These girls were mates when they appeared as sisters in the UK soap ‘Coronation Street’, but now they have become rivals, with the younger Brooke determined to show Helen that she has very much grown up, and is more than ready to beat the newly blonde beauty.

Helen’s first into the ring, and she’s really preening herself – she is rather lovely, and is wearing white knickers and red vest top tonight. Brooke joins her in her black bikini – she has a nice body, but isn’t in the same league as Helen.

At this point we join Sky Sports Hayley McQueen’s commentary

Thanks very much – I’m looking forward to watching these two little tramps knocking hell out of each other!

Round 1

The bell sounds to start Round 1 and straight away Vincent scores with a quick hook to Flanagan’s after Flanagan missed with a wild shot of her own. Vincent brushes the ropes and quickly spins away, heading back to midring. Both fighters are circling, keeping their distance from each other, but now Flanagan just comes up short with the combination, and Vincent lands the jab and that's a punch she needs to make good use of throughout the fight. Flanagan backs into a neutral corner, and Vincent is literally dancing circles around Flanagan this round. As high as Flanagan is holding her gloves she is leaving her body wide open to a damaging body punch if Vincent takes advantage of it, with Vincent is really fluid in her movement. Vincent feels her back touch the ropes and immediately moves away. She doesn't want to get trapped there, and neither does Flanagan, who uses her legs to avoid Vincent's punches. Vincent scores with a tremendous left, and Flanagan appears to have been staggered by that punch – now Vincent sneaks home the right cross, and I think she can end this fight now if she can just land a few more punches. Now Vincent’s probing with her jab as she tries to find an opening in Flanagan's defense, and she lets her hands go inside, but Helen Flanagan protects her body well, and both girls landed effectively in that exchange. Vincent stunned Flanagan with that last shot and Vincent's killer instinct has kicked in as she looks to end the fight. Flanagan slides into the corner, and Vincent pins her arms. Now they move apart. Cocozza has to separate the two, and now Vincent tries to go to the body but she can't find an opening. Vincent moves into a neutral corner, with Flanagan holding. Well, she can't get hit if Vincent can't throw punches, I guess. Cocozza steps in and breaks it up, and there's the bell. Round 1 comes to an end, and that must go to Brooke Vincent.

Round 2

Vincent looks to be in excellent shape as Round 2 gets underway, but Flanagan's corner men did their job with quiet efficiency and confidence. Helen Flanagan retreats into a neutral corner, where Vincent looks to work her body, but Helen covers up nicely. Vincent retreats into the upper left corner, and Flanagan traps Vincent's gloves under her arms. She won't let go until Cocozza breaks it up. On the break Flanagan shoots the jab. She doubles up on it and the second one carried some power with it, and now Vincent is holding. Flanagan works her way free, and she lands a crushing uppercut! Vincent is suddenly in trouble! But she fights back, and Helen Flanagan is either lucky or has radar. Vincent's last punch missed landing by a fraction of an inch! A recovering Brooke Vincent takes a half step back as she tries to create some punching room, but Flanagan connects with a wicked hook to her head, then slides into a neutral corner as Vincent fires a volley of punches but Flanagan was already moving laterally and was out of harm's way. And Flanagan rocks Vincent with a quick, powerful uppercut on the inside. Vincent is hurt, but still moving nicely, using every inch of this ring. Both girls look to measure one another, then Vincent throws a flurry of punches; at least two solid shots made it through. Now she moves away. The girls are at close quarters now as Flanagan lands a hook downstairs, again hurting Brooke, who fires and misses. The bell sounds ending Round 2 – Helen’s round. Leigh-Anne Pinnock is about ready to climb through the ropes and into the ring to the whistles and cheers of the crowd.

