Mr Bartholmew Alahandro Hay, better known as Smackey and i attended the CW Premiers PPV last night. During the pre-fight activities, we hung out in a corner of the room so as to not attract too much attention, since my distain of television actresses in general and CW in particular is well known. Daniela and Amanda both noticed and stopped by for brief conversations. I must say Smackey and I enjoyed the food and drink, which were first class. When we saw Tyra Banks on the podium, Smackey looked at me and said “Tess this is not good” We decided that having to sit, or in our case stand, through the presentation of glimpses of upcoming CW shows was more than the human heart could bear. After getting Daneila to agree to call us just before the fights began, we headed down to the bar in the lobby and avoided unspeakable agony, Finally we got the call from Daniela and headed back to the room

GRAHAM/ KRUEK Quite frankly before the fight began, I thought the Graham was badly outmatched. Once the fight began, I thought Graham was fighting the wrong kind of fight. Kruek is a multi-time champion and I don’t think you want to slug with her right at the sound of the opening bell. That backfired on Graham in the first round as Kruek’s power won the round. Surprisingly, Graham evened things up in the second. Graham’s hopes of winning came to an end in the third, when Kruek landed a pair of punches to Grahams trunks. It looked to me like the low blows were intentional, but I am not going to get into that argument. Anyway the low blows did the damage leaving Graham hurt and vulnerable. Kruek then pounded Graham at will until the referee stopped the fight. As usual Tractorpull does not comment on any post fight antics we consider unsportsman like.

BILSON/ LOWNDES As both came out of their corners punching, it looked like it was going to be a exciting fight. The two stood toe to toe as the punches flew back and forth with Bilson taking the first round. What worked for Bilson in the first round, didn’t work in the second, as Lowndes started to take control of the fight. In the third, it was all Lowndes as she decked Bilson twice and had her slumping helplessly in the corner, when the referee called a halt to the beating. Lowndes showing was encouraging to her fans.

HOLLAND/ FONSECA. If the ABC and CW PPV’s taught me anything, it is to avoid predicting a bout when you have a contestant that you have never heard of, who has no management and no record. I admitted I had no idea what Holland was all about so I decided to go with Fonseca. Big mistake. Holland took control of this fight from the opening bell, taking the first four rounds. Fonseca finally got on the card in the fifth when she decked Holland and then let the advantage slip away from her in the sixth, as Holland decked her. Fonseca took the seventh, which be her last gasp. The CW crowd seems to like low blows, since in this fight fouls were also committed as Holland went to Fonseca’s trunks with the desired result. All told Holland took eight of the ten rounds to get a lopsided win. A devastating result for Fonseca that has the vultures circling

McCORD/ CASSIDY Having much experience in martial arts competition and sparring with Regan, Theron and heavy hitting trainers, I can tell you that it is a big mistake to let your hair down around your face. It gets into the way, getting into your line of vision. A pony tail is the only way to go. As in the previous fights, the CW crowd doesn’t seem to believe in feeling your opponent out in the first round, seeing what she’s got, and how she is going to move. They came out punching again at the opening bell with Cassidy winning the first round. McCord would even the bout up in the second. Cassidy, then, got rolling, taking the next three rounds and having a wild lead at the half way point. McCord took the sixth and then it was downhill for her. Cassidy hammered McCord in the seventh and finished her off in the eighth with a classic uppercut and cross that left McCord being counted out. Cassidy breaks a five fight losing streak.

MEESTER/ DOBREV This was not only a CW fight, it was also an intra-stable bout as both hang their hats at Lookout. Meester is a long time member, while Dobrev was a recent arrival via trade. There was more riding on this fight than the previous bouts, with it’s stable implications. There were rumors in the hall that Meester demanded that, before the fight, the referee demand to see Dobrev’s green card. Dobrev came out working Meester’s body but it wasn’t enough to keep Meester from winning the first two rounds. After Dobrev took the third, Meester came close to finishing Dobrev in the fourth when she decked Nina. Dobrev managed to get herself together and take the fifth. In the sixth, Dobrev unleashed a vicious body assault and then decked Meester with a right cross. Meester got up but was obviously finished. The referee let Dobrev rake Meester with couple more blows and then stepped in and stopped the fight,

After the last fight

Smackey: Tess I think we should get out of here before all those CW women know you are here

Tess: Why

Smackey: I think you may have to fight your way out

Tess: I don’t see that as a problem

Smackey: Let’s go. Now

Tess: OK. let’s go
