Rachel Bilson (Hart of Dixie) versus Jessica Lowndes (90210)

Before: “It's funny...” Lowndes remarks in pre-match, “that a show with the word heart in the title would cast a girl who doesn't seem to have much.” Ouch. Those remarks bring in Bilson hot – eagerly pushing her opponent backwards as Lowndes responds in kinds. Squeals and slapping sounds echo from the podium before both girls are pulled apart, resuming their pre-fight press. Bilson scowling at Lowndes as they resume, “You are all going to see Jessi proven wrong when she's laying at my feet. I'm definitely a force at flyweight and Lowndes is the heartless one here. You all know that's true.” Several press members nodding in agreement as they recall her domination years earlier at CW events when promoting The O.C. Lowndes laughs as she appears eager to tweak Rachel further, “I'm going to kick her jealous ass. Cross my heart.” as she draws her fingers over where her heart is, drawing laughs. Ref intervenes as it appears Bilson is ready to leap across the table at Lowndes who is smug.

R1: Bilson eager to work on her aggression on her tormentress as they both come in pouncing towards one another in crowd-pleasing hup-hup fashion that has both fighters in a fierce exchange in the center of the ring. Lowndes sending her gloves whirling out towards Rachel's face, but Bilson's mitts mark Lowndes tummy. Rachel busier this round, just whacking away at Lownde's lower abs to break up any offense she has. Rachel scooping away at Jessica's belly, beaming as Lowndes keeps firing away, catching Bilson in spots with some tidy uppercuts and hooks. But, Rachel outworks Jessica this round to take it close as she has Lowndes doubled over heading back to her corner.

R2: Bilson wades in again to continue trading her lathering rights and lefts in the phone booth, but Jessica isn't quite as eager for that particular exchange to repeat itself. The two of them trading shots back and forth as Bilson is shooting out scrubbing, short jabs – right and left – towards Lowndes' firm belly. Lowndes showing good footwork, forcing Bilson to miss here and there, then Lowndes responding with heavy combinations of her own. Each time Bilson slams in a jab to Jessica's torso, it's Jessica retaliating with a speedy combination to land two or three punches – stiff jabs, swift uppercuts and speedy jabs – spanking away at Bilson, who gets outworked this round as she is staggering back at the bell. It's busy toe-to-toe action between the two as Lowndes' heavy combinations make the difference as Jessica smiles and Rachel scowls at the bell.

R3: The two of them immediately surging towards the center of the ring to trade once more, Bilson eager to demonstrate her own power as Lowndes is determined to follow up. The two of them frantically pounding away, pivoting, slamming in rights and lefts as Bilson gets clipped on the chin early on in the round as Rachel falls down to all fours. Lowndes smirking down at downed Bilson, but Bilson gets back up relatively quickly. The two of them immediately engage once again – shoving in right and left hands towards one another – before another vexing combination puts Rachel down again with a left jab to the belly and right cross has Bilson crashing to the canvas. Despite what Lowndes said in the pre-fight, Bilson displays plenty of heart here. But, from this point – after two quick knockdowns that have Rachel hurt and woozy – it's all Lowndes. Jessica is in full bully-mode at this point – just shoving Rachel openly into the corner. Bilson trying to push herself free, but just getting showered in leather – spanking right and lefts clipping along her face, uppercuts striking down into her tummy and hooks digging into her ribs. The ref has seen enough as Bilson's guard collapses and she slumps into the corner – Lowndes heartlessly pounding away as the ref stops the match and awards it to Jessica Lowndes via KO3!

After: Bilson slides down to the canvas as Lowndes stands over her, Jessica smug in victory as she brings up her foot and presses it to right breast, grinding down just over Bilson's heart, grinning as she blows Bilson a kiss. “Guess we know who the real heart of the CW is now, don't we, Rach?” as Rachel looks up at her foe, distraught and furious. Rachel reaching up to push at Lowndes' foot that pancakes her breast, twisting at the ankle to push her backwards. Lowndes staggers back, eyes narrowing, coming back in to teach Bilson a lesson as Rachel gets to her feet, but Lowndes sees the look in Bilson's eyes and apparently thinks otherwise. Lowndes goes to turn away, then as Bilson steps out of her corner, Lowndes sneaks in a sudden right hand plowing into her gut. Bilson crashes to all fours and receives a follow-up kick to her ribs with a smirk, then struts off, telling the assembled press, “Promised I'd kick her jealous ass, didn't I? I keep my promises.” Lowndes gets into arguments with Ashley Benson and Sarah Hyland on her way out, but doesn't lose her smug smile for one minute.
