BBU CHAMPIONSHIP BELT FIGHT NIGHT

(GIRLS FRIDAY VS FOXFIRE ATLANTIC BOXING)

Welcome to BBU fightnight – and tonight we have all four belts at stake, and four title eliminator fights to start out with. So with no further delay, let’s join our commentator for the evening – it’s Sky Sports Hayley McQueen:

Thank you very much, and here we go with the first fight of the night:

This flyweight eliminator is between two good looking blondes, but there’s been some talk of favouritism in Cardiff tonight, because this is the second time Emily Atack’s been in this position in quick succession, whereas other girls haven’t made the cut. That’s life, I’m afraid.

Here come the girls, both great looking blondes, with Slvie in a pink bikini, and Emily in a scarlet bikini. Both girls are wearing white boots and gloves.

Round 1

Both girls want a quick start, and it’s Sylvie doing well so far, slipping inside Emily’s guard and giving the Brit a few short arm punches around her mouth. Emily isn’t happy, and she’s barreling Sylvie back, looking for body her in the early stages, but the Dutch girl has targeted her face for special attention, and those short uppercuts are popping Emily’s head up and back every time she tries to drag the girl into a close quarters brawl. This is good stuff from Sylvie, and she’s surprising me – she’s quick and agile, and her sharp punches are worrying Emily, and I reckon that’s her round really easily!

Round 2

Emily needs to up the ante here, and she’s doing just that! She’s trading toe to toe with Sylvie at the moment, and that’s not good news for the model, who has to move backwards a little, actually a lot, and Emily’s got the girl stuck on the ropes, where she’s tearing in at her body, and I think she’s hurting her. Sylvie needs to cover up a little better I think, or she’ll be beaten really badly, and she may have the same idea, because she’s clinching a little now, and stopping Emily from landing those hooks to her midsection. The ref’s giving her a hard time, but she’ll take his words rather than Emily’s punches – and they’re slugging it out again, and that’s a good shot from Emily, she slammed a right hook into Sylvie’s mouth, and the model staggered – boy, that was a good hit to end the round!

Round 3

Yeah, Sylvie’s slowed down quite a bit already – that right hook’s still got her head ringing, I’d say! Here’s Emily, and she’s going for Sylvie’s body again now, and those punches are making quite a noise as they slap into her midsection – and they’re reddening her skin a little, too. But the model’s hanging on in there, and she trades again with Emily, right by Emily’s corner, and catches her with a nice left to the cheek, but the actress peppers her face, oh dear! She’s really getting stuck into Sylvie now, and this is tough for the Dutch girl, because she’s got nowhere to hide from this, and the punches just keep landing in her face – that’s the bell, and I have no idea how she withstood that battering! She looks bemused and staggers to her stool.

Round 4

To be honest, I think Sylvie’s nearly had enough of this, and Emily gives her a good thump in the tummy straight away, and another – the Dutch girl’s knees are shaking! Emily’s hitting her as she likes now, and that’s a good left hook, right on the model’s cheek! Finish it, Em! No, Sylvie’s hitting her back! What a game girl! She just whipped an uppercut up and through Emily’s gloves, and she’s got the Brit stumbling backwards, and now her back hits rope! In closes Sylvie, but she’s too slow, and she gets to Emily just in time for the actress to unload, left, right, left – and down goes Sylvie! This might be over? No, she’s up again, but that’s a slow 8 count, I reckon, and she’s not looking too great as she sways backwards – not long to go in this round, and maybe that’s the ref’s thinking – but Emily’s in at her again, but Sylvie holds on to her, traps her gloves under her arms, and survives the round – just!

Round 5

Emily’s looking a damned site fresher than Sylvie, I can tell you that! And she’s wheeling her arms away, getting closer and closer to the model, closing her down into a corner now, pushing her and poking her almost gently backwards, waiting for the girl to crack, and aww, good right hand Emily Atack! Sylvie’s down, and I have to say, Sylvie’s out!

There'’s the result: Emily Atack knocked Sylvie van der Vaart out in round 5.

Now, the girls aren’t allowed to give post fight interviews, or make announcements in the ring tonight, and there won’t be any ritual humiliations either, but I have to say Emily looked pretty good out there – I just wonder if Sylvie was good enough to have been given this eliminator fight.
