the remaining time on the clock, again turning a 10-8 into a 10-9 by the bell.

Despite the two knockdowns, Rochelle Wiseman gets a unanimous points decision over Camilla Belle.

How do the girls look? Rochelle looks relieved, but Camilla looks angry – her next opponent may have to pay the penalty for this decision.
