BEFORE: "All I'm gonna say about the Spring Breakers shoot is this," Selena announces in prefight. "At the start of the shoot, Hudgens was full-on bullying me; by the end, she was only keying on Benson. So was I. It was such a great growth experience for me, to be thrown in with Vanessa with no support, no backup, and forced to stand up for myself. I went into that movie a lamb, and I came out a lioness, and that's what I want to prove on Gellar. Selena G's not just another pretty face guys: I'm here to fight!"

Gellar impassive throughout...veteran blonde's seen/heard/lived it all before. "Girls like Selena typically see me as the gateway fight towards credibility," Sarah allows at podium. "To me, it's my job to hold them back as long as possible. Gomez is tall, lanky - doesn't look very strong or tough to me. Think the thing to do is probably bang her body some, see if she can handle it, and if she can't, well...she won't be the first Disney girl flash in the pan!" Selena in soft baby blue bikini with shoe-string tie between jugs; white gloves; hair in high ponytail. Gellar in white bandeau top; black bikini bottoms; black gloves with white knuckle bands; hair in slick blonde ponytail.

During R1: Sarah feinting, spooking Selena early - leads to spanking hooks tummy and jug as Gomez sets her guard too high. Minute mark - nice cleaving overhand right pounds onto Selena's mouth, backing her up...Gomez concerned, but keeping herself together as Gellar hops-forward. Bat-bat-bat lefts and rights tan Selena's waist - she jabs in reprisal, but Gellar slips inside, hooks those ingenue jugs to force more retreat upon Gomez. Down the stretch, Selena anchored on apron in wide stance...she gets the busy left jab going, the slap-chop short right...Gellar tick-tock slipping side to side, encountering stiff resistance as Gomie denies the shutout.

R2: Gomez with high right hand/spitting jab look...Sarah slipping side to side, then hopping in to hook Gomie's tits. Selena frowning, obviously trouble by Gellar's cutey-pie moves and quicks...as Selena's withdrawing, Sarah steps with, slap-chops a right hand to jug, belting those beauties in forget-me-not fashion. Selena shows leg - lithely motoring clockwise around the ring - occasionally spreading out into wide stance to jab up from the hip. Sarah stalking - parrying poke with her right hand, always looking for chances to slip inside Selena's jab, hop close and hook jug tidy. Down the stretch, girls playing this cat-and-mouse game...Sarah executes her slip/hop/hook routine to perfection, hacking the left hand to chin instead of jug...Gomie's legs give a shimmy, her eyes widen as she staggers ragged into ropes. Sarah encroaching - left shoulder pointed at wounded Selena...Gomez hurt, looks to load up right, but Sarah beats her to it, turning into a TIGHT, curling right through Gomie's chin, swiveling brunette head! Selena's hands drop to waist, eyes glaze over as she sits into ropes in swoon...bell sounds before Sarah can apply finishing touches to damaged starlet goods!

R3: Nice recovery for Gomez - young legs proving resilient after a close-call second. She sets up behind a long up-jab from a wide stance - leaning in to slap-chop the right, then sliding back/drifting to her right while flicking out the jab. Gellar coming up short on her hooks as a result - meanwhile Gomie's peppering blonde-girl face and pate for ooints. Gomez brightening at bell - stepping springy to her corner: she just shut out a very experienced blonde girl over 3 minutes.

R4: Gellar looping right hands over Selena's pesky jab; hopping in short hooks...Gomez pumping poke, using her legs to create space, engaging Sarah via crowd-pleasing slinging right hands. Frisky stuff for two minutes - fighters circling, tagging each other, answering every slight - wheels pop off Gellar's applecart late when Gomie finds chin via right uppercut off the back (right) plant leg. Sarah staring, startled, chin up nice and high for Selena's oily left hook (also off the right leg). Sarah clipped, legs a-tremble...she backs off hurt, yielding canvas to suddenly aggressive Gomez. Selena stalks Sarah to ropes; tests her via stinging one-two up top as Sarah covers up, then GOMIE'S BATTING HOOKS! Weight on left leg - Selena popping supple hips-right, lapping that left hand whap-whap-whap against quivering blonde breadbasket...nothing Sarah can do but sit in the ropes and soak! Bell: Selena hops away grinning; Sarah grimacing, looking shabby.

R5: Sarah presses the attack - hopping in hooks-to-jug; looping overhand rights in hopes of catching Selena backing straight up. Gomez wide-eyed, getting slugged onto her heels/forced into retreat...leggy brunette lanky about the ring, gradually creating enough space and time to work with. Down the stretch - Selena in good position on apron: wide stance; upjabs; slap-chopping right hands, then lean-away escapes back into ropes. Gellar bobbing on the spot, working short, clubbing left/rights to brunette ribs - grim job of work for Sarah here, looking to break Gomie down. Rangy left uppercut Selena G - she picks Sarah up out of her crouch, stunning the Slayer: looping overhand right crashes off Sarah's left eye and BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Sarah sprawling to her back - legs stretching out straight and stiff - head rickety up off canvas...Gomez hooting as she jogs past blonde rubble, leaping into neutral corner ropes, pounding right hands at her chest. Sarah stricken, can't get off her back...KO5 Selena Gomez in turn-around fashion.

After: Selena choosing not to give in - she was hurt, destitute at the end of the second, and willed herself to devastate Sarah in turn. "I showed the tuffness," Selena beams, left eye sporting a swelling shiner courtesy Sarah's punishing work. "I'm not that same little girl who got pushed around at the start of my career - weeks of Vanessa Hudgens either makes you or breaks you. I put Sarah on her back guys, and she's just the first of many. I'm talking about girls like Nina Dobrev going down - Lilo - Kristen Bell - yes, even Hayden Panettiere. All I need is the fights, and I will get there!"
