It's been a very tough experience for Taylor Swift so far, four fights and four losses. The blonde singer hasn't appeared in the ring in 2012 but she can't hide anymore as stablemate Katie Holmes offers her advice and couple of harsh words as well: "If I could make a comeback, so can you, kid! And we've got one girl willing to test your skills. Not to mention I beat her just few days ago, so it's up to you kid, to finally deliver all that promise!"

Swift knows it's perhaps her last chance to salvage anything out of her career as she takes on Rachael Taylor, the Aussie actress made her FCBA debut against Katie Holmes just six days ago and despite a brave effort, got stopped in the fifth round. But she believes she can handle the winless Swift: "OK, it's usually the inferior girl first and the stronger next, but Mirage Boxing send Holmes ahead of Swift. For me, Swift is the worst fighter of the two and no matter what advice she gets from Holmes, I will beat her anyway!"

Maiden win on the cards for either of the blondes as they arrive in the ring full of confidence allthough Swift needs some encouragement from Katie Holmes who keeps padding her on the back and makes some nasty gestures towards Taylor. The Aussie girl looks unmoved though, she's focused on Swift alone and doesn't seem to be bothered with Holmes' presence. Will she avenge that loss from few days ago remains to be seen.

Round 1

"Remember kid, she's even weaker than you! Don't look at me like that! Just go out and destroy her!", "coach" Katie is all over Taylor's ear before the opening bell and both blondes square off in the middle of the ring straight away as Swift looks to convince everyone she's much better than her record indicates. Rachael Taylor finds her range to the ribs though, gives the singer a quick reality-check but gets nailed over the top as Swift refuses to buckle. Head-snapping combo from the singer as she pauses a bit and seemingly asserts the impact she's done on her rival which meets little praise from her mentor "Go on! Go on! More like that!". Swift tries to follow up but Rachael covers up and works the single striking response herself. Aussie girl tries to close the distance even further but Swift dekes back, has Rachael cutting the air in fruitless efforts before another counter from Swift emerges and she smacks straight jabs to the head as the older girl has to cover up again. "Coach" Holmes is happy with that stance allthough the singer inflicts little damage until the final minute when she finally breaks through the mitts and catches Rachael on the nose. Swift makes the use of her longer reach finally paying off as she clubs more shots to the ribcage and forces the older blonde to circle away and seek respite along the ropes. The Aussie girl shows little agression, almost puzzled by the fact Swift can actually throw and LAND a punch and Katie Holmes applauds her protegee at the bell as the singer affords herself a smile. One wonders whether the Swift camp expected a much harder test then Rachael is offering them right now.

Round 2

Rachael knows she looked bad in that opening round and she steps in to teach the singer some lessons as Swift's footwork was less than swift in the early seconds and allowed the Aussie girl to catch her in the ribs and that slender body frame does the singer little favors as Rachael makes her wince in pain but a follow up uppercut to the chin crashes off the guard. Rachael leans on her foe, still works the low jabs as Swift has some problems with stretching her arms in close distance, flicks some uppercuts to the head, but only skims off the flesh and backs away as the actress drives her to the ropes. Swift just turns around and avoids getting trapped for good as Katie Holmes becomes very vocal in her corner as well; one good round is nowhere near enough to turn around the fortunes as Rachael whacks her on the navel and Taylor's hurtin' for sure, blinks few times but whips a left hook on the temple and Rachael's briefly stunned but there was more randomness involved and the Aussie's lack of focus rather then true skill. Makes no difference to Swift as she wrestles with her rival in the middle of the ring and both girls fail to land a noteworthy punch for a while, struggling to impress the viewers. Ref steps in, separates the fighters and Rachael throws a quick hook to the mouth, fails to follow up though and chance goes down the drain as Swift circles back and out of reach. Footwork's improved from Swift and she blocks further efforts, lands a left hook over the top herself and Rachael's head snaps back once, make that twice as Swift follows up with a right hand to the mouth! Quick leap from the singer and she whips more shots to the ribs and Rachael covers up again, but she's stranded in the middle of the ring as Swift whacks her repeatedly to the midsection and it's the Aussie's girl time to moan in pain. She lowers her guards, looking for better protection but Taylor slices her across the mouth with another left hook and a right jab lands clean on the eye and Rachael wobbles back to the ropes. She fails to raise her arms in time as Swift makes no effort down low, goes with a hooking combo to the face instead and nails the actress under the right eye, whacks an uppercut to the chin and Racharl sinks on her knees! More straight jabs to the face follow and at the bell Swift is running riot with unanswered combos to the face as Rachael's guard looks might frail and at the bell Holmes is over the moon with her girl while Rachael nurses several lumps and bruises on her otherwise pretty face. Where did that come from? Swift looking nothing like the alleged punchbag of the division!

