Before: Lima signing on with Odds & Ends looking to build on her success as an unmanaged fighter, winning four of her last five bouts, looks confident during weight ins. Rosario getting her third fight with the I.F.F.I. is coming off one of her best performances a seventh round TKO of Diane Kruger. The pair do the normal stair down photos and other posses after the weigh in, but neither cracks a smile during the 10 minute shoot. During the press conference portion the pair never look at one another and only referee to each other as ‘her’ or ‘my opponent’.

After Diana Agron is helped from the ring it’s doesn’t take long for Adriana to make her arrival. Lima in a maroon string bikini, with small black gloves and boots; the brunette’s hair is pulled back tight in a high ponytail, not a single hair daring to be out of place. Being the home fighter Rosario comes out second with Sally Richardson leading her to the ring. Dawson’s hair hangs loose just above her shoulders, the New Yorker dress in a dark pink string bikini with yellow trim; yellow gloves with red laces and matching boots complete her togs. During the pre-fight instructions the Brazilian stands tall showing off her three inch height advantage.

ROUND 1: Circling Adriana keeps Rosario at bay with her reach advantage jabbing at the American from distance. Dawson bats most of the attempts aside, but Lima scores with a decent percentage of the punches thrown. Lima leaves the jab extended too long just once, and Rosario is inside in a flash with a trio of left hooks to the ribs just below the brunette’s bikini string. Adriana bunches up leaning to her right, but Rosario plows in with heartless body blows backing the model to the ropes. Head down Dawson pumps lefts and rights into the Brazilian breadbasket, Lima hugs Rosario forcing a break. Dawson tries to track down the model again, but Adrianna uses her height advantage to jab while backing away to keep the New Yorker off her until the bell. Score cards all give the round 10-9 to Dawson.

ROUND 2: Adriana keeps her distance finding the range on her jab that keeps Dawson from countering off it again. Rosario working hard to get inside again on the Brazilian gives up the early lead, but patience pays off as Rosario slips inside and finds Lima’s flank just above the hip open. Rosario’s body shop is open again as she works the taller brunette’s washboard abs, the snaps Adriana’s head back with a short upper cut to the chin. Lima reaches around Dawson and digs her gloves up under the American’s arms locking her up and waiting for the referee to separate them. Given space Lima falls back to defensive jabs and making Rosario come after her to try and follow-up, at the bell Adriana is steady once again, but at the cost of dropping another 10-9 round to Dawson.

ROUND 3: Lima changes up her style, instead of trying to outreach Dawson she’s now moved in closer and set her feet getting much more power with her jabs and hooks. Rosario settles in willing to accept Adriana’s challenge as the fight slows to a heavy handed slug-fest. Several times one or the other boxer has to clutch to regroup and more often it’s Lima as Dawson hammers away. Adrianna though is nearly matching the Iffy fighter blow for blow and draws a ‘OOOHHH’ from the crowd with one uppercut that snaps Dawson’s head back, but in the end Rosario out slugs Adriana for another 10 -9 round.

Round 4: Between rounds Adriana nods repeatedly as her corner-woman rattles off in the models native Portuguese. The talk must have been continue to do what you did in the third, because Lima comes out and moves right in on Dawson trading heavy hands. Adriana looks more comfortable this round even under the blistering assault from Rosario, the Brazilian now giving more than she’s taking. Rosario tries to clinch, but a shove from the South American is followed by a big right to the cheek and Dawson staggers backwards to the ropes. Lima works tummy and tits for points as Rosario leans against the ropes protecting her head and doing just enough to keep thoughts of a stoppage out of the referee’s head. At the bell Adriana heads back to her corner like she’s walking the runway the cards favoring her 10-8 on all of them.

Round 5: Rosario shrugs off the fourth round and comes out throwing punches in the fifth. Lima still following the more successful game plan for her matches the bitter slugging. Adriana finding it harder to get through Dawson’s defenses also has to clinch several times after body blows steal her breath. Dawson is forced to take the safety of the clinch a few times as well, but it’s clear she’s out working Adriana this round. The fans getting more ruckus as the lightweight each take bra shots now when available, may not to the level of a JMD match, but work is done by both women. In the end Rosario just lands more punches and heavier ones, Adriana just hasn’t found the big punch. Cards are all 10-9 Dawson.