Round 3

It's Round 3 of this scheduled 10 rounder. Helen Flanagan drops the right hand flush on Brooke Vincent's chin! Vincent is reeling after that shot! Full of herself now, Flanagan bounces off the ropes, challenging Vincent to come get her. Vincent's corner is urging her on. They're really vocal tonight, but their girl is dazed, and Vincent backs into the left corner. Flanagan connects with a thundering hook and Vincent drops to the canvas! Referee Cocozza moves into position over the sprawled Vincent and begins the count – Brooke’s up at 8, buts she’s is very, very shaky as she gets to his feet - her eyes have a vacant stare to them as Cocozza moves in to wipe her gloves, and the ref Cocozza looks into Vincent eyes and decides to let the fight to go on. Flanagan is going to let it all hang out and try to end this fight right here and now! She Flanagan traps Vincent in the corner, and tries to get her hook into the the ribs, but Vincent blocks it. Flanagan fires a shot, but it glances off Vincent's shoulder. Ooh, not a lot on that hook to Vincent's side, but it scored. Vincent suddenly looks very vulnerable. Flanagan can stop her if she lets it all hang out. Vincent slides into her own corner, wounded, but Flanagan just can't find the range with that cross. he fighters are back at ring center, with Flanagan circling her opponent. This is good body work by Flanagan but not much on those punches, but Vincent has suffered a delayed reaction to that last punch. She lurched forward and her legs look bad. Flanagan needs to capitalize on this moment because she can end this thing right now. Flanagan lets her hands go but her punches land on Brooke’s arms - Flanagan seems really focused on what she's doing this round, but Vincent has her trapped in the right neutral corner. Now the girls are exchanging blows! No one scored more on that exchange, but they trade again, and this time Vincent comes out on top in that exchange but Helen Flanagan was able to land some nice shots as well. Fans appreciate a fine display of boxing but as that last round proved nothing gets them going like a knockdown. Big round for Helen there.

Round 4

Flanagan is getting her full rest as she remains on her stool as the Round 4 bell sounds. Now she's up and her corner scrambles to exit the ring. Immediately Helen Flanagan has Vincent trapped! Look out! That was a straight right by Flanagan! And that punch has Vincent staggering around the ring like a drunken sailor! Neither fighter shows any wear and tear at this point, but Brooke’s looking weary, and Flanagan misses with that punch, letting the younger girl in, but Brooke Vincent's jab falls short, but the cross gets in behind it, and Flanagan gets in a short cross to the body. Again Vincent is pinned in her own corner. Flanagan is flicking the jab, trying to keep Vincent at long range. The fighters are jockeying for position as both try to gain the advantage here in the 4th, and they are tangled up inside. Vincent has a hand free and lands a little uppercut, tries another, but misses with that one - Flanagan forces her way inside and she lands a nice uppercut to the chin of Vincent, who Vincent fires back and misses. Feisty Brooke Vincent is rebounding from the knockdown she suffered in the last round, and she lands the right hand, grabs Flanagan's head, pulls it down, into her chest. Cocozza has to force Vincent to let go, and separates the girls. Flanagan moves into the far corner as Vincent throws punches in bunches and that's the way to disrupt your opponent's rhythm. Flanagan wraps up Vincent... Neither fighter will break, so again referee Cocozza prises them apart, copping a feel of Helen’s boobs there, I think. That ends Round 4 - but the fighters are still punching! Now Cocozza jumps between them. Just Helen’s round, I fancy.

Round 5

Cocozza motions the fighters together as the bell sounds to begin Round 5. Brooke Vincent lands a stinging jab. Still both fighters show virtually nothing in the way of damage. Amanda Redman was really animated in Vincent's corner and Vincent was nodding in agreement. Vincent wings a big left hand at Flanagan but the latter sidesteps the punch, and now Flanagan has Vincent blocked in! Flanagan fires a wild overhand right and misses everything, then Brooke turns her, and now Vincent pins Flanagan in the corner! Vincent lands a glancing, overhand right. She just missed landing that one square. Vincent gets in close and comes straight up to Flanagan’s chin with an uppercut. She has Flanagan cornered! But Flanagan picks off the cross by Vincent. And then Vincent misses wildly with the hook. Flanagan lands a jab. She's using it as both an offensive and defensive weapon on occasions. Vincent fires a solid combination, and Flanagan is covering up to prevent body shots, but she's leaving her chin dangerously unprotected! Brooke Vincent fires a punch over Helen’s jab and gets it in for points. Both fighters move back to ring center. Vincent darts in and out, making herself a tough target, and again she has Helen Flanagan pinned! Vincent circles around the ring as Flanagan backs into the far left corner. Brooke Vincent misses with the left and then fails to connect with the right as well – she’s just missing by a hair with her punches. Ouch! Flanagan scores with a hard uppercut upstairs from the inside, and Vincent ties up Flanagan. Referee Cocozza steps in to break it up, and Round 5 finishes with the sound of the bell. Brooke nicked that one back, but she took a hard shot late.

