Hectic atmosphere before the rematch. Bibb's entourage carry a large photo of Mendes crawling to her corner with a joyful Leslie celebrating in the background. "This might not be good enough for Tractorpull, but BLONDE! have paid extra cash to get exclusive photoshoot of tonight's rematch. Anytime a blonde beats the crap out of a Latin brunette, it's a reason to celebrate over there", Leslie has given more interviews the past 24 hours then last 24 months as she dwells on the new found spotlight.

Mendes has been hiding in the Bradenton gym the past 24 hours, trying to sort out her minds as well as body. "Glass jaw? They wish! I've never seen so much luck in the ring! Leslie doesn't even punch that hard!", the firey Latina is eager to avenge her shocking loss, but the odds are against her. Bibb has gotten into Eva's head according the experts and allthough the knockout was mostly down to Mendes' careless approach rather then blonde's terrific punching skills, one can imagine Leslie would raise her game even further tonight. "I can spot a fluke when I see one", Eva rages in the pre-fight interview, "Leslie will be torn apart, it's always more satisfying to win a rematch anyway!"

Leslie enters the ring in jubilant fashion, flashes smiles all across the arena, Mendes strictly business in the opposite corner. Just wants to get this underway already. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Cautious start this time, Bibb throws some single jabs but fails to connect as Eva dances around her in mid-range, lacing the flesh with similar response. Neither woman wants to blast out early, but Mendes ups the tempo, leaps back and forth, sends more shots and catches the blonde's midsection on a regular basis. Leslie cracks a couple of hooks around the head, but Eva ducks underneath, continues to work on the ribcage, slowly but effectively pushes the blonde back. Leslie swings more shots to the head, looks to repeat yesterday's performance, but Eva's superior footwork enables her to weave around this menacing efforts. Straight jabs on the chest push Leslie even further away but she fires low jabs to the ribs and finally catches the brunette late in the round. Left/right combo on the chin and Mendes covers up, throws an overhand left, nails Leslie on the mouth, piles with jabbing sequence to the guts. Bibb moans in pain but slices her rival across the nose with a solid right cross. Eva's head snaps back, but she leans on the blonde, pins her against the ropes and cleans out her midsection as Leslie forces a clinch to survive the opening round.

Round 2:
Encouraged by the start, Mendes shows more aggression in the seconds, she closes Bibb down quickly and throws some shots to the stomach, clips the breasts and works around the head as well. Leslie answers with similar display, leans on the Latina and whacks her in the ribcage, swings few hooks around the head as both women seem to dwarf each other with physical strenght. High-tempo punchfest gets the crowd on their feet as Eva sends more jabs to the midsection however Leslie catches her with a fine uppercut between the gloves and snaps her head back. Mendes' unmoved, but misses a left cross, Bibb counters with a big right hook on the exposed ribs, flicks another uppercut on the chin and Eva wobbles back! Leslie with some jabs to the chest, Mendes covers up, retreats but a quick leap from Bibb enables her to maintain the close proximity. Left/right combo rocks the brunette, big right hook catches her in the cheek, left uppercut on the jaw and Mended falls onto the ropes, struggling under the blonde's barrage! Leslie with that vicious display again, pummels Eva to the body, looks to shatter her gloves apart, but can't make it stick. Mendes weaves around on her feet, unable to jump into safety, low jabs around the elbows inflict further damage, Leslie leans on her, cracks more half-uppercuts to the chin, Eva eats her own leather as Leslie pushes the gloves across her face. Big right hook finally splits the Latina's mitts and a left cross leaves her stranded at the ropes at the bell. Bibb flying rampant here!

Round 3:
Another disaster for Mendes in the making, but she thrives on adversity, comes firing after her opponent, determined not to make her look like a true aggressor. Bibb blocks her early charge, cracks a left cross to the chin, follows with a right jab on the ribs and Eva winces in pain before slashing a left hook on the temple. Leslie bends forwards, jabs to the guts but gets laced with a right cross to the cheek and steps back. Mendes moves after her, laces to the midsection, backs the blonde against the ropes and looks for more but Leslie nails her in the cheek with another of those half-uppercuts. Sub-par defence from both women, they continue to trade punches along the ropes, keen to wreck each other rather then produce a tactical clash for the purists. It's getting personal, Mendes targets the blonde's midsection, finds more holes around the elbows and peppers the ribcage repeatedly. Bibb with single jabs from the top, misses a couple of crosses, but nails Mendes in the mouth again and stops her run briefly. Both girls clinch shortly afterwards and look to catch some respite as ref shoves the brunette away to force a break. Right cross just misses her nose as Leslie leaps forward, single-strikes to the head and has Mendes backing away to the opposite side. Spirited effort from the blonde who keeps hassling her rival around, but Eva escapes further trouble thanks to her slightly better footworl. Bibb looks angry at the bell, she couldn't quite build on that excellent R2 performance.

Round 4:
Leslie with a positive start, cracks an early hook to the body, backs Mendes away, follows with a straight jab to the breasts and charges with more jabs to the stomach. Eva weaves around the ropes, looks to keep the distance and doesn't engage in any punching trade-off. Some fitness concerns for the brunette? Bibb suddenly looks quicker of the two, throws repeated jabs to the body, crashes off the arms too often, but keeps the pressure on, Mendes' gone AWOL, single-strikes with little effect, dances around the ropes with no clear game-plan, allows more shots to the body as Leslie finds some accuracy. Late in the round Bibb picks up more stream, lashes out with even more effort, cracks soem shots between the arms, leaps forward, big uppercut on the breasts has Mendes moaning, left cross counter goes wayward and Leslie pins the lacklustre opponent to the ropes, cracks a right hook on the mouth, left on the temple and Eva sinks on her knees just as the bell sounds. Bibb shakes her glove in delight, she moves further ahead on points and indicates that yesterday's KO2 was no fluke after all.

