Now these two girls are not friends, that’s for sure – let’s go to Hayley McQueen for the action.

Thanks Charlotte! You’re right! These girls cannot stand one another, and they’re both in the ring already, Katie preening herself in her pink bikini, still thinking she’s Barbie no doubt, with the more experienced Lisa in her favourite gear of black leather bikini. She has to be the favourite, despite her recent poor run of form.

Round 1

The girls are going for it, bigtime! Katie’s ripping hard punches into Lisa’s body already, but the singer’s just shrugging them off and she’s sending some big, clubbing punches into Katie’s face, and Katie’s hurt! Price is hanging on a bit, and Maffia pushes her away, the distaste obvious, and she gets stuck into the model’s body a bit herself, now, and seems to want to hammer those jugs – Katie protects her famous assets well, but at the expense of her face, I’m afraid, which is getting a battering in the closing seconds of round 1.

Round 2

Off we go, and Lisa’s hurt Katie again already – she just tagged her with a great right hook, and I think Katie might drop? No, she recovers well, and that’s a good punch she’s hit into Lisa’s ribs there, a hard left hand. But Lisa still comes forward, and she got through her with a straight right that time – Price is cut – and there’s a left cross, and Katie’s down! Katie Price is on her feet at 6, but the ref looks unhappy, and she’s having to have her face wiped – Lisa’s just split the bridge of her nose open! The fight continues though, and Katie’s still making a fight of it, even though Lisa’s got her again with the left cross, and Price is lucky to survive the round.

Round 3

Katie’s nose has been patched up to a certain extent, but she’s gone into a very defensive mode here now, and looks content just to try keeping Lisa at bay. Lisa’s going for her with some hefty right hands, but Katie’s blocking well, and not getting hurt. This isn’t spectacular stuff right now, but Katie’s reducing Lisa’s effectiveness by just not trading with her, which is obviously frustrating the hell out of Maffia, and she’s throwing plenty of leather, but not getting any reward. As the round ends, though, Katie allows herself a grin, and that nose wound has not reopened, so she’s happy!

Round 4

Lisa tucks into Katie again off her stool, and she’s going for her, folks, that’s for sure, looking to finish her off if she can! But she’s finding some resistance this round, and Price is hitting back! She just caught Maffia with an uppercut that’s all but flattened her, and now it’s Lisa trying to clinch, head down, and driving inward, getting cuffed to the head by Katie – the ref separates them, and gives them both a lecture, and that’s bought Lisa some time. She’s hurt though, and Katie’s giving her some more punishment – that’s good shot to the ribs from Katie, and Lisa whined after taking that. Katie’s trying to set Lisa up for the uppercut again, but that’s the bell, and she didn’t make it! Good comeback from Price though.

Round 5

Now Katie’s really looking aggressive, and Lisa’s not used to this at all! In fact, she’s getting a good working over from the shorter girl. Katie’s looking for that uppercut again – aw, nearly! That whizzed past Maffia’s nose – she got her that time, tough, and Maffia’s down, and she doesn’t look like she knows her own name as she gets up at 8. Price is in again, and she reaches for another uppercut, but that’s a poor effort, and it gives Lisa the chance to give her the old one, two and get out of trouble. Lisa’s regaining some balance now, and she’s keeping out of Katie’s way, and I have to say Katie isn’t quick enough to catch her.

Round 6

Katie’s still aggressive, and she’s chasing Lisa around the ring at the moment, with Maffia bopping punches out at her from range, and this isn’t suiting Katie at all – she’s a limited boxer! Now they stop, and they trade, and that’s a good right from Katie, and she goes for another uppercut, but she’s too slow, and Lisa rips her face backwards with a couple of solid shots – she’s opened that cut nose again – and that’s the left hook from Lisa that hurt Katie earlier, and it’s hurt her again! Price’s knees are jellied here, and she’s just covering herself as best she can, with Lisa pounding on her with whipping punches right through to the bell.

Round 7

Lisa’s looking good right now, and she’s forgotten that knockdown in 5, cos she’s going after Katie with both hands, the glamour model not offering much back either, and there’s the left hook again, and that’s enough to send Price to her knees! C’mon Katie, get up, girl! Yeah, she’s up at 8, but I think she’s had enough! There’s another left to her face, and another, and I don’t think Katie can see much of this, that nose is a mess! And the ref looks like he thinks the same – he’s stopped it! It’s all over for Katie!

Lisa Maffia stopped Katie Price in round 7.

Lisa is still a classy boxer, but I have to say her jaw’'s really suspect now, and her days in the top flight may be coming to an end! As for Katie – she was overmatched, I fear!
