Before: Charlize Theron stares with hurt eyes into the ring as Cat and Shannon Elizabeth mill about before the bell. “Look, let’s just get this out of the way, Shannon Elizabeth worked on me in our fight--I admit it. But it was just one fight--an off night for me and the best night of Shannon’s life--and she’s crowing about it like she’s the second coming. I think a lot of what cat has said about Shannon is true--she’s just another brawler with a hot glove at the moment and she’s gong to come back to earth at some point. I don’t know that Cat is the girl to do it, but Elizabeth needs to learn some respect for the women that have been there--her attitude needs a total readjustment.

“Cat’s philosophy of going to the body is sound--Shannon’s a wide puncher and needs some room to work--but I just don’t think Bell got the sock she’ll need to make it happen. I’m just afraid that Cat will get clipped and quit in the spot--you’ve got to have serious heart to face Shannon’s power.” Bell in electric blue bikini, Shannon in pale blue push up and panties.

During R1: Cat all business, shuffling nto her left, sharp with the jabs between the eyes, always angling in to hook across Shannon’s tanned abs. Elizabeth loading upon overhand rights--Cat reads it well, rolls with the punches and comes back with a stuffing right hand into Shannon’s gut that has the tall brunette hunching forward and grunting upon impact. Down the stretch, they get to punching, Cat looking to get some respect and BELL GOES DOWN! Dangerous side to side exchange sees Shannon beat Bell to a licking right on the chops and Bell gets dropped to her backside. Shannon hooting in derision, posing with her right glove like it’s a smoking gun as Berll gets shakily to her feet, shakes the cobwebs out at the bell.

R2,3: Diligent work from Cat to get those knockdown points back--she works her game plan to perfection in these rounds. Bell controlling distance well--she’ll jab to get in close, then outwork Elizabeth face on face--Bell’s gloves greedily lapping up and down Shannon’s delicious torso, backing the big brunette up. Cat’s also countering that big right hand well--rolling with it and coming back with the slinging right to the belly. Finally, Bell’s footwork is quietly effective--she’ll clinch and turn, walk her girl around, never letting Shannon set her feet. Elizabeth growing frustrated--mind blows might be as effective as the body blows at this point.

R4: Shannon shortens up in her punches and starts to lick upwards with her strokes and a bruising toe to toe war of attrition breaks out. Jugs are indiscriminately mugged this round as the lanky limbed brunettes work away on one another with curling lefts and right, rotating in a tight counterclockwise circle midring. Hard round to score, but Elizabeth gets into a nice rhythm late, dipping and pumping up with her right mitts against Cat’s right breast to possibly eke out the points.

R5: Corner tells Cat “You’re doing great, keep crowding her, but listen: I need you to start setting down on your punches--we gotta start taking something out of this girl.” Bell responds with her best round as Elizabeth shows signs of wilting. Cat using her forehead against Shannon’s chin, using her palms against Shannon’s biceps--Bell pushing and brawling at close range, lashing it up to the waist and bra as Elizabeth can’t get her balance. Final minute sees Shannon bullied to the ropes--Cat using her head and elbows roughly inside to push her girl back, create room for the raking lefts and rights across the body. Elizabeth scoured raw at the bell--baring her teeth in hurting grimace--that’s Cat Bell boxing.

R6: Shannon shows she’s no prima-donna--she comes out eager to get payback and changes her look--using a looping underhand right to the body to pick Cat up as Bell forages inside. More clinching and pushing, but Elizabeth doing a better job of getting the separation she needs, finally ringing up Bell’s head with some stern overhand rights that have the champ stepping sideways at times. Good raucous round--wildness suits Shannon as it’s Bell who can’t find her rhythm this round.

R7: Bell comes in looking to palm up on bicep, but Shannon guts her with a stand and deliver Sharon Stone style galloping series of lefts and rights to the breadbasket--Bell rejected for the first time, steps out, takes a big ragged breath band looks hurt. Elizabeth walks her down, now bouncing big looping right hands off the guard and head or sweeping lefts up across the jugs--Bell in wobbly butt retreat tries to clear her head. Elizabeth finally traps Cat in a corner and opens up I earnest, palming her left hand against Cat’s chest, then ROARING over the top with shredding rights--CAT’S IN TROUBLE! Bell swooning, staring at the incoming, head getting pancaked by the crashing impacts--Theron clapping anxiously, she wants Cat hurt, but doesn’t want Elizabeth to win. AND THE REF JUMPS IN! Shannon leaps away giddy with triumph--Ref cradles a badly beaten Cat Bell, still vibrating from the punishment and we have a NEW lightweight champ via TKO7.

After: Shannon puts the belts over one shoulder, puts her arm around Cat’s slender waist and takes the woozy ex-champ for a brazen walk of shame, halting to stare down at smoldering Charlize Theron en route. “Say it with me,” crows a jubilant Shannon Elizabeth in post fight. “Dunning. Theron. Bell. All KO’d. All stopped. All stretched. I AM the wind of change. It’s over for these girls--they’ve all got to go to the back of the line. I know bell and Charlize are going to be aching to get ‘this’ (gestures grandly to her body) back in the ring, but they’re going to have to fight over me first. Nobody gets to ‘The Greatest’ without proving themselves first. No more free passes.” Shannon Elizabeth ascends the throne and it doesn’t look good--she’s a huge punching brawler with a penchant for puppet mastery and a distinct predilection for tyranny. Long live the queen.
