BEFORE: "I'm looking forward to the challenge," Missy grins in prefight. "Katrina's not a big name, but she's a big girl, coming down in weight, bringing her power with her...it's a dangerous test. Everyone at Bonzo is a hard-nosed, well-conditioned fighter, so you know you've got your work cut out for you. I'd hope there's no vendetta in place as a result of what I did - what I had to do - to Lilly...but if there is, I'll deal with that too."

Law getting some much needed exposure against an elite lightweight - she cites her gym-prep as key to competing against Missy. "As you guys know, I've been duping Paula Patton for Amanda Righetti in sparring, which means I've been sparring with the best fighter in boxing for Missy. It's been great - the weight's all taken care of...I'm gonna hit Peregrym like a freight train and never look back. There's no 'vendetta' to speak of - our gym isn't into all that crap - but we know and respect Missy, and obviously we haven't forgotten her."

Missy in navy sport bra/sport bikini bottoms; white gloves; hair in feisty high pony with swept bangs. Katrina in black sport top/crimson sport bikini bottoms; black gloves; hair in high pony with ringlets framing face.

During R1: Missy patient - stepping to spots, measuring with the jab, right hand cocked at her chest. Law stepping-to - looking to bend into chopping overhand rights, then come back short, muscular hooks in concert. Kat gets the better of things - punching harder, timing Missy's jab, scoring to her head. Peregrym slugged out of her positions, forced to regroup and dig-in, only to be out-punched and dictated-to in the first.

R2: Better, more active Missy double-pumps the jab; drops short right hands through the middle; puts the hook on top - neatly pre-empting Katrina during the exchanges. Missy showing a lively leg - stepping to her left; stepping in with authority; pivoting-out around her hook...Katrina bobbing in crossed-arm, defending well, but can't make headway against Peregrym's crisp tempo.

R3: Blistering two-way fighting breaks out as both girls look to impose will. Law with those quick, chopping right/lefts scoring well face-and-breasts; Missy's jab punishing Katrina's face, setting up short, pulverizing right hands. Law leaning in to pump the tummy hup-hup-hup; Missy also investing in the body - usually via the spearing, straight right hand sloped down into gut. Down the stretch, Missy starts to encircle Katrina - outhitting her as Law circles the wagons, goes defensive late.

R4: Another good 2-way round, but Missy settling in as the dictator of events. Her jab's punishing Kat now, pre-empting her - Missy usually winning position and initiative with a good stiff poke. 'Trina still dangerous in spots - that short hatchet-stroke right hand a constant menace, keeping Missy wary, and short palm-down hooks still find Missy's chest or chin with unnerving accuracy.

R5: Katrina gets the better of Missy by disrupting the Peregrym jab...'Trina's hacking right/palm-down left punishing Missy's face, ringing up her chin, punching her out of her stance. Kat walking Missy down - punching-with - outhitting Peregrym, then advancing as Missy steps away to regroup. Concerned frown on Missy's face...'Trina obviously still very much a threat after 5 up-tempo rounds of fighting.

R6: Missy with a crisp boxing shutout...she's not hurting Katrina, but Peregrym stepping lively-left around her jabs and hooks, keeping Law at bay. Kat showing crossed arm with right hand at left ear/left across her gut, bobbing and moving her head...good defensive scheme keeping Law safe, but she's forfeiting points through 6.

R7: Oh that hacking little hatchet-chop right hand of Katrina's! She gets it early over Missy's jab, scoring cleanly to chin...Peregrym's legs give a shimmy/eyes blinking in confusion...she's hurt for a moment, covering up earmuff. Law steps-to, exploring Missy's midsection via a straight palm-down right, then hooking wide behind Missy's right elbow. Peregrym's sturdy chassis sponges it up until she can rally, then she's punching tidy from earmuff, picking Law up left uppercuts and stubby straight right hands. Missy's recovery impressive - she outworks Kat over the last 2 minutes, but that first-minute form break gives Law the round.

R8: Missy dominating with her jab until a sneaky palm-down hook steers into her chin, unhinging her knees. Kat takes over as Missy covers up...'Trina stationed off Missy's left hip, dipping left shoulder to tuck tuff little hooks to Peregrym's paunch. Missy grunting, feeling the weight of shot...she's tottering forward behind her mitts: 'Trina picks up Missy the tight right uppercut between the gloves, then shrugs in the left uppercut, putting Missy wobbly-butt. Peregrym staring, hurt - she tries to jab Kat off, but takes that vicious hatchet-chop right to chin in trade...Missy's tanned legs give a shimmy, so Law doubles up, chops the right hand and MISSY SPILLS ONTO HER FACE! Peregrym deadweight on her belly...SHE'S NOT GETTING UP! KO8 in upset fashion, Katrina Law!

After: Law deliriously happy - getting hugged and backslapped by her cohorts...Missy gently brought around in stages, given smelling salts in her corner. "I've always had lightweight-fast hands," Law beams in postfight. "Welterweight power and lightweight speed - those're my 'killer apps' - and Missy couldn't handle either one! We trained to beat her up - I mean - I thought I'd have to lay siege round after round and grind out the decision, so that's what I was ready for. But I was hurting her - I could see I was moving her and hurting her all night, so when I got her legs to go, I just poured on. I LOVE that I stopped her - it's a big highlight for me, and I'm hungry for more!"