ROUND 6: Lima not giving up moves back in for more, Rosario steps up to the plate too and both swing for the fences. It’s a bitter battle mid ring and the Brazilian is winning this one, taping combinations to Dawson’s body and head. Rosario is the one clinching more now as Adriana pounds at the New Yorker’s back and sides until the referee calls for the break. The crowd is getting their money’s worth on this fight as Adriana chips away at the Iffy fighter and takes pot shots at Rosario’s top for points and favor with the crowd. Dawson pouty lipped suffers as she can’t turn the tide of this round and soaks up the punishment. Rosario keeps it close and a late flurry ensure she’s not getting routed in the round, but turns out to be a case of too little too late as Lima takes it 10-9

ROUND 7: Adriana lets her right fly off the bell just missing hitting Rosario square, that punch though sets the pace for some hard hitting action in the seventh. Gloves bite into flesh over and over, shoulders, arms, stomach, juggs and face, this round is a meat grinder style fighting. Sweat sprays off their bodies as the leather smacks home, very few times do either of the brunette’s reach for a clinch as the action continues hot and heavy. Lima puts and uppercut into Rosario’s solar plexus bunching up the I.F.F.I lightweight, Dawson hurting takes more rights and lefts, but her legs hold. Adriana trying for the knockout gets to open and Rosario jabs jugg with gusto to keep the Brazilian from laying down more hurt on her. At the bell both women trudge back to their corners battle weary, Lima taking the round 10-9. The corners both work fast to minimize the effects of the previous round, both women need their tops retied to ensure they’re not knocked off by the intense action.

ROUND 8: Rosario and Adriana both pop up for more, it’s amazing that both are still as strong as they are after the pounding they have been dishing out on each other. After dropping a pair of rounds in a row Dawson comes out fast, cutting down the distance even more as delivering power punches inside. Lima tries working angles and getting some space, but the North American just out works her keeping the Brazilian squared up and hammering away. Adriana’s punches just don’t match up this round with the power of Dawson and Rosario keeps the model from resetting the terms. This is Rosario’s best round since the fifth and she continues to out box Lima to the bell taking another 10-9 round.

ROUND 9: Just more hammer and tongs action as neither woman changes their approach, they are just going to keep hitting each other until one of them gives. Welts are apparent on every part of their bodies above the waist. Lima smacks leather into Rosario’s no existent love handles just about the knot of the yellow and pink bikini bottoms. Rosario’s mits find the model’s belly button several times before Dawson’s right splits Lima’s gloves clouting into her chin. Lima tries to recover, but Rosario keeps the pressure on with lefts and rights to the body. Adriana refuses to give the ground up though firing back, the short burst is stopped with a hooking right that catches Lima in the ribs behind her left elbow. For the second round in a row Dawson pulls out a 10-9 slugfest advantage.

ROUND 10: At the beginning of the final round the fighters touch gloves, they may not like each other, but after this fight it’s going to be hard for either not to respect her opponent. Dawson jumps out to an early advantage hammering Adriana back to the ropes for one of the few times in the fight. The Brazilian cringing as Dawson works her body, but Lima slides out the side and with a right cross puts Rosario on the ropes. The model throwing wild heavy handed punches tries to bludgeon the I.F.F.I. woman out. Rosario though won’t be stopped firing back and punching her way off the ropes, Lima is caught with the upper cut to the solar plexus. As the model’s arms drop Dawson plow’s righty into Lima’s décolletage. Even with the fight winding down the action doesn’t stop right up to the bell Dawson is hammering clubbing blows on to Adriana’s body, the Brazilian answers best she can, but knows time is not on her side.

AFTER: There is only a short break for the fighters to walk to their corners while score cards are collected. The Ring announcer brings the fans the judge’s decision, “Judge Charles Ward Scores the fight 96-93, Judge Randolph Carter Scores the fight 96-93, Judge Richard Pickman Scores the fight 96-93, for your winner by Unanimous Decision…THE I.F.F.I’s ROSARIOOOOOO DAWSON!”

Again it’s only a quick slap of the hands between the competitors and the two corners, but the fans cheer both women for a great fight as exhausted fighters climb out of the ring. Dawson leaves smiling slapping hands with her fellow Iffy fighters. The two Wins match the best night of the I.F.F.I.