Round 5:
Kim Basinger all over Mendes' ear during the interval. Bout heads into a dangerous direction for LCA faithful, losing to Bibb once was a disaster itself but a double beating would be almost too much to handle for the Bradenton based stable. Where is that famous Latin character? Totally absent so far, but Eva seems to have acknowledged her trainer's pep talk; she charges off her stool and doesn't waste any time by hanging around the ropes. Here comes the stand-off as Leslie moves on her with a devilish smile on her face. Left hook on the temple; Bibb claims the first punch, but gets laced in the stomach with a jabbing combo, left cross on the mouth, right on the cheek follow... Bibb misses a left hook herself, doesn't even try a follow up, Mendes slams her with another right on the mouth, Leslie's head snaps back as Eva pummels her rack, backing further away... Right hook above the gloves, clean on the eye, left follow-up on the temple.. furious display from Mendes who unloads some heavy artillery... DOWN GOES BIBB flat on her back as she really took one punch too many in that exchange. Eva glares over her as ref starts the count. Leslie's face begins to swell but she pushes herself with both arms at seven.. eyes misty and not as venomous as before. Mendes notices that and begins the harrassement... Bibb on the back foot, looks to catch some breath as that knockdown might have been more serious then anticipated. Eva laces her from mid-range, keeps running back and forth around the ropes, prey has become the vulture and Leslie looks truly shaken. Methodical display from the brunette now, she teases with a wounded rival, fakes some jabs and smiles upon seeing a rushed response from Bibb. Single shots from the blonde go nowhere and Mendes peppers her body from mid-range again, firmly keeps her on the back foot until the bell.

Round 6:
Leslie doesn't look as confident as she did few minutes ago, Mendes' superior footwork gives her the advantage again as she hassles the blonde along the ropes, blocks a weak jabbing sequence, unloads a flurry of shots to the chest, cracks more jabs to the ribs! Cumbersome Leslie finds no response as she sinks on the ropes underneath that barrage, huge right uppercut splits her mitt and moments later a left cross on the nose SENDS BIBB TUMBLING DOWN ON THE CANVAS!!! Mendes with some Latin power on hand and in a matter of minutes Bibb crumbles down like Vanilla Ice's career. Severe punch-resistance issues for the blonde as she scrambles herself back at eight, face badly messed up now with the eyes misty and soulless. Ref checks up on her but gives thumbs up as Eva begins to harrass her again. Leslie dances around the ropes, looks to keep the distance as long as possible but her footwork is no match for the brunette. Mendes tracks her down easily, sends more jabs to the midsection, Bibb hopes for a clinch, but gets laced in the ribs again and falls on the ropes. Eva with single-strikes from the top, pounds the hapless blonde with no resistance, more teasing with the prey. Leslie covers up, hopes to survive this round, gets rocked with a big left hook and jumps to the side to avoid another from the right. Eva leans on her again, backs to the ropes with more jabs to the stomach, left uppercut on the chin, straight between the gloves. Trademark Bibb punch gets mocked with little sympathy. Leslie's head snaps back and a right follow up smashes her on the chin again!! DOWN GOES LESLIE ON HER KNEES for the second time this round!!! Mendes just walks back to her corner as Leslie's on all fours, sobbing in pain. All over? Nope.... heroic effort from the blonde as she climbs back upright at nine, personal nature of her feud with Mendes injected a last dose of energy, but Bibb looks battered anyway. Eva doesn't rush with the kill, wants to destroy the blonde mentally, force her into throwing-in the towel during the interval. Leslie can barely walk to her corner but she doesn't quit on the stool. First KO in twelve years yesterday enables her to salvage some pride and don't back it up with a towel throw. Would be an epic disaster for BLONDE! if that happened.

Round 7:
Leslie has nothing left in the tank, she remains glued to the ropes early in the seventh and almost invites the brunette to finish her off. Mendes finally pounces on her helpless rival, slams more jabs to the stomach, flicks couple of hooks to the breasts, spikes a cross to the mouth. Leslie moans with every punch, can't raise her arms quickly enough as Eva slams couple of more jabs across her face. She rocks her head with a left/right combo, Leslie's body goes numb and she falls straight into onrushing ref's embrace who waves it off on the spot.. TKO R7 Eva Mendes!!!

Post-fight:
Impressive comeback from the brunette who completes her revenge and leaves Leslie Bibb in all sorts of bother. "I knew she couldn't handle my punch!", a relieved Eva admits in post-fight interview: "Yesterday was pure luck, but today I beat her woozy! She's vulnerable when someone enforces a physical side of boxing and let's admit it, she's a mentally fragile tramp. When going gets tough, she quits. I nearly had her throwing the towel after the sixth. She was so absent from here, she couldn't find it, that's why she didn't give up there! I hope BLONDE! press offce won't explode after tonight. I shattered all the rumours, odds, bets and whatever else. I'm even with Leslie now and I don't think she will have the guts to challenge me again for a long while! But if she does, well... she knows my number, so I won't rule anything out. Beating any blonde makes me happy, no matter what Valmore says!"

As Eva concludes her interview, a sobbing Leslie leaves the ring away from the spotlight, a complete turnaround from yesterday. Hero to zero display for the perky blonde but Cobie Smulders won't mind. According to BLONDE! and several other media pundits, Bibb/Smulders rivalry is set to continue later this summer and bring more attention to couple of lower-ranked bantams. Meanwhile Eva Mendes is set to go after Kate Beckinsale next which should provide even more fireworks and make a highlight of any PPV card.