Round 6

The bell sounds to start Round 6. Flanagan is blocked in her own corner. Cocozza tries to separate the girls but Vincent has a vice-like grip on Helen Flanagan. Vincent uses her shoulder to force Flanagan out of the clinch. Flanagan is looking tired. That's going to make her more susceptible to a knockdown. Both girls take a half-step back. Quick hands and feet can take you far in this game. Of course, having a good chin helps! Now Vincent has Flanagan pinned! She rips off two quick jabs and one finds the mark. The fighters are trading punches and Vincent seems to have won that little exchange. Flanagan tastes Vincent's jab, but she throws a nice, short uppercut that scores to Vincent's jaw. Vincent tries to drop the right hand over the top but Flanagan ducks under it, then leans on Vincent and fires a hook to the ribs. Vincent rips a hook to Helen’s body. Flanagan fires a punishing jab into Vincent’s face – she wasn't probing with that punch – that hurt Brooke!. Flanagan scores with a crisp uppercut inside, and it looks like Vincent’s running out of gas as she walks in to a glancing hook from Flanagan. Brooke’s standing still, and Flanagan connects with an uppercut, and that puts Vincent on her knees, but not for long. She gets up at 5, but Helen can make good use of that punch if she can continue to get inside. The girls work their way back to the center of the ring, as the bell sounds ending Round 6. Another round to Helen and a second knockdown.

Round 7

The seconds hurry out of Flanagan's corner as the bell sounds for Round 7. Amanda Redman was in Brooke Vincent's face between rounds and Brooke Vincent just glared at her. We have no idea what the problem might have been. Off we go, and Brooke Vincent retreats into a neutral corner. Helen Flanagan's jab finds a home on Vincent's jaw, and then some nice infighting ends with Flanagan getting an uppercut in. Both fighters are carrying their arms low, and again Flanagan traps Brooke Vincent in the corner, but then ties her up and Cocozza breaks them up. Immediately Flanagan scores with a punch that's part uppercut, part hook! But Brooke takes it and now she traps Flanagan in the corner! A hard jab by Vincent gets in, but Flanagan lands a devastating uppercut! Vincent is staggered... but stays on her feet this time, and now both girls are pawing with the jab, trying to find an opening. Vincent digs a quick hook into the exposed side of Flanagan, and she has her cornered! Vincent fires a lead right that Flanagan manages to avoid, but then Brooke Vincent scores with a beautiful cross that just missed landing flush on Flanagan's jaw. Helen Flanagan pushes her way out to the center of the ring where the girls separate. Helen Flanagan misses wildly with a hook - she had an opening and whiffed with the punch. Cocozza yells at the fighters to separate but Vincent and Flanagan are a tangle of arms, and he breaks it up. Helen Flanagan appears to have a pretty good lead at this point. There's the bell, finishing Round 7, which again goes to Helen.