Round 3

Rachael's reputation might take a fatal blow if she continues that second round performance and she knows it. Despite Taylor surprisingly lumping up her face with not-that-heavy but accurate and repeated blows, Rachael's agression is still up to the task and she tries to close the singer down and Taylor's footwork is matched, allows Rachael to whack more vicious shots to the ribs and that's seemingly Swift's weak spot as she moans in discomfort with the Aussie pounding her with a lot of intensity. Couple of uppercuts to the chin follow and that's caught Taylor as well, the singer steps back but avoids getting trapped in the corner. Still, Rachael keeps the close range, fires hooks and stiff jabs to the face and Swift fails to find her rhythm despite all that promise in the previous round. Ribcage attack follows, Swift now exposed even further as Rachael drives her to the ropes after all and intends to make the break-through. Elbows inside, singer desperate in defence as Holmes screams her heart out in the corner. Impressive effort from the actress but she doesn't make further progress, seemingly forgot about the variety again and Taylor wraps her arms around the neck, forces a clinch as Rachael bangs few more jabs to the ribs before ref steps in as she's unable to free herself of Swift's long limbs.

Back to center of the ring, ref doing Rachael no favors by shoving her away, and Swift grits her teeth and launches a comeback, Aussie girl annoyed, leaps forward herself and they tangle with loads of venom as Rachael works to the midsection but lacks precision this time and Taylor whacks her with a double overhand combo which gives the older blonde more bruises as staggers her briefly. Swift with more straight jabs to the chest, something new in the armor but Holmes encourages more efforts up high and Swift goes around the guard, another combo on the temple and Rachael's defence gets exposed. Reach advantage on the singer's side, wide slaps find their mark and Rachael just absorbs punishment before getting pushed back to the ropes. She tries to circle around them but Swift works the single hand, peppers the guard, splits the mitts couple of times and nails Rachael on the nose as the Aussie blonde loses her footing and falls firmly to the ropes. The singer is visibly animated here, meet the new-born Taylor Swift as Katie's screams are seemingly boosting her into a seldom seen before attack. Left hook again whacks Rachael on the temple and wobbles her to the side as a right hand follows up on the stomach and suddenly Taylor's knees give way, another left skims off the top of the gloves but still catches the Aussie woman on the forehead, another right on the stomach and DOWN GOES RACHAEL TAYLOR!!! Swift breaths heavily, shiny eyes asses the damage as she tries to fight few loose hairs which came off her ponytail. Rachael with far bigger issues, beats the count at seven but looks hurt, leans forward and grits her teeth trying to hide some internal pain. Well into the final minute now and Holmes is almost climbing the ropes: "Now, now, finish her now!". Swift's not so "innocent eyes" anymore, she's aware of a life-time oportunity presenting itself and she leaps after her foe straight away, ref just jumped into safety himself in time and Rachael sinks on the ropes, gets caught with a flying hook on the mouth, covers up but Swift throws wide slaps to the head and body, check that face, she's mad like a hatter late in the third and has anyone ever seen her so gung-ho in the ring? Katie Holmes raises her arms in the opposite corner as she watches on and waits for the beef. Swift screams in anger herself, keeps Rachael pinned on the ropes and while the Aussie tries to duck under the onslaught, she cannot move away for an inch, left on the younger blonde's mercy but there's no mercy shown by the born-again boxer Swift! Left hook finds an opening, nails Taylor on the nose and the actress caves in, too much leather tasted it seems and she sinks on her knees for good, Swift whips another right on the guts, jabbing combo to the ribcage and the Aussie moaning is even hard to listen to as she's covered behind her gloves, but gets them shoved into her mouth by another straight jabbing combo. Rachael's head snaps back few more times and the pounding is just too much for the referee to accept. HE STEPS IN with just ten seconds left on the clock!! So close to being saved by the bell, but Rachael's rough introduction into FCBA continues.... TKO R3 Taylor Swift!!!

Post-fight

No holding back in the Swift camp as Katie Holmes jumps through the ropes and embraces the blonde singer who's sobbing in joy. What a way to celebrate your maiden victory! Have we seen the awakening of Taylor Swift after couple of years of sheer disappointement? "Rachael Taylor was just the start!", a visibly excited Holmes indicates in the post-fight interview as Swift can't find a word and just blubbers "oh my God, oh my God, I did it, I really did it", Katie pads her on the back and keeps the strictly business mood to herself, "The kid's obviously happy and I can't blame her! Now that she's opened her account I suspect Jennifer O'Dell will have to find her a proper nickname (laughs). Yup, it's the Asylum next but I doubt Front Street knew whom they were inviting to the Manor. It's not that same girl who got smoked by Ke$ha! It's the new Taylor Swift and I know they will all love her! By all I mean everyone except Katy Perry and the Wiz entourage. Will all the respect to Rachel McAdams and Angelina Jolie, Katy vs Taylor will be highlight of the night! We admire Katy's presence, but she's up for one big shock once she tastes that Swift leather we've got in store for her! Can't wait!"

Meanwhile it's a different sight for the Aussie blonde who is more concerned by the lumps and bruises inflicted by the singer rather than imminient plans. For the second time in just a matter of days she fell victim of the Mirage streamroller and quite frankly her defence leaves a lot to improve. Even if Taylor Swift's a changed fighter, Rachael just couldn't take too many punches before fading away and literally inviting the singer to batter her into submission. She'll need to work on the punch resistance a lot if she hopes to achieve some success over here.
