Mary braced upon her face, looking windblown early, but grimly coming forward. Winstead's stubby jab starts locating Jovo's chest at minute mark...Mary able to get a little closer, put her back into short, clubbing shots to head...Jovo clouted into compliance, forced to stand toe to toe and slug. Crowd-pleasing midring swap-meet: Mary bobbing on the spot, mitts at her chin while dipping side to side, clobbering away up top. Milla startled by bashing head blows, but fighting back - her punches taking Mary across her breasts or face. Bell: Jovo's standing on apron, staring into punches...Winstead glaring, face shiny from Milla's leather...both girls landing tart through 2.

R3: Jovovich leggy to her left - sticking jabs off her hip...she wants to establish air-superiority, make her class decisive. Mary turning, forming palms-out earmuff to block poke...Milla definitely the quicker, springier-legged vixen, picking Mary apart in first minute. Second minute - Jovo pouring in righty off the jab - straight-poking blows POUNDING back Mary's face, leaving her wobbly-butt. Winstead staring, stunned again...she stumbles to her left after hard face-punches, trying to keep her hands up...Jovo smiling now, pumping the jab off her hip, dropping in those pinpoint right hands with devastating accuracy. Poor Mary! Forming ever-tighter earmuffs to protect her aching face, she's exposed to lashing left/rights to hips and paunch - Jovo really reefing in the body blows before sidestepping around that pulsing jab. Bell to bell Milla has her strutting...Mary blinking, wobbly-butt on the wander back to her stool.

R4: Mary proves scrappy - spitting stubby jabs from a bobbing crouch; crowding close; letting her hands go in bashing patterns to head, then plowing away left/right/left to gut as Milla looks to escape. Jovovich hard-pressed, slugged out of her stance, then aggressively pursued...she's using a lot of ring, trying to shake Mary. Down the stretch, Jovovich hopping backwards away from a full-steam-ahead Mary...Milla walks Mary into a GORGEOUS flurry of rights and lefts. Whirling assault tears at Mary - fists crashing off her face, chopping at her armpits/sideboobs...WINSTEAD'S HURT! Mary's knees bennnding, then straightening, tipping her straight forward onto Milla's left uppercut! Mary jerked upright, then she's stumbling forward...Jovovich retreating in good order, smiting Mary short, palm-down rights and lefts across the mouth, then sidestepping to let Winstead hit ropes chest-first! BELL: Mary groggily covering up, slumping in ropes as Milla lifts her mitts, nodding triumphantly...little Hayden at ringside clapping and shouting "COME ON, MARE! ATTA GIRL! COME ON NOW!" As Winstead reels into port.

R5: Milla closes to finish, pushing Mary into ropes and OH LORD, THE SLUGGING! Winstead mindlessly whirling short, chopping right hands/left hooks to Jovo's head: Milla drilling straight rights to face/left hooks to body...it's glorious two-way trading and DOWN GOES MILLA! Jovovich going down under a hail of Mary leather...Winstead leaping to the side as Milla quivers hurt on all fours, staring boozily out into crowd. Jovo beats the count - mouth open, lashes fluttering...she's a hurtin' beauty and ON COMES MARY! Whirlin' Winstead wades in - pushing Jovo to ropes - hacking away right/left in tight, chopping arcs...punches bouncing off Jovovich's stunned, sleepy face as she's pushing back weak punches and DOWN GOES MILLA! Milla piles in face-first, then rolling onto her back all devastated and shabby...Mary lifts mitts, bellows in triumph en route to neutral corner. JOVO BEATS THE COUNT! Milla cut in her mouth, battered senseless, swaying on the spot, but demanding ref get lost...Mary wades in and CATCHES UKRAINIAN HELL! Milla just letting hands go - punches kissing at random off Mary's face: Winstead backing up, sputtering in confusion. Jovovich hurt but working: Mary hurt, under siege...Winstead lathered to ropes where she covers up earmuff, cowering in crouch as Jovovich beats her without mercy to bell! Ref moves in Milla's lost in Mary-hate, punching and punching until restrained.

R6: Milla's got knockdowns to recover: SHE GETS AFTER MARY WITH GUSTO! Jovovich with the right at shoulder/left at hip/wide-stance look...she hooks tidy off the right (back) foot; leans in to catch Mary's mouth short-righty; bobs on the spot to slip receipts, then snatches left-off-paunch to bunch Winny up. Mary grimacing, getting touched up, then turned...classy Jovovich cleaning up with combos, sidestepping like a champ to reset her angles. Winstead in a bad way late, walking into short, clouting punches across her jaw as Milla retreats in good order, just walking stubborn American into palm-down chin-clippers. Bell: Mary stunned, mouth open...Jovovich helps herself to Winstead buttock via clapping right hand, sending a battered Foxfire vixen to her corner at the stagger.

R7: Jovovich jabbing so savagely and accurately that she dislodges the mouthpiece off Mary's teeth in opening moments. Winstead doggedly stepping-to, turning, chasing, getting her head snapped back via the Jovovich straight right hand...Milla in charge for exactly one minute until a BOOMING right upside the head changes her world. Jovovich suddenly staggering to her right, eyes blinking in astonishment...Mary hooks the mouthpiece off MILLA'S teeth; strokes her another swinging right to head, then tucks the left into Ukrainian gut as groaning Milla closes to clinch. Ref pushes girls apart midring...Mary wades in: Jovo picks her up a beaut of a short left uppercut to chin, putting Mary wobbly-butt. Winstead stumble-stepping on the spot: Jovo slaps her a wide left hook; drops in a short, hammering right...Winstead stumbles to her right, blinking in distress. Jovo wades in...both girls chop right hands to offending jawlines...MILLA'S TORSO GETS SLOPPY ON HER HIPS! Milla staring, hands out to either side in loopy gull-wing...Mary reeling, but rallying, reloading the right hand and jamming it stubby to chin! JOVOVICH GETS LOOSE! Milla's legs suddenly stiffen...she's stork-stepping forward in fence-post holes, arms outstretched as she gropes for a clinch...Mary POUNDS a right off face; turns her shoulders in a tight left hook across the chops, backing up in good order as Milla clatters forward. Mary pushes to stack midring, hooks the belly...Milla gasps "UH-H!" bunching forward hurt, staring as Mary hooks the jaw tidy. Jovovich desperately hurt, reaching to clinch again...Mary swipes tight-righty to chin; twitches her shoulders to put the tight left hook on chin, backing up in good order and MILLA GOES DOWN! Jovovich spilling to knees and face, buttocks high as her knees dig into canvas, pushing her forward, then rolling her onto her back. Milla sputtering, head tossing side to side - legs kicking out, but it's no go! KO7 in heartpounding fashion - Mary Elizabeth Winstead!

After: Mary belting away to glory on a favoured Milla Jovovich...Foxfire's hardest-working brunette putting the "win" in "Winstead" again. "Ohmigod," a badly scuffed and puffy Mary exclaims in postfight, "THAT was a tough fight! Milla's damn good - like a Krista Allen with heart - it was last woman standing there at the end.
