Pippa has wisely moved down to lightweight, and has an opportunity here to launch herself with a win Orlaith hasn’t fought yet, but she’s not considered a massive hope by the Page Three management.

In the ring, it’s the blonde Irish model who draws the stares in her green bikini, while Pippa wears a white bikini for the fight, a departure from the usual onepiece outfit tonight.

Round 1

Pippa’s in charge right form the start of the round, and she’s pushing and probing, moving Orlaith around the ring like a kid, using her strength and experience to outmuscle the model, and she wastes very little time in getting her girl on the ropes to work her body. But she’s careless, and Orlaith surprises her with a right uppercut to the chin which lands crisply and sends Pippa down! This wasn’t in the script, and Pippa looks woozy as she rises at 7, takes a few more shots before she covers up, then, almost on autopilot as she moves on mechanical legs, a proud Pippa Middleton bounces back, and she hurts the blonde, then almost sits her down with a left, right, left combo near the bell, and almost evens the round up despite the knockdown

Round 2

Out the girls come again, but a tired looking Pippa has spent a lot of energy in the previous round, and her work is less precise here and Orlaith gets through her guard again with ease, again the uppercut doing some damage, but not flooring her. Pippa struggles to regain her balance properly though, and a left hook to the jaw puts her down again in the first minute of the round, and this time she won’t get up!

Orlaith McAllister knocked out Pippa Middleton in round 2.

That is a shocking result for Ms Middleton, who is beginning to look a little like a jobber at the moment. On the other hand, maybe Orlaith has been underestimated – another fight for her in the near future would be a welcome event.
