Downtown Julie Brown was feeling on top of the world after knocking out Elizabeth Shue in her latest bout. Jill 'Boss Lady' Hennessey had even given her a new larger office to carry out Julie's many duties as #2 in the Hennessey/DJB enterprise. The surprise came a month after Julie's performance against Shue. Her buzzer rang which she knew meant get inside to see Boss Jill immediately. As she approached she immediately spotted a sexy looking Chelsea Handler sitting on Jill's couch with those long stunning legs of hers crossed. Jill got down to business after ushering Julie to the chair in front of her desk.

 'Business is business Downtown and I have a generous offer from Chelsea here to purchase your contract and send you off with her'. 'However, instead of accepting this proposal outright I'm giving you the opportunity of fighting Chelsea with a victory on your part needed to stick around here'.

Julie was flabbergasted to say the least. 'I don't know where the hell to start with all this' she stammered. 'Take it easy honey' piped up Handler. 'I'll kick your ass so bad you will wish you'd never taken up boxing'.

'Then you'll be my regular coffee girl and office flunkie'. Brown was enraged and stood up and started for Handler. 'Jill jumped in between them'. 'I said that's business Downtown so get your ass training and let's see what you're really made of'. 'She's pretty tough you know' remarked Jill to Chelsea as Julie filed out of the office.

 The next month Julie was training hard with her erstwhile hardcore sparring partner and trainer Lela Rochon who was assisted by Valerie Bertinelli. 'I don't know what to tell you about Handler' said Rochon. 'She's got a big confident mouth but I think you can shut it for her'.

'Babe you got to do it' enjoined Bertinelli. 'Otherwise Lela and I are history in this place'.

'Once again just thinking of yourself' snarled Rochon to Bertinelli. Lela's wicked right cross hammered Valerie's jaw as the smaller star went down on her ass out cold as a clam. Lela laughed and high fived Julie. 'Been looking to cold cock her out for awhile again'. 'You can do her anytime you want' commented Julie 'but right now I need your skills to get me past this latest b.s. thing from Hennessey'.

Fight Night:

They meet in Hennessey's amphitheater in Montreal. The ref is Shirley MacLaine who motions Handler (white thong and high white boots from her Playboy cover) and Downtown (trademark purple thong also from Playboy) into midring. 'Let's see a good fight gals' commands the still stylish redheaded MacLaine.

Round One- Handler has the longer reach and about sixteen years of youth on Downtown. Her left jabs fire quickly and connect wickedly with the Tawny Vixen's eyes. Downtown moves in with some of her trademark body shots that get Chelsea's attention. These ladies don't dig each other one bit and Julie is in a dragass frame of mind. 'Can't wait to pull your whipped up ass around this place' snarls Julie. Handler's right cross follows and finds Julie's jaw exposed. Brown FALLS hard on the canvas and Handler raises her gloves chuckling for all to see. MacLaine counts to 5 and Julie is back up. Chelsea wades in and clobbers Downtown with some brutal left right combos to the head. She seems to have this fight well in hand. Chelsea is the current aggressor and is dishing out a harsh beating to Downtown Julie Brown causing the Cardiff, Wales born boxer to double up and groan in pain as the Jersey girl delivers numerous unanswered blows to the former MTV star's middle. 'Like the hammering COFFEE GIRL?' teases Handler. The bell rings with Chelsea strutting off to her corner with a smirk and upraised gloves.

Between rounds- Rochon is imploring Julie to force the fight and stop looking for openings. 'You have to do what works for you unless you want to get knocked cold Julie' warns Lela. 'You have to answer her NOW' she continues.

Round two- Julie is reaching back to find her desperately needed answer. She feints a body volley and connects with a solid left/right combo to Handler's jaw which sends the blond/blue eyed commediene back into the ropes. Chelsea's eyes look glazed from this shot and Julie is all over her. Downtown wallops Handler with a compelling left hook to the jaw and now Chelsea FALLS hard on her ass. Her fortunes are taking an unwelcome spin. She is up at six but Downtown is forcing this bout now and challenging Handler to a slugfest for all the marbles.

Left/right/left/right to Handler's jaw go Downtown's blows. Chelsea is staggered on those long legs and her arms are starting to droop. 'C'mon hot shot with all the money to buy COFFEE GIRL' taunts Julie. Chelsea is now looking to escape rather than dole out punishment. She is backpedaling and that's the sign of a loser. Suddenly she utters a statement Julie has heard over and over in her previous bouts from the likes of Kim Cattrall, Lucy Lawless and Katie Couric among others. 'You got me Downtown you win' begs Chelsea Handler who has now lost her sense of humor and all her confidence. 'Too late sucker' is Julie's comeback. 'Your ass belongs to me now' as she blasts Chelsea at will over and over to the jaw and eyes. The long legs of Chelsea Handler now buckle as MacLaine hops between them and shoves Julie towards her corner. The 'Funny Gal' plummets face down to the floor and is counted out quickly by Shirley MacLaine. Lela Rochon and Valerie Bertinelli are both enraptured by this great victory of Downtown's. Jill Hennessey couldn't lose either way and comes over to give Julie a congratulatory hug and kiss. 'You were great Downtown and I salute you' says Jill. 'Dinner in the boardroom just you and me and then some extra fun later'. 'You got it BOSS' replies Julie. She might have won this bout but she quivers when it comes to the BOSSLADY who always has had the upper hand.

Postfight- Handler is contrite as she sits next to Julie. 'This gal is beyond superb'. 'I really thought I had what it took to win but she showed me differently'. 'I bow to her and will be serving her dinner tomorrow night at my place and surrender myself to her in every way'. Julie is delighted to hear this acknowledgement of defeat by the talented comic. She gently kisses Chelsea on the lips and whispers that she will look forward to a little tryst with her the next night.

In the meantime Amanda Righetti has made a deal of her own with Hennessey over Julie who is now the target of one of the stars of THE MENTALIST. Stay tuned.
