BBU: "ODDS & ENDS IN THE U.K.." PPV

Before: Another get-ready for championship bout for soon-to-be BBU bantamweight challenger Clara Morgane. Kendra a compact, powerful slugger at fly or bantam.

Both girls in triangle-cut tie-side bikinis, Kendra’s black with pink ties, Clara’s solid beige. Clara’s hair wet and straight down her back, Kendra’s up in a high pony-tail. White gloves all around.

Rd 1: Kendra comes out inviting Clara inside to slug, gloves held low, flat-footed. Clara doesn’t take the bait, keeps her distance, spitting out jabs as she circles. Kendra shrugs, starts to close in, gets in a pair of hooks to the body, but she’s still wide open in that low guard and GETS TAGGED BY A BIG LEFT HOOK. Kendra scoots to her glutes, up quickly, NOW she gets her gloves up. Kendra still shaky, Clara comes roaring out of the neutral corner. Morgane is looking to end this thing right now, and pours herself at her blonde, driving her onto the ropes. Paradoxically, Kendra is showing better defense then we’ve ever seen from her, good fluid guard, giving her opponent angles. She doesn’t have an answer to the Frenchwoman’s jab, but every time Clara tries to get something heavier off with either hand, she doesn’t hit anything but Kendra’s shoulders. Early body shots earn Kendra some respect, as Clara refuses to body up, content to keep her blonde rival penned in till the bell.

Rd 2: Kendra comes in slow and wary this time, looking for Clara to take up where she left off. For most of the round, though, Morgane is not interested, circling, relying on her jab. Wilkinson’s defense still better than anything we’ve seen from her before, Morgane just can’t get any serious damage in since that knockdown last round. Finally, Clara gambles, comes inside to get at Kendra’s body. Kendra is forced back into the ropes, at close quarters she can’t adjust fast enough and now Clara can punish that body. If she can’t protect herself, she’ll just punch her way out, which she proceeds to do, going upstairs to send Clara reeling back with straight shots to the forehead, with a right cross to the jaw sending her stutter-stepping sideways just as the bell rings. Tight round scored for Clara, but she definitely paid cash for it.

Rd 3: A good round does not a fight make, as Kendra comes out hard and fast, making a beeline for Clara. Clara ducks a telegraphed right hook, comes out of the crouch with a go-home right uppercut that catches Kendra square on the jaw, and the count-out is a formality as Clara notches up the KO3!

After: Clara makes a belt-sign at Imogen Thomas in the ring-side seats. Thomas out of her seat and up at the security fence immediately, being restrained by security as Latin Union corner crew keeps Morgane from coming throught the ropes. “Slag” & “Crapaud” are the least of the insults exchanged in the bi-lingual jawing session, which gets downright multilateral as the rest of the Kats and Unionists in the stands get involved. Security frantically trying to keep an all-out riot from erupting as challenger and champ have to be physically restrained.

Kim Kardashian also hanging over the security fence, parroting her understanding of whichever insult the European girls are currently yelling loudest, blissfully unaware that she's the only one yelling at Kendra.