Round 8

Here come the girls again. Gail Kim was extremely upbeat during the break with Flanagan providing some solid encouragement. But now Flanagan is forced into her own corner. Vincent shoots a cross to the midsection, and Flanagan slides further into the corner. The girls have chosen to work on the inside and it's Brooke Vincent who scores with a short hook to the chest. Amanda Redman is just telling Brooke Vincent the obvious: throw more punches, move your head, step it up. That's not going to help much! Again Flanagan retreats into her own corner, and Vincent feints upstairs, then scores with a quick cross to the midsection. That punch actually went behind Vincent's head as she moved inside of a looping shot from Flanagan, who uses subtle movement and a tight guard protecting her body as Vincent tries vainly to score. Vincent backs away and hitches up her trunks, then Vincent scores with a rapid fire combination. Now Flanagan backs into a neutral corner. Vincent misses with the left and then fails to connect with the right as well, and now she’s trapped in her own corner. Vincent holds her arms up in disgust as Flanagan holds her around her waist. Referee Cocozza separates the two, and there's a pause in the action as both fighters regroup. Flanagan can't find the range as she tries to work the body, but Vincent’s holding on to her - she seems to be taking a breather. Again Cocozza moves them apart. Now both fighters take a breather as they clinch before Cocozza breaks them apart, again treating himself to a feel of Flanagan’s tits. Vincent lands a jab to the midsection, but then misses with the jab. She lets go with a left and that fails to find its mark, too. Flanagan moves in and connects with a compact uppercut to the head. Vincent frees herself from Flanagan's clutches! They move to ring center now. Flanagan appears to have this fight under control, but she’s had to concede this round as it comes to a close with the bell.

Round 9

Helen Flanagan was a little slow getting off her stool this round, and Amanda Redman seemed to pump up Vincent between rounds. Vincent is clinching. Cocozza better watch because some fighters aren't above doing some nasty head work when they're in close like this. Cocozza separates the two fighters. Brooke Vincent throws a flurry of punches but Flanagan either blocks or slips them. Flanagan fires a light jab to the stomach, then backs into the left corner. Vincent will tie the girl up if she has to. Again Cocozza moves in to break the clinch. Vincent has been watching too much wrestling, the way she's grabbing Helen Flanagan. The girls separate after another clinch. Flanagan is protecting her body nicely as Vincent fails to score inside. Awww, and Cocozza steps in and admonishes Brooke Vincent for hitting below the belt. Vincent is turning this fight into a clinching and holding affair as she continues to wrap her arms around Flanagan. Now they break clean, and Vincent back pedals away from the straight forward attack of Flanagan, who then picks off the jab thrown by Vincent. Again Vincent swings...and misses. Helen Flanagan goes downstairs with a right cross, then Vincent catches Flanagan with an uppercut as she tries to duck. She might be behind on points, but Vincent is moving around the ring nicely, although Flanagan seems to have done enough to win this fight. Not much to hang your hat on in that one, good luck to the judges as they try to turn in a score, but I had it even.
Round 10

The bell sounds for the last round of the bout. Vincent got quite a pep talk in her corner; we'll see if Amanda Redman's instructions work. That's a pretty long clinch! Do these girls want to hug or fight? Cocozza has to break them apart. On the break, Vincent flicks a lead right to the head of Flanagan, then Vincent snakes her jab through Flanagan's gloves. She had some snap on that one. Vincent seems really focused on what she's doing this round. Flanagan does a great job of moving as Vincent tries to work inside, and Flanagan shoots a vicious cross right down the pipe and catches Vincent flush! Brooke Vincent staggers into the ropes! She is struggling to remain upright! But Flanagan is tired, and she backs into a neutral corner. Vincent lets her hands go but her punches land on Helen’s arms then a cross to body by Flanagan gets through. Look at that subtle shoulder movement. See how Vincent rolls them? That throws off your opponent's timing. Vincent scores with a glancing cross, and then with a devastating uppercut! Flanagan looks shaken! And Vincent traps Flanagan in the corner! But she Vincent doesn't connect with the jab, and Flanagan throws a straight right that glances off Brooke’s shoulder but it's enough to keep her off-balance. Again Vincent has Flanagan pinned, and she cuts loose with a combination and the crowd roars, but the truth is none of those punches landed. Flanagan had her elbows tucked in nicely. These girls are both being extremely tentative as they tire - Flanagan comes in low. Vincent puts a headlock on her. Cocozza knocks Vincent's arm off Flanagan's head, and the girls each take a step back. There's another clinch. Neither fighter seems to want to break. Vincent finally lets go of Flanagan, but call it a night, sports fans, because this fight is over! Let's see who gets the nod from the judges, with Brooke getting that final round back.
