DUNWICH MANSION SHOW

BEFORE: JOJO has a bit more experience in the FCBA, this is Ksenia’s third fight she’s still looking for her first win. It’s Solo though that’s more talkative at the press conference, poking fun at JoJo’s name, “I thought they signed me to fight a dancing bear. That happens in Latvia.” JoJo does not look pleased. The weigh ins show Ksenia near the bottom of Flyweight and JoJo coming in at a few pounds under the max. Solo is an inch taller though, and doesn’t seem intimidated by the solid singer. Posing for the photos turns adventurous as JoJo chests into Solo and the two go nose to nose for several moments. Jojo in hot pink bra-style bikini; black gloves; dark hair loose, tangly. Ksenia to honor her native Latvia has chosen a maroon and white fighting bikini with red gloves and white boots for tonight. Solo’s short black hair hangs loose just above her shoulders, with fighting bangs.

ROUND 1: Solo bouncing around throws some testing jabs, JoJo knocking the gloves aside and crowding in for some quick body work. Ksenia dances away, but JoJo cuts her off and hits some more power punches to the body. Solo punches her way out again, but the American blocks her off again. JoJo smacking Ksenia arms and shoulder to stop her from fluttering around and follows up with more body work trying to muscle up on the willowy brunette. Ksenia hands are quicker, but JoJo is diffidently packing more pop and takes round one 10 – 9

ROUND 2: JoJo starts off crowding again, the I.F.F.I. corner calling for Solo to move more. The singer though has the IFFY fighter bunched up and fighting toe to toe with the more powerful fighter. Ksenia hugs JoJo after a hard shot to the ribs steals the Latvian’s breath. After the break Solo changes up, staying at distance and jitter bugging in and out with quick hit and run strikes. JoJo more often is left swinging at air. The round winding down and Ksenia is just finding openings all over the singers torso and even gives JoJo a mocking chance to pop Solo on the chin, but JoJo whiffs. Ksenia even things up with a 10-9 round.

ROUND 3: Ksenia is just so much quicker with her hands and feet, JoJo looks likes she’s swinging at a Matrix character as Solo leans way back to avoid punches then snaps back up to touch up JoJo as she tries to right herself. Ksenia takes advantage of JoJo’s brawler instincts, slipping by to attack the flanks of the younger girl. JoJo grows more frustrated as the round goes on and Ksenia finds way past the singers defenses and avoids nearly all of the blows coming back. From bell to bell Solo controls things, JoJo stomps angry butt back to her corner as Ksenia takes a second round in a row 10-9.

ROUND 4: Solo’s bendy back style is nullifying JoJo’s brawler tendencies, the singer hasn’t scored a solid hit since early in the second round. Now Ksenia is turning up the pressure with more solid punches. The Latvian still keeps her distance, maybe a memory of her fight with Danielle Harris, as similar fighter to JoJo that caught Solo when she tried jump in and finish her. Ksenia though is really starting to stun JoJo, a left to the jaw sends the singer staggering. Solo chases JoJo down against the ropes and sends JoJo’s juggs a jumping with uppercuts. The bell sounds a grumpy JoJo heading to her corner, Ksenia dances back to her corner again taking it 10-9.

ROUND 5: Ksenia nearly runs across the ring, ducks JoJo’s first swing before drilling the singer in the gut. Solo is now pushing the singer around, a left to the cheek is followed by a right to the chin. Ksenia backs JoJo to the ropes, and over hand right dims the American’s lights. Ksenia knocks JoJo’s arms aside and goes to the bra. JoJo tearing up as she’s mugged on the ropes, a right to the face leaves the singer arms down and Solo goes back to the juggs until the referee stops the fight. SOLO TKO 5.

AFTER: Ksenia runs over climbing one of the neutral corners and holds her arms up just roaring back at the fans that are cheering her. Solo runs back to the I.F.F.I. corner jumping into Salli Richardson’s arms. The hyper brunette turns and finds a camera, “Baby Doll! Yeah you Emily Browning. I’m calling you out, you’ve been put on notice Em!” Salli doesn’t look very happy about her fighters choice of post fight comments, but she lets it go since Solo is high from the win.
