TESS VALMORE

ATKINSON/ RUAH This was not much of a fight. Atkinson was clumsy and sloppy wildly swinging and seldom landing. Ruah took advantage of her opponents problems by picking her apart in the first two rounds. In the third, Ruah put down the hammer, finally flooring the big blonde. Atkinson would manage to make it to her feet, but was defenseless and the referee justifiably stopped the fight

ROWLAND/ PERRY The two lightweights put on an entertaining bout. It was more of a puncher/ boxer type fight. Perry had a great first round decking Rowland. Rowland came back to take the next round, While Rowland was moving better, Perry’s power shots gave her a big lead at the end of six. By the end of the ninth Rowland had closed the lead but she decided to stay outside in the tenth. Once again Perry’s power shots gave her the round and the decision

CYRUS/ SONG In the Rowland fight, she ran when she shouldn’t have and lost the fight. In this fight, Song didn’t run when she should have and lost the fight, Song dropped Cyrus in the first round and then let Cyrus come back to take the second. After that, it was all Song. She pounded Cyrus round after round and going into the ninth had a lead so big, that all she had to do was stay on her feet for the last two rounds. Instead Song decided to go inside. Huge mistake. Cyrus caught her with a huge uppercut and Song’s fine night ended in disaster. Paris has to be wondering if she traded the wrong fighter
